I walked into one of our clothing shops.
"How may I help you, Luna?" The girl behind the counter asked, bowing her head and showing her neck in respect.
"I need something that will work well in a fight but is also flexible and blends in, in the dark." I told her. She nodded her head.
"I think I have just the thing you are looking for. And would you like it to hold any weapons?" She asked turning to face me.
"You where reading my mind." I said with a smile. Returning the smile she walked to the back. I wait for a few minutes before she waved her hand and pulled me into a dressing room. I pulled on the body suit. It was all black and made of leather, several straps and hooks where on the front. There where also more straps on my hips and a holder on my back for swords. An added feature that I was sure Raven would love was the zipper in front.
"This is perfect!" I exclaimed.
"I am glad you like it."
"How much is it?" I asked looking down at the tag but she snatched it out of sight. I looked at her, what was wrong?
"For you it is free." She stated. I shook my head.
"I can't do that, at least let me pay you for your help." I insisted. But still she protested.
"No really, you have bigger things to worry about." She said. I sighed and nodded. The last thing I wanted to do was use my Alpha voice. Getting changed into the clothes I was wearing before I walked out the door and thanked the girl one more time. I had some planning to do but I first wanted to talk to my mate about it.
"Blackthorne!" I yelled, running up to him. He was sending off a patrol and looked at me, smiling.
"I have some ideas I want you to hear about. Oh and can you patrol the east part of the boarder? That is where they last attacked." I told the other wolves. They nodded and ran off. My mate rolled his eyes.
"I was just about to say that, so what are your ideas." He said crossing his arms in front of his chest and putting all his weight on one foot.
"Ok so with the attacks I was thinking that we could divide the pack into units. The adult pack members would go through skill along with mind tests. Depending on their score they would be put into one of the units." I said, out of breath. Slowly he nodded looking up and to the side. I smiled.
"When did you get so smart?" He teased. I lightly punched him on the arm.
"So what do you think?"
"I think we should do it, but give me more details first. the last thing I need is more wolves dead." He told me and we started walking and talking.
"What where you thinking as far as the skill test goes? And would some members be put into units just because of their rank in the pack already?" Blackthorne asked.
"I was thinking that we put them through a simulation then hand to hand combat, along with an endurance challenge and maybe a sprinting challenge. No, everyone has to do these, even the Omega might be put with the top skilled unit." I rolled my eyes, the answers to these questions where obvious. He nodded.
"Well I am going to announce this to the rest of the pack, the trials will be in five days. What are the names going to be for the different units?"
"Well the most elite unit with be the Eagles. Also that is the unit that will spy on things going on outside the pack boarders. The rest of the teams can do a vote on the names." I told him, nodding he ran outside and called to the pack to give them the announcement.
Walking up the stairs I can her him talking, I was hoping that this would make us more prepared for another attack. I got changed and strapped weapons in the holders on the suit. I also put on some makeup and added to the look. The door opened and Blackthorne walked in.
"They all liked the idea. Like I said the trial will be in five days. And will you be taking the test?" He asked me leaning on the door.
"Of course I will be! Just because I am the Luna of the pack does not mean that I will be treated any different." I said. Collecting a black sports bra and black spandex I threw them in a bag also reaching for my pair of Black running shoes. He sighed and nodded. Passing him I gave him a kiss on the arm and walked out the front doors to the main clearing. Wolves where moving around very quickly. Some on their way to training and others to meet up with friends. I smiled and walked to the training arena. Grabbing my phone I turned on some Fall Out Boy. I also took out some earbuds and put my phone in the top band of my spandex. I strapped on some black boxing gloves and walked up to a punching bag. I put my hands in front of my face and took tiny steps back and forth. I punched the bag over and over again. It eventually came off the hinges and crashed to the floor. I looked at it and wiped the sweat off my forehead. Raven could have done that in one hit. I just looked at the bag for a few seconds before shrugging and going back over to my workout bag and pulled out my water bottle. I took off the gloves and shoved them in my bag. I showered and got changed back into the body suit. Changing pace I went to knife throwing. I had everything else for the day planned out for the next few days. Boxing, knife throwing, swords, guns, and last wrestling.
After I was done I walked back home. Suddenly I saw a shadow move out of the corner of my eye. I growled and stalked forward, but the shadow just kept running. I ran forward and tackled it, at this point I could see it was a man. The wolf yelped and hit the ground. I was already shifted and on top on him. I growled loudly and turned the man over. His eyes wide with fear.
"What are you doing here, rouge?" I snarled.
"You have five seconds to answer me."
"I was here taking care of some work. I swear!" He crus and I apply pressure to his neck but then I feel several safety locks click on guns. I look up and behind me. There where several more rouges all with gums trailed on my head. I growled before all the guns went off at once.
