Listen, right now you need to focus on getting our pack live, and well again in time for the next attack. And something tells me that there is not much of that time left. Crimson scolded me. I rolled my eyes.

Well I have time to worry about other people don't I? I shot back. She growls, unamused.

At this place and time, no that is the short answer. We are going to be in trouble with our mate anyway so don't make it worse. She retorted. I ended the mind-link and growled. Laying my head down I quietly cursed at myself. Suddenly the door is smashed open and I jump in surprise.

"Shade! Oh my god, again I thought you died, you can't play with my emotions like that! Really, you can't." Blackthorne says rushing in and wrapping me in a hug. I gave him a small kiss on the cheek as we pull away.

"Listen, I'm fine. I trained with Raven, you can't get rid of me so easily. Besides, I would never leave you in a time like this." I said giving a small laugh. He rolls his eyes and smiles. Grabbing my hand I am dragged out the door. I see drowsy wolves stumble around the clearing.

"This is the last thing I need to see." I mutter. Blackthorne laughs.

"All these wolves would be dead if it was not for you. Be happy they are alive. Your blood helped them." He smiled at me, I smiled back.

"I'm glad I could do something else other than kill." I whispered.

"But what about the rest? What happened to them?" I asked fearing the answer.

"264 dead to silver poisoning." He stated like a robot looking up at the sky. I nodded and tears threatened to spill.

"Yep, okay. We need to get ready for the next attack, but first I need to get caught up on everything. I'll meet you back at the pack house. Promise me you won't do anything stupid." I choke out.

"I promise, as long as you promise me you won't be so careless with your life." He smiles at me and sneaks a kiss before running off. I smiled and I bet also blushing like mad.

"Rosa!" I called out to a girl with blond hair and yellow eyes. She was standing with one of the pack members who survived. Standing in her normal white lab jacket like normal.

"Yes Luna, what is it?" She asked turning to me. I stopped in front of her to catch me breath.

"Honestly you should be resting right now. You where dead just a minute ago." I places a hand on my shoulder and tilts my head up so I am looking at her in the eyes.

"Blood lose, should have known. Okay what do you want." She asked.

"No time for rest, I need to know what happened when I was gone, you are the only person I trust to tell me the truth." I say looking around. Nodding we went down and sat in her kitchen.

"Okay well I'll start off by saying, what happened while you where gone is not your fault." She says, glaring at me. I nod in understanding.

"Okay, so a few days after you left there was howling nonstop howling. Then wolves started going missing and dying. Some of silver poisoning others sheer and brutal murder. Right before our very eyes our pack was being killed and we could do nothing of it. You and the Alpha and the betas were gone we were completely defenseless. We tried to fight back but what could we do with no one organizing our leading us we could do nothing we just that they're helpless and watched as countless wolves died. Then we started to catch rouges in the act. But by this point we already knew you had been lost for some time. Yet we never lost hope and faith that you would return. Then one night the alarm was sounded for the border patrol. Others had been spotted. Rouges, the battle that we just won, that was the first battle we won against them. Most of the time we would lose 25-45 wolves at a time, just gone, vanished.

"We are fighting to stay alive. To keep this territory and this pack." She starts to whimper as tears fall down her face. I lightly pat her back shushing her calmly.

"It's okay, everything is going to be okay. I promise you that. Not that it matter much but..." I look around to see if anyone was listening,"you know Raven Blackwood/Silver? Well as it turns out she is my cousin!" I whisper to her quietly. Her eyes wide and she looks at me, completely shocked. I smiled at her and nodded. Though my expression quickly turned cold and dark."i had to leave her to come back to the pack and it was at a time when she needed me most. We have all made sacrifices in this battle so far. Trust me you are not alone. We all have, and those sacrifices won't go to waist." I say standing up amend looking out the window forming a plan in my head, walking out the door I whistle to get everyone's attention.

"Listen up all of you!! We are putting in some safety measures. Here they are, pups are going to start training as of tomorrow, the elders are going to go back to the Silver Bloods pack in America. The three, don't leave the grounds without someone to go with you. Understood!" I yell out.

"Yes, Luna!" They shout back. I smile and through my fist in the air.

"We are not going to go down, we are going to stay and fight! You can't just walk in and call this land your territory without messing with all of us!" I cry out into the sunny sky. Everyone starts yelling in agreement. When they disperse I see Blackthorne walk up to me.

"I did not know you knew how to run a pack." He purred. I winked up at him.

"You can't be around Raven and not expect to pick up some tricks." I brush my finger on the bottom of his chin. I hear his wolf send a happy growl through his mouth. I smile and walk away. I needed a wardrobe change.
