Thirty-Five

-Alice's Point of View-

"These are the only fabrics we have in you're selected color choice ma'am, if you desire another fabric you will have to place an order for it to be specially ordered." The shop manager stated.
I rubbed my forehead, if I were a human I would have a massive headache from all of this last minute wedding planning.
"I will just have to go somewhere else" I sighed, "thank you for you're cooperation."
I turned to leave when yet another small glimpse of a vision hit me.
As of late I haven't been getting my normal visions. Usually my visions are long, detailed, clear. But these annoying little visions are short and fast little blurs that I have to think really hard about to pick up even the smallest details.
The last full vision I got was Emmaline telling Jasper she was deciding to become a vampire, this vision happened at thanksgiving. But after that the visions went wonky.
Alvaro believes it is because I am "doing too much" with the wedding, our honeymoon plans, still helping him adjust to the "vegetarian" diet, not to mention I'm still looking out for the Cullen's futures as well as small things like weather and stock market trends.
Either way, I can't wait for my visions to go back to what they were before, so I could stop seeing the same fast clip of a brown haired woman with blood red eyes.

-Jasper's Point of View-
.....
I watched as my girlfriend drove away, and then I joined the rest of my family as we left the school to go home.
Once I got there Emmett and I ran to the next state over and drank out full before running back home.
"Hey can you grab that rope from the shed out back, I'm going to need it and I'll also need your help."
Emmett's eyes went wide and I laughed.
"You don't really think Emmaline and I need rope for sexual acts do you?"
"Well I did until you said that." He admitted a little embarrassed.
I shook my head in disbelief, "Emmaline needs me to pick up a Christmas tree she purchased the other day, I need the rope to tie it to the truck, I need you because if I go to the lot and pick up a tree by myself the guys there are gonna pick up on the fact that that's strange."
He went round back and collected the rope, once we got to the tree farm just on the edge of town I gave them Emmaline name and number and they showed me to the tree she had paid for.
Of course the thing is massive.
"Everything's bigger in Texas." Emmett chuckled.
We loaded the tree with ease and I dropped Emmett back off at the house, Marta is always to busy to notice the obvious signs of me being a vampire and Emmaline already knows I'm a vampire so it works out.
I was a bit worried about showing up so late, but luckily when I arrived no one was there, I sat in the truck until I heard a car approaching, I got off the truck just as I saw Emmalines car pulling up.
I went over and helped the ladies take the bags in before Marta disappeared, I made quick work with the tree and had gotten inside and in place before Marta could string two and two together.
"Will you be joining us?" Marta asked of my dinner plans.
I had to "regrettably" decline, while food isn't harmful to us, it's pretty tasteless and serves of no nutritional value so we tend to steer clear of it.
I promised I would come back after running a few errands and now I had to go back home to pick up Renesme.
As soon as we pulled up to the building Nessie bounced out of the car and practically skipped into the venue.
"Good evening Ma'am, and to you as well good sir." A gentleman said as he held the door open for us.
There were a few people here and there looking at various items, we approached a saleswoman who seemed to be free.
"Oh hello, would you like to see something?"
I smiled and declined, "I'm actually here to pick up an order of mine, it's under Jasper Hale."
She understood and went to the back of the store, she came back smiling as she handed me the small box.
"Uncle Jazz it's perfect." Renesme commented in a near whisper.
I looked at her slightly amused, "Nessie you were here when I picked it out."
"Yeah but it's still as perfect as it was then." She rolled her eyes in a 'duh' fashion.
"It's perfect." I told the woman, "I'll go ahead and take it, can I also see your necklaces please?"
The woman walked us over to another counter.
Once more Renesme rolled her eyes, "why don't you just propose as your Christmas gift, I mean your buying the ring anyways, and you've already had all the work done on it."
"As much as I would like to, I don't want her to feel like I'm pressuring her into choosing immortality to be with me forever." I admitted, "I know I want to marry her that's why I'm buying it and yes I will propose to her but I won't do it until I feel like she's ready to be with me."
"You are so clueless." She said as she gave me a small smile.
I picked out a pretty necklace with an emerald pendant.
"Hey what's the deal with the emeralds?" Renesme asked.
I smirked as I confessed, "Emmaline has these gorgeous Hazel eyes, and when she wears green it makes the natural green in her eyes stand out beautifully, also she was wearing a green dress when I first met her as well as our first date."
Renesme looked like she was resisting the urge to say 'aww.'
The saleswoman gift wrapped the necklace but I decided to carry the ring box out in my pocket, I'm sure that's where it'll stay until I decide to propose, even if that's years from now.
Afterward I dropped Nessie off and then headed back to Emmaline's house.
I took the perfectly made up bag that held the necklace and made way inside, I found a now adorably pajama clad Emmaline in the family room getting everything ready.
"Hey sugar," she said as she padded over in her socks and I bent down so she could reach me lips, she didn't disappoint. "And what is this?"
I smiled and held the bag out of her reach, "this is your Christmas gift so it isn't to be opened until Christmas morning."
She pouted, "fine, let's go and decorated the tree." She said excitedly.
It turned out that she had already strung up the lights all we had to do was hang the glass fixtures, I knew from experience to just put things where I was told to put them.
But Emmaline insisted to let me have range, in the end the large tree was filled to the brim with glass ornaments and porcelain baubles, ribbons and even couple of old handcrafted ornaments.
"Do you wanna put the angel on top?" She asked, "I can go and grab the ladder."
"Or I can just pick you up and you can put it on." I suggested, she smiled and I knew she had agreed.
I lifted her up with ease and she placed the angel right on the top, I brought her back down and kissed her nose before we took a step back to look at our hard work.
"Perfect." She said of the tree.
"Perfect," I answered in response to the entire moment.
