There is a little girl sitting in her living room. In front of her lies her figurines that her father bought her when she was younger. They are so organized that you would almost think that they were in battle formation. After she put her final piece into play she turned around to show her parents, only to see her world shatter. There were two strange men, one per parent, that had long sword with red on them. The taller of the two noticed the girl and her tiny figurines. He smirked and said, "Nice formation kid, but I would put the archers in the back, not the middle." They stood there for a moment, the girl staring at her parent's murderers and they at her. Alice said "You should leave now while you still can, I know where my father keeps his swords!" They just laughed and waved their swords as they said, "Foolish girl, didn't you see what we just did to your parents? Do you know how easy it would to end you, too?" She was so enraged by this that she decided that it would be too kind to use one of her father's swords. Instead, she decided to summon her own blade, the Dagger of Insanity. The attackers laughed and said, "What will a toothpick like that do to us? Even though we would love to see what a pipsqueak like you do, we were only paid to take care of those two," they swipe their blades toward her parents, "and we don't do anything free of charge soooo." Before they completed their sentence Alice threw her dagger at the taller of the two, but before the blade met its mark they disappeared in a fit of laughter. Instead of crying like she wanted to Alice trudged over to what remained of her parents and curled up into a ball. And then it hit her.

After what seemed like days her uncle, Chaos, showed up to the scene. When he saw his sister's body he rushed over to it, and almost tripped over Alice's body. He pulled her up by the shoulders and shook her once. She raised her dead, red eyes to his and said, "They're gone, and it's all my fault." He dropped her, walked away in horror, and said, "You? You did this?!" She didn't seem to notice, for she continued with, "It's all my fault." Chaos composed himself, then said, "Then for this, you will pay. Your punishment will be spending the rest of your life in the prison of the mortal realm!" Alice seemed to realize what was going on and started to tell her uncle of her innocence, but before she could do anything she was gone.

The first thing Alice saw when she woke up was another pair of eyes filled worry and fear. The owner of these eyes said in a kind voice, "Hello dear, are you feeling alright?" Alice tried to get up, but she couldn't. The kind lady seemed to notice her struggle and said, "Would you like something to eat, darling?" Alice opened her mouth -noticing for the first time how hungry she was- to respond, but the words wouldn't come out. So instead she nodded, hoping that would be enough. The lady smiled, patted Alice's hand, then left. The events of the day pulled on her, and Alice fell asleep.

Alice was woken up by a rough voice saying, "Look at the fresh meat!" That rough comment was followed by a round of laughter. At that Alice opened her eyes. The owner of the voice was easily the biggest kid in the room. He laughed a nervous laugh and said, "Look at her eyes, what a freak!" What he was committing on was the fact that Alice's eyes were a shade of ruby-red. Little did they know, that was the source of her power. And if they had known what that power was, they would of said nothing. When Alice heard this her voice came back to her and she said, "My eyes may be red, but at least I have them." At this the ring leader said, "What do you mean?" And that's when it happened.

Alice has the ability to make someone's worst fear become their reality, and she is also able to make people see things that aren't really there. Before Benny -the ring leader- finished his sentence Alice already started to press on his mind. When she was finished with him he was screaming and running out the door. After a moment of hesitation the rest of the boys ran out, too. When the kind lady came back, she wasn't alone.

The man looked at Alice's eyes for a moment before the kind lady cleared her throat, and then the questions began. "It says here that miss-" started the man. "Kinsey," the kind lady intercepted with. "Well, miss Kinsey here found you and brought you here." Alice tilted her head and said, "She did? Well I'm thankful for it if that is true." The man cleared his throat, then said, "Well, yes. Though we need to know one thing before we can continue things-" This time Alice interrupted with, "Where exactly am I sir?" The man and kind lady looked at each other, then the kind lady said, "Umm, well you see. You're in an orphanage, Alice. I'm sorry to ask, but we need to know where your parents are before we do anything else. Alice blinked once then said, "They're gone."
