Athena's P.O.V.

The werewolves and I ran through Seabrook Power  trying to find the moonstone. I jumped as the alarm went off.

"We triggered the alarm, hurry!" Willa said as we all ran faster.

Lights came on and we were stopped by men in suits and trucks. I watched as my Dad came out.

"Wolves! Freeze where you are!" Dad told us.

Me and my packmates snarled at them as they blocked every way of escaping.

"You're trespassing, werewolves." Dad shouted.

I growled as my wolf instincts kicked in full effect.

"How can we be trespassing on our own land?" Wyatt asked.

"This is werewolf territory!" Wynter added.

"I don't know anything about that." he replied. It was then he looked at me with wide eyes.

"Athena?" I froze as I looked at him. "What happened to you?"

"I found where I belong."

"This is unacceptable! I will not have a monster as my child! As far as I'm concerned, you are no longer my child!" he yelled, which made me freeze before I glared at him.

"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" Wyatt yelled, basically going into overprotective brother mode.

"We can take them!" Willa said before we all snarled and went into werewolf mode.

Willa: Hear it getting louder, a call for revolution
Yeah, we came for what was ours, it's time for restitution

Athena: We'll protect our own, take back the stone
No, human nature cannot hold us down

Wyatt: Stranded at the bottom, but we're more than a whisper

I snarled with the wolves as we got ready to fight off the workers and Z-patrol. "Arrest them!" Dad ordered.

We were soon sprayed with some silver-type mist and I coughed a it entered my eyes and I was cuffed up. Wynter growled and tried to get to me, but the officers shoved us all together. I was separated from my mate.

"Demo time! Everybody clear out!" a Zevon ordered.

We all struggled to get free, but it was no use. I looked at Wynter, who had tears in her eyes as our eyes met.

"I failed you. They'll destroy the moonstone. They'll destroy us." Willa said.

"No!" I heard someone shout.

I turned and smiled as I saw my sister here with the cheerleaders!

"Addison?" Zevon and Dad asked.

Addison: The world has gone crazy

I smiled as I saw Zed appear from the crowd of zombies.

Zed: History changes, but we lost the pages we wrote
When you lose direction

We came from the bottom then became the problem

"You've got to stop the demolition, Dad. I know how hard you worked to get this job. But, if it's gonna hurt the werewolves, you need to stop it." Zed pleaded.

My packmates and I looked at each other before I turned my attention to Zed and Zevon.

"You're right. Shut it down. Stop the denotation. Tomorrow, when it's safe, you'll find what you're looking for, but right now, all go home!" Zevon announced.

"Yes! Whoo!" I shouted as the werewolves, cheerleaders, and zombies all cheered.

I got un-cuffed and was pulled into a hug by Wynter. I hugged her back before we kissed passionately.

When we pulled away, Wyatt picked me up and spun me around. I laughed before the werewolf I now considered an older brother set me down. I looked at Willa and she hugged me tightly as we celebrated. She howled before we all did.

"We did it! We're gonna get the moonstone back!" I exclaimed as Wesley and Waverly came and hugged me.

I was now practically best friends with all four of them, besides my mate.

"Come on!" Willa said as everybody ran out.

I grabbed Wynter's hand and we ran out until we got outside.

I went to my sister and she squealed, hugging me tightly.

"Thanks for helping us, sis!" I told her. "Ride or die, remember?" she asked. I laughed and nodded before hugging her again.

"We did it! We stopped the demo!" Addison said.

Zed looked down and I could tell something wasn't right.

"What's wrong?" she asked her boyfriend as I went to the wolves.

"I'm going to lose the election. Which means I can't take you to Prawn." he explained. Addison shook her head with a smile. "That's okay, Zed. We cannot go to the Prawn together."

He looked at the four of us and I sent him a warm smile, snuggling close to my mate.

Zed took something out of his pocket and I looked, seeing it was Addison's moonstone necklace.

"He found it!" Addison said happily.

I gasped, a smile forming on my face as me and Wynter grabbed each other's hands excitedly.

Addison hugged him, but he didn't really hug her back. What was wrong?

"What?" she asked.

"I took it. I stole it when you weren't looking." he confessed.

He did what now? Did he really try and stop her from joining me in the pack?

"I thought I lost it. I questioned myself." she replied.

"Addison, I'm sorry. I was afraid that if you turned into a wolf, I'd lose you." he explained.

"You don't get to make that choice for me!" Addison argued.

At this point, I could feel my inner wolf scratching to lash out on my best friend. How dare he do this to my sister?! After all she's done for him?

"But, a werewolf?" he argued back.

"I finally find where I belong and you try to steal that from me?! Why would I ever go to the Prawn with you after what you did?" Addison asked.

She turned around angrily and put the necklace on. I waited with the pack as hope filled me. Maybe we have found our leader.

My sister turned around as if she was about to pounce and I froze.

Nothing happened to her. She wasn't a werewolf after all. My sister wasn't going to be with me in the pack.

"Am I?" she asked.

I let go of Wynter's hand and walked to Addison. I placed a hand on her cheek, her putting her own over it.

"You're beautiful, Addi. But, you're still the same beautiful you've always been." I explained.

She looked down with sadness etched on her face and I felt my own eyes tearing up. Were we really going to be separated now?

"She's not a werewolf." Wyatt said, his voice threatening to crack.

"Boss! Boss! We got a problem!" one of the workers came running in.

"What?" Zevon asked.

"The remote shorted out and now the detonation timer's running!" the worker exclaimed as he tried to stop it.

"Oh, no!" Zed's dad said before we all ran, realization hitting me like a fray train.

We arrived to see the power plant exploding and I gasped, seeing it crumble down.

"What have they done?" Willa asked.

I began coughing as my necklace went green and so did the others. I nearly fell, but Wynter helped me get up as I wrapped an arm around my mate, trying to keep her up as well.

Addison gave the necklace back to Willa before me and the wolves went to go back to the den.

The moonstone was destroyed. My sister wasn't the Great Alpha. I would die, along with my mate and my pack.

All hope was lost for us.
