Akane woke to a loud yell from in the hallway "WAKE UP GIRLS" groaning Akane covered her ears with her pillow "WAKE UP" Akane shot out of bed "Kagome make your grandfather shut up" Akane whined but Kagome was nowhere to be seen 'hmm? That's strange maybe she's in the bathroom' Akane thought getting up and walking down the stairs "finally your up" Kagome's grandfather sighed "yeah... Hey where's Kagome?" Akane asked once she noticed Kagome wasn't at the table "she's out for a while" her mother said "where's my parents?" Akane looked confused as to where everyone was disappearing to "your father is gone to work again... And your mother she found a job here" Kagome's mother smiled 'WHAT?! I'm not staying here so why did she get a job' Akane looked disappointed "I'm not hungry" Akane sighed walking up to the room to change.

When Akane got to the room she found Kagome there "KAGOME" Akane screamed making Kagome jump 5ft in the air "geez Akane give me a heart attack" Kagome sighed covering her heart "where the hell have you been? Your mother said you were out but I didn't see you walk in through the door what did you do come in through the window?" Akane asked crossing her arms "haha Akane your losing it I did come in through the door you just never noticed me because you were to busy talking to my mom" Kagome laughed "I guess not getting enough sleep is affecting me" Akane sighed sitting on her bed "you slept good last night" Kagome said "speaking of last night... That woman she seemed like she knew my dad really good... Could she be trying something?" Akane sighed looking frustrated "eh? Akane your dad loves your mother and he loves you as well so if she did try something he'll just get up and leave so stop thinking like that" Kagome scolded Akane and slapped her in the head "aww Kagome why did you hit me?" Akane whined rubbing her now sore head. Kagome laughed "fun" she said, Akane sighed "haha that was so much fun too" Akane roiled her eyes "for me it was" Kagome smiled "not for me" Akane whined getting her clothes from the dresser "hey I have something for you its traditional clothes mom wanted me and you to wear one each for the festival today" Kagome smiled as she handed Akane a red and black kimono "oh it pretty" Akane wondered in amazement over the kimono "ok I'll change now" Akane said grabbing the kimono and walking to the bathroom. When Akane walked out of the bathroom Kagome was surprised to see that Akane actually knew how to put on the kimono "why so shocked cous?" Akane asked smiling "I didn't think you could put it on the right way" Kagome said truthfully "that was mean... Anyway you look stunning in yours" Akane clapped her hands together and tilted her head to the side admiring how Kagome looked "shut out Akane you look amazing bet all the boys be after you in your place" Kagome laughed, Akane huffed "Kagome~ that's mean" Akane whined with a pout "haha come on I want to do your hair" Kagome grabbed Akane and dragged her to her room so she can do Akane's hair.

Kagome marbled in wonder at her masterpiece "and to top it off here" Kagome had put a flower clip in Akane's hair that had beads on it pinned gracefully to hold the hair along with a little ponytail "you look beautiful Akane" Kagome smiled, Akane looked in the mirror and gasped "I love it" Akane squealed a spin around, Kagome giggled "ok my turn for you" Akane said sitting Kagome down on the chair so she can do Kagome's hair.

Akane looked at her masterpiece and snapped her fingers "there je suis fini" (I'm done) Akane smiled at the braid on top of her head as Kagome's hair flowed down in little curls "oh my it's beautiful Akane" Kagome squealed as she looked in the mirror "are you... Wow" Kagome's mother smiled at the two beautiful girls in front of her "you two look stunning" she smiled "thanks" Kagome and Akane smiled "are you ready" she asked "yup" they said walking out the room door but Akane grabbed her phone so she could take pictures and her little purse so she can buy Lisa a little something "Akane your mother and father will met us there later tonight" Kagome's mother said "ok" Akane smiled as they all walked down to the streets.

Akane and Kagome were having fun playing the different games that was out and even enjoying the food "Kagome what's that?" Akane asked pointing to a stall that had a few cool looking things on it "oh that's just a stall where you can by little things" Kagome said looking at it, Akane smiled and grabbed Kagome's hand walking towards the stall. Akane looked at all the different items that was there but one impartially caught her attention was a katana style hair pin that was pale green with polymer clay blossom flower and fan "look this is beautiful" Akane said pointing to the hair pin "wow" Kagome marbled over it then a few more things caught both the girls attention. One being another katana style hair pin with a Maneki Neko and fan, another was Cherry Blossom Earrings that was in Bronze. Akane looked at Kagome who nodded encouraging her to buy the things, Akane took Kagome's advice and bought the three things she found beautiful.

Walking around the streets Kagome and Akane met up with Sōta and his little friends "hey Sōta" Akane waved and smiled "AKANE" Sōta yelled hugging her "geez I wasn't gone for that long" Akane giggled hugging him back "geez what am I last weeks dinner" Kagome huffed Akane and Sōta laughed and hugged her "happy now mrs pouty pants" Akane giggled "yes very" Kagome smiled. Akane and Kagome walked around with Sōta to find their families Kagome found her mother and grandfather but Akane couldn't find her parents, and it was getting late "hey aunt where's mom and dad?" Akane asked Kagome's mother "they said they would be here around 9" Kagome mother sighed looking at the clock "it's 8:30 now" Akane looked disappointed but soon she heard her father's and mother's voice yell out to her "Akane sorry we're late" her mother smiled at her "mom" Akane hugged her "what's wrong Akane?" Her father asked "nothing I was just disappointed that you might not make it" Akane smiled at her father who smiled back at her "we made it in time too" he said as they walked back to where Kagome and her family was.

Kagome and Akane watched the sky light up with fireworks of different colours and designs it was truly amazing and Akane loved it all she smiled the whole time knowing she had her cousin and her family here and also Akane's own mother and father here too nothing could make her any happier.

Kagome and Akane walked back to the shrine with a few little things like the things Akane bought, she went and bought a fan and a few more things along with some sweets. Kagome teased Akane about being broke and fat if she keeps this up but Akane pointed out that Kagome bought just as much as she did.

Akane walked up to Kagome's room wheel Kagome was in the bathroom, when Akane walked in a silver haired boy with dog ears was sitting on the floor in a weird way "AHHH" Akane screamed grabbing the closest thing to her which was sadly for the boy a baseball bat "KAGOME" Akane yelled hitting the boy again and again "ah stop that" the boy said trying to dodge the baseball bat but failed "Akane what's- INUYASHA" Kagome screamed seeing Inuyasha being bet to death by her cousin "Kagome make her stop" Inuyasha whined "HOW DO YOU KNOW MY COUSIN? ARE YOU A STALKER" Akane screamed with and angry face "Akane please stop" Kagome said sighing, Akane stopped and looked at Kagome with the baseball bat stopped mid air as Inuyasha was on his butt with one arm supporting him and the other up in the air protecting himself from Akane's blows to the head "why?" Akane asked "because I know him he's not a stalker" Kagome sighed, Akane looked at her then to Inuyasha "oh my god is he the guy you-" Akane was cut off by Kagome covering her mouth with her hand. Kagome removed her hand and Akane put the bat down "so his name is Inuyasha? He looks funny where's ya from Inuyasha" Akane asked smiling "you're scary at first then you become a sweet little girl... Your mood swings are worst then Kagome's" Inuyasha sighed, Akane's eyes twitched "what did you just say?" Both Akane and Kagome asked with a scary face "eh? Sorry" Inuyasha said afraid of being hit by Akane with the baseball bat again and Kagome saying 'sit boy' "ok so where ya from" Akane asked "feu-" Kagome tackled him covering his mouth "what the hell Kagome save this stuff for when I'm gone" Akane teased both of them making their faces go red "AKANE" Kagome yelled getting of of Inuyasha "why did you tackle me Kagome" Inuyasha asked annoyed "what was you going to say" Akane asked getting up in Inuyasha's face "I'm from feudal Japan" Inuyasha said looking away because Akane was too close "what?" Akane laughed "your funny really where are you from" Akane giggled "no Akane he's telling the truth" Kagome sighed, Akane dropped her jaw "what?" Akane asked stunned "well it's a lot to explain" Kagome sighed, Akane looked over at Inuyasha who just nodded his head with his arms crossed.

Akane stared at Kagome "ok well on my 15th birthday I was pulled down our well that's in the shrine by a lady centipede... I found myself in feudal Japan... I was captured and they thought I was a demon but I was proved I wasn't... Then I released Inuyasha for a seal that this girl Kikyo put on him that sealed him to a tree... I broke the jewel of four souls... Met new friends... Even a man named Naraku who wants all the jewel shards so he can become stronger... He's also a half demon like Inuyasha... I also met Inuyasha's brother Sesshōmaru, not the guy you want to piss off, now we're trying to get all the jewels back before Naraku can get them all" Kagome explained to Akane who just looked at her like she was crazy "yeah and I'm the tooth fairy" Akane sighed "I know it sounds unreal but it is true" Kagome said looking at Akane with a serious face "holy shit you aren't kidding" Akane said stunned and then looked over at Inuyasha "so that means I just bet a bloody half demon with a baseball bat... YES LIFE GOAL COMPLETE" Akane squealed jumping up and doing a dance making Inuyasha look at her with a what-the-hell-are-you-doing-face "so you believe me?" Kagome asked "yes can I go with you?" Akane asked giving her the puppy dog look "what about your mother and father" Kagome asked "we're not leaving until another month... Plus your mom can help us out she knows where you go to anyway" Akane smiled, Kagome looked shocked "how did-" "I know? Well she almost told on you once" Akane laughed as Kagome sighed "fine you can go" Kagome said Akane smiled "yes" she squealed hugging Kagome. Akane looked over at Inuyasha "so is it ok if I go?" Akane asked him making both Inuyasha and Kagome to look shock at her "why did you ask me Kagome said yes" Inuyasha huffed "I know but your also part of this and I wouldn't want to go and then you complain about how I only asked Kagome and never asked you" Akane smiled at him "well since you asked me as will I'll say sure you can go" Inuyasha sighed "yay thank you" Akane smiled and hugged him "w-what are you doing" Inuyasha asked shocked "hugging you silly" Akane giggled, Inuyasha sighed and hugged her back "Awww" Kagome smiled laughing "my two friends are getting along" Kagome giggled as Akane moved from Inuyasha and tackled Kagome "honey I'm yo cousin... No starch that I'm yo other half" Akane giggled as Kagome laughed at her.

Akane talked to Inuyasha and Kagome about the feudal era and what she should and shouldn't do there "well for starters don't get yourself kidnapped" Inuyasha sighed "noted" Akane nodded "also if you met Sesshōmaru do not make him mad" Kagome said, Akane nodded a little frighten "also try not to get yourself killed by a demon" Inuyasha said, Akane gulped "seems you guys are telling me the bad things about this" Akane sighed "it's for your own good" Inuyasha huffed "ok ok geez" Akane smiled "so when we leave?" She asked "tomorrow morning" Kagome smiled "ok" Akane got up and went to the dresser to get herself some night clothes and walked to the bathroom to change.

Akane walked out and back to Kagome's room "is there anything I have to know?" Akane asked "yes you might be wearing those traditional clothes if Kaede makes you" Kagome said, Akane sighed "no way" Akane said huffing "yup" Inuyasha said, Akane flopped on her bed "I don't like those clothes" Akane whined "why" Kagome asked "because it feels to breezy" Akane giggled, Kagome and Inuyasha laughed at her "whatever I'll put up with it" Akane said cuddling into the bed "night" Akane said closing her eyes "goodnight" Kagome smiled "time to go Inuyasha I'll see the others and you tomorrow ok" Kagome smiled at him "ok" Inuyasha said before jumping out the window. Kagome laid in her bed after changing her clothes "you know if you like him tell him" Akane said getting up in her bed "Akane your up" Kagome asked "yeah you make it to obvious that you like him" Akane smiled "shut up Akane and go to sleep" Kagome said lying down and covering up "ok" Akane sighed lying down, covering up, and falling asleep.
