Akane woke to starching on the door, Akane groaned and threw her pillow at Kagome "GET THAT CAT TO STOP" Akane yelled rolling over but being close to the edge she fell of the bed "OOFF" Akane fell between her bed and the dresser "Akane are... Heh... You ok" Kagome asked holding in her laughter "no the dressers nob is driving up in my back" Akane groaned getting up. Kagome laughed at her as the cats starching stopped at the door "finally now I can go back to sleep" Akane sighed getting back in the bed "why it's like 10 o'clock now time to get up" Kagome said searching then getting up and throwing Akane her pillow she threw at her, "WHAT?!" Akane screamed burying her face in her pillow "come on if you don't get up I'm gonna get grandfather" Kagome smiled "you wouldn't" Akane said turning her head to face Kagome "we both know I would" Kagome smiled "fine I'm getting up" Akane sighed as she got up. Both the girls got their clothes ready "you go first" Kagome said, Akane nodded and walked out of the room to the bathroom to get in the shower and to get ready.

Kagome was putting the bed in the corner when Inuyasha popped in again "inuyasha get out she'll see you" Kagome sighed sitting on her bed "yeah about that" inuyasha sighed starching the back of his head "what do you mean" Kagome asked "she might have seen me last night when I was going back to the well shire" inuyasha explained, Kagome got a teck mark on her forehead "what?" Kagome asked calmly but showed no sign of being calm "she was up and I was looking for something I lost here that day" inuyasha said a bit nervously "HEY KAGOME" Kagome jumped from her spot on the bed and pushed inuyasha out the window closing it just as Akane walked in "its your turn" Akane smiled "hmm? What's wrong it looks like you've seen a ghost" Akane asked concerned as she see Kagome with a white face "eh? Oh no I'll go get ready then" Kagome smiled and walked out the room "okie dokie" Akane laughed.

Akane and Kagome walked down to the kitchen just to see a table full of food "hmm? Did you make all of this aunt Higurashi?" Akane asked sitting down at the table "yes she did you should thank her" grandpa Higurashi scolded Akane for the second time since she came here "ah? Yes thank you aunt Higurashi" Akane sweated nervously "grandpa stop scaring Akane" Kagome sighed "she needs to learn her manners... Maybe you should take her with you to feu-""GRANDPA" Kagome yelled kicking him under the table "hmm? Feu? Is that a new thing here?" Akane looked so confused where as she wasn't paying attention because she was stuffing her face with food "haha yeah it's a new thing here but it's for the older generation" Kagome laughed. Akane looked at her with a confused look then shrugged it off as she went back to eating her food.

Akane and Kagome talked and ate as Akane's parents walked in the kitchen "oh your up early Akane" her mother kissed her and walked next to her, sitting in the empty seat next to Akane "yeah Buyo woke me up" Akane sighed as Kagome laughed at her "don't laugh oh Kagome can I ask you something after breakfast?" Akane asked "hmm? Sure" Kagome said, the girls then ate their food.

Akane and Kagome walked back to the room "so what did you wanted to ask me?" Kagome asked "do you have a boyfriend?" Akane wiggled her eyebrows "WHAT?! NO!" Kagome yelled in Akane's face "geez I only asked this because last night is seen a boy with silver hair run from the roof to only disappear after I rubbed my eyes... Then again I was tired so it could have been just my imagination" Akane sighed sitting on the floor "yeah your imagination is getting the best of you Akane" Kagome giggled as she sat on her bed "oh I mean if you have a boyfriend tell me maybe he has a friend and he could hook me up with him... OMG then we can go on double dates and stuff" Akane and Kagome laughed "trust me I would never leave you out" Kagome giggled "good because if I finds out your dating and you never told me I'll be upset" Akane made a puppy dog face. "AKANE ME AND YOUR MOTHER ARE GOING TO SEE WHAT MY NEW JOB IS LIKE WE'LL BE BACK IN A FEW HOURS" Akane's dad yelled "OK" Akane yelled back "so is there even a guy you like?" Akane asked Kagome "well... No" Kagome looked away "OMG THERE IS" Akane giggled "come on now you have to tell me" Akane said smiling "fine I like him it's just he likes another girl but she called it off along time ago-" "so he's still likes her... What a jerk" Akane huffed crossing his arms "no he's actually really nice once you get to know him... He's like a little puppy dog... Although he can be dangerous at times but he still wouldn't hurt someone that didn't deserve to get hurt" Kagome went on "oh dear lord Kagome I'm afraid you have a sickness" Akane said seriously "what?" Kagome asked "your sickness is... LOVE~" Akane teased Kagome "Akane~" Kagome whined "haha sorry but it seems like he's a good guy for you... Just tell him how you feel if he doesn't return the feelings then at least you tried and you won't have to go about your life thinking what could have been if you didn't try so go for it Kagome" Akane gave her support "thanks Akane but I doubt I will" Kagome sighed "I could always help" Akane wiggled her eyebrows smirking "NO WAY" Kagome yelled making Akane laugh "fine fine" Akane sighed as they got up and walked to the living room to watch a movie.

Akane and Kagome were debating on what kind of movie to watch "scary" Akane protested "no romance" Kagome huffed "I'm the guest here" Akane played the I'm-the-guest-card "fine scary it is" Kagome sighed "YES" Akane jumped and done her victory dance "what movie do you want to watch?" Kagome asked rolling her eyes "scream" Akane smiled "holy no way man" Kagome jumped up and pointed a finger at Akane "please I won" Akane pouted "fine I guess we'll watch that movie then" Kagome sighed getting the movie and putting it in the DVD player "if I has a heart attack and dies I'm coming back and haunting you ok" Kagome sighed sitting on the couch with a blanket "ok" Akane laughed as the movie started and Akane sat on the floor leaning her arm on the couch and leaning back.

Kagome had the blanket over her face for one half of the movie where as the other half she was a jumping mess and Akane was laughing at Kagome "DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE" Kagome yelled as Akane died from laugher "DO NOT OPEN THAT DOOR" Kagome yelled "LOOK I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THIS STUFF" Kagome screamed Akane was gasping for air as she was laughing so hard at Kagome.

By the end of the movie there was popcorn everywhere due to Kagome kicking it over when she jumped "Kagome we have to clean this mess up" Akane whined "fine I'll go get the broom" Kagome got up and walked to the closet door to get the broom. When Kagome got to the closet she seen Inuyasha there "Inuyasha" Kagome whispered/yelled "hmm? Hey Kagome when are you coming back?" Inuyasha asked "whenever they leave now go before she sees you" Kagome pushed him to her room and to the window "I think she might have seen me last night" Inuyasha said rubbing his head "yeah she told me but I told her it was her imagination due to her being over tired... But if she catches you now I don't know how I would play it off so leave" Kagome pushed him out the window "fine" Inuyasha huffed jumping out and on the ground. Kagome sighed and walked back with the broom in her hand "what took you so long?" Akane asked as she gave the blanket a good shake to make any unnecessary popcorn fall out of it "oh I was having trouble getting the broom out" Kagome laughed "really?" Akane laughed "yes" Kagome giggled "haha good one" Akane laughed as they cleaned the mess they... I mean Kagome made.

Akane was in the kitchen getting a snack while Kagome was in the living room crying over a romantic movie she put on "Akane and Kagome we're home" Akane's mother and Kagome's mother said as they walked in "ank oodness" (thank goodness) Akane mumbled as she had a carrot stick in her mouth "how was yours and Kagome's day?" Kagome's mother asked smiling "good we made a mess... No starch that Kagome made a mess due to her jumping out of her skin over a scary movie" Akane giggled "where's Kagome now?" Akane's mother asked "in the living room crying over a movie" Akane sighed as she ate her fruit and vegetable tray she made while sitting at the table "where's dad?" Akane asked "he is talking with his boss so me and sis here left to come back and make sure you and Kagome didn't make a white wedding again" Akane's mother and Kagome's mother laughed "mom~" Akane whined as Kagome walked in "that was when we were only 4 years old it's in the past" Kagome sighed as she sat down across from Akane and they shared the fruit and vegetable tray Akane made. "I can remember it like it was yesterday" Akane's mother smiled as Kagome and Akane sighed putting their arm on the table and leaning in their hand "yes we were all out here in the kitchen and you could smell baby powders... Your husband thought you were going crazy... But we all went to the back room that is the guest room now and found you and Kagome covered in baby powders with baby powders everywhere" Kagome's mother laughed "yes and we told them to go set on the couch... When they did Akane looked over to Kagome with her arms crossed and said "Kagome now we can't have our white wedding"" Akane's mother laughed as Kagome and Akane huffed "mom~" both Akane and Kagome whined but their mothers just laughed and kissed them on the forehead.

Akane and Kagome went upstairs after eating their food and putting the dishes in the sink "I can't believe we did that" Akane giggled "I know we had so much fun whenever we were together" Kagome laughed "I know do you remember that time we played a prank on your grandfather" Akane giggled "how can I forget he was so mad at us that he made us clean the house and the gardens also the whole shrine" Kagome laughed as she sat on her bed "jeez I think that was the first time I ever cleaned anything" Akane said sitting on Kagome's desk chair "we didn't even clean that good all we did was walked in and walk out as if we did some work" Kagome sighed "yeah that caused us to be watched by your grandfather whenever he wanted us to clean something for him" Akane huffed but managed to shuffle out a laugh. Kagome and Akane talked for hours on end just about the randomness things and about their past "I heard that you could be moving back here" Kagome said "yeah you brought this up before but I'm still thinking about it... I wants to but I don't want to" Akane sighed "I know it's hard leaving the friends you have back there to come live in a place that you only ever visit is in the summer or whenever you can and yes I know I brought this up before" Kagome smiled at Akane "yeah... I'll miss Lisa if I do move" Akane sighed lying on the floor "yeah I know it's hard but I'll help you out if you do move back here" Kagome smiled, Akane laughed "if anything I'll be helping you with your math" Akane giggled as Kagome got a gloomy look "geez thanks for reminding me Akane" Kagome sighed "no problem" Akane giggled "AKANE, KAGOME SUPERS READY" Kagome's mother yelled from the kitchen "OK" both girls yelled getting up and walking down to the kitchen.

Akane noticed that her dad wasn't there "mom where's dad" Akane asked with concern "oh his boss wanted him to work tonight, his break is in another hour so I'll have to go give him his food" Akane's mother said "can I go instead" Akane asked, her mother nodded with a smile "sure I'll give you directions" she said "I'll help" Kagome smiled "ok" Akane's mother nodded. The rest of the dinner was quiet.

After Akane and Kagome help wash the dishes they went to the room for a little bit before Akane and Kagome went to give Akane's father his super "Akane Kagome it's time to go" Akane's mother called from the door "ok" the girls got up and walked down to the door Akane took the food from her mother and put her shoes on, her mother gave Kagome and Akane the directions to Akane's fathers workplace "ok bye see ya in a little bit" Akane said as she and Kagome walked out the door.

The night was cool and the wind was not cold but it wasn't hot either it was just right "maybe we'll run into this guy you like" Akane teased Kagome as they walked "Akane~" Kagome whined as Akane laughed at her "ok maybe we won't" Akane giggled as they walked the streets and talked about more things.

Akane and Kagome made it to Akane's fathers workplace "umm? Hi is my dad in there" Akane asked a woman as she walked out "hmm? What's his name" she asked "mr. Raiders" Akane said "oh he's in the break room I'll show you to him" the woman smiled as she walked to the break room with Akane and Kagome following behind her. They walked in the break room to see Akane's dad there laughing with the others "dad" Akane smiled as she walked up to him and handed him his food "thank you did your mother pack the food?" He asked "yes" Akane sighed remembering that last time when she packed his food... Let's just say everything was a mess... He laughed and rubbed her hair "I'll see you tomorrow" he said "ok bye" Akane and Kagome walked out of the room and out the building. They walked back to the house.

Akane flopped on her bed and Kagome flopped on hers "I think we should get some sleep" Kagome mumbled in the pillow but got up to find Akane already asleep "night Akane" Kagome covered Akane up as she herself went to change. After changing Kagome went to bed.
