Prologue
"Rosie, I need to tell you something." She was trembling.
"Did someone hire you to shoot me?" I laughed.
"Rosa, it's kinda serious."
She rarely used my name.
"Okay, tell me." I softened my voice.
She gave me a very strange look. "It's kinda hard to explain."
"Can you show me?"
"I don't know if you want me to."
"We're best friends, you can tell me or show me anything."
She looked towards the ground. When she looked back up at me it looked like she was building confidence.
Then her lips were on mine.
I gasped. My body and my brain were no longer connected.
My hands ran through her long hair.
No this is wrong.
My arms pulled her closer, she was straddling me now.
Rosa stop it.
My lips parted slightly.
You were raised better than this.
My arms kept pulling, needing to be closer.
Stop it.
A hand moved, tracing down her body.
Monster.
My hips shifted on the bed, spinning us around.
You're a disgrace.
My arms pulled her off of my lap, setting her down on the bed. I was hovering over her, propped up by my elbows.
This is disgusting. Stop before you do something you'll regret.
I pushed her away from me. "I- stop."
She looked up at me with fear in her eyes. She was laying on her back, her legs slightly spread apart, he skirt had ridden up and her shirt was twisted. I could see her undergarments.
She looked vulnerable. Something almost feral came over me.
"What's wrong?" She moved to sit up. I pushed her back down.
"Nothing."
My lips met hers once again. The thoughts came back.
The intense heat between my legs quieted them.
I pulled her shirt off. She shifted foreword so my thigh was in between her legs.
I grabbed her hips to stop them from moving.
Maybe I was grabbing them too hard, but she didn't stop kissing me, and her light whimpers did something to me.
The door opened. I was grabbed my my hair and pulled away.
She screamed.
My fathers cold eyes met mine.
...
I am very exited for this book.
It kinda hurts putting Rosa through this pain. I love her.
