10 months later,
The day of the entrance exam,
Early morning,
At the beach...
Third Person's POV
All Might -- in his deflated form -- got out of the truck, making his way toward the beach where he had trained Midoriya for the past 10 months. A girl's holler suddenly echoed in the quiet, breezy morning, catching the Symbol of Peace's attention. He quickened his pace and in an instant, his blue eyes widened in awe. The green girl was standing on a very top of the pile of trashes!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled from the top of her lungs, her body was all sweaty from the trainings she went through. "Hey hey hey..." All Might murmured.
"She even cleaned outside of where I told her to! Seriously?! There is not even a speck of dust left! Seriously?!" All Might exclaimed in extreme shock. "This is more than perfect! Oh my... Oh my... GOODNESS!" All Might transformed into his muscular form, smiling proudly at Midoriya.
Midoriya's body swung back and forth before she fell from the top. Luckily, All Might managed to catch her just in the nick of time. He held her in his muscular arms, a wide smile plastered on his face. "Good work, young lady." He said to the tired girl.
"All Might... I did it... I did it!" Midoriya uttered through her ragged breath, same as All Might, she was smiling genuinely. "Yeah, you surprised me, you entertainer! Teenagers are amazing!" The blonde man put her down and helped her balancing herself.
All Might took out his phone and showed a picture of Midoriya from 10 months ago. "Here, take a look." All Might muttered. She raised her head up and scanned the photo. It was a photo of her, still skinny and was crying profusely. "This is..."
"It is you, ten months ago. You did good. You really did! And now you are a suitable vessel to inherit One For All!" All Might praised his mentee, feeling very content and satisfied with the result of the intense training.
Midoriya stared at her hand, smiling weakly. "I feel like I'm cheating... You did all this for me... I'm too blessed..." She said feeling very grateful, tears leaking out of her emerald gem eyes. All Might laughed it off and patted her back gently.
"We will have to fix those leaky eyes of yours. Now! It is time for the award ceremony, Izuku Midoriya!" All Might spoke up, pulling a strand of his golden hair. "Yes, sir!" Midoriya wiped off her tears and straightened herself up.
"This is something I was told long time ago; "Something that you received because you are lucky and something that you are given because you are recognized are different in essence." Take that to heart, young lady. This is the power that you earned because of your own effort." All Might said, hitting Midoriya with a rush of realization. She nodded her head lightly.
All Might held out the strand of his hair to the greenette. "Eat this." He muttered with straight face. "Huh?"
"It doesn't really matter what it is as long as you take in my DNA." The Number One Hero sheepishly exclaimed. "But this is too different from what I imagined!" Midoriya's jaw dropped to the floor, shook up by this. "Now, don't waste any time and eat this! You will be late for the exam! Come, come, come!" All Might ignored her comment, shoving the hair into her face while the green teenage girl screamed in despair, forcefully swallowed her idol's hair...

(~Timeskip to a few days later after the entrance exam cuz I'm too lazy to write~)
A few days later,
Midoriya's residence,
Nighttime,
After receiving the letter from U.A....
Midoriya's POV
I slowly opened the door and saw Mom walking around in circle worriedly. Her track stopped when she saw me. "I-Izuku, how is it?" She asked me in nervousness. Tears flooded my eyes as I smiled widely at my mother. "I passed, Mom... I passed..." I uttered gratefully. Mom began crying out of happiness too and hugged me tightly.
"If Dad is here, he must be very proud of you, Izuku..." Mom's words gave me a rush of shock. I broke apart from her gazed into her teary jade eyes.
Huh...? Why... Did I feel empty all of sudden? It is like... Something is missing deep inside my heart...
I just brushed off the uneasiness I felt and smiled at Mom. "You are right..." I agreed with her nonetheless. I looked at the clock hanging still on the wall. It read 9.30 p.m.
"Mom... Can I go out for a bit?" I asked, my eyes still locked on the green clock. "Sure, honey! As usual, be back before 11!" Mom reminded me and kissed my forehead. I giggled and went back into my room to find more suitable attire.
I finally made my choice. I put on a plain, midnight blue oversized-sweatshirt that reached above my knees, exposing my shoulders. I also wore a pair of black leggings to cover my exposed skin.
I hope I look okay.
I rushed out of my room and put on my red shoes before leaving the house in hurry to see the man I missed so much.
Shiki-san.
•••••
At the park...
I stopped running when I spotted Shiki-san. He was standing there, looking up the night sky. His front body was facing the bench in front of him so he didn't notice me. A mischievous idea popped up in my mind.
I tip-toed toward him sneakily, being extra cautious not to get caught. I was finally behind him, and he got no idea about it. I then tackled him in surprise, hugging his torso tightly. He gasped out of shock.
"I got you!" I giggled gleefully, still hugging from behind him. "Midori..." He sighed sheepishly.
A year almost passed ever since Dabi left me. It had been 11 months, almost a year, since I met Shiki-san too. I can finally move on and forget Dabi for good.
And I don't love Dabi anymore.
I was so happy when I got over the break up. Like, really happy. My life became brighter after that, and my relationship with Shiki-san became much closer than before.
But now, I have another problem...
...with this man I'm hugging right now...
"Do you mind letting me go now? You are suffocating me-" Shiki-san demanded and coughed up a bit. I panickally let him go. "S-Sorry! I never meant to hurt you!" I frantically bowed to him in guilt.
"Nah, it is fine..." He shrugged it off. I raised up my head and my eyes met his vermilion ones.
Yes, now he is my new problem. Lately, I have been feeling weird whenever he is around. My heart won't stop beating so rapidly that I feel like it is going to explode. I can't get him off of my mind. He is the one all I think about at night, before I go to sleep. And I keep blushing a lot everytime he smiles or laughs!
Jeez, what is wrong with me?!
These symptoms... It can't be...!!
"Midori?" Shiki-san waved his hand in my face, breaking me out of my train of thoughts. "A-ah, sorry! I spaced out a bit! I was just too happy!!!" I yelled out in pure bliss. "Happy? About what?" He tilted his head a bit.
"I passed."
"Huh?"
"I passed the entrance exam and now I will be studying at U.A.!!!" I announced proudly, opening my arms and began spinning around in delight. A gasp of shock escaped his mouth. "U.A.... You are really applying for U.A....?" Shiki-san asked, his tone of voice sounded like he was irritated.
"Yeah, I did. I told you before, didn't I? I was applying for U.A." I stated after stopping spinning around. I stared at Shiki-san who was biting his bottom dried lip. "Why U.A. of all school?" He asked me in husky voice.
"Well, it is because All Might studied there before too! Besides, it's the national school, the one on the top of best hero school! I want to be a hero like All Might so that's why I want to go to U.A.!" I exclaimed with a wide smile, and spun around again.
"I can't wait for the first day! My heart is pounding in excitement!" I fangirled, looking up to the sky. "Um... How did you pass the exam? I thought you said you were Quirkless..." Shiki-san murmured, loud enough for me to hear.
"Oh, about that... I-I worked hard to manifest my Quirk. I don't know how to put it but... I managed to develop a Quirk! Yes, that's it!" I stated in awkwardness, kind off feeling bad for lying to him.
Shiki-san stared at me long, his eyed foreshadowed by his blue locks. "I see..." He muttered. "Sorry but I need to leave now. You should go home too." He said in gentle voice, ruffling my hair with one finger remained untouched.
"Eh, already?" I whispered strangely. It wasn't even 15 minutes we hung out and he already wanted to return home?
"A-Alright. Be careful, okay." I said reluctantly. I wanted to hang out longer to be honest. "Yeah, you too." He said before walking away.
I waved my hand to him, still in confusion. "Did I do something wrong...?" I muttered to myself. I shook off the thoughts and walked back home too.
He is acting strange... More strange than usual...
