Midoriya's POV

I ran toward the chaotic scene in pure excitement after noticing the incident that was happening. My breathing hitched a bit after running all the way here, my emerald eyes sparkling.

"That's a huge villain!" I said half-yell to myself when my eyes landed on the villain. "E-excuse me..." I muttered, walking forward through the crowd to get a better view of the scene. A giant man with shark-like head was terrorizing the light rail before letting out a loud, anger-filled growl which didn't scare the crowds at all. It only raised the excitement.

"Everyone this is dangerous. Stay back, stay back!" A man who made the wall of water exclaimed.

The rescue specialist, Backdraft is here too!!!

I overheard two men's conversation, talking about the villain who suddenly went berserk. It turned out the villain was a purse snatcher but then got mad after he was cornered by the heroes, triggering him to use his powerful Quirk.

I see... So he is a bag snatcher.

"Kyaaa! You can do it, Kamui!~" A group of young ladies squealed excitedly. I finally made it to the very front of the crowd, getting the chance to witness the view in much closer distance. "Who is fighting?" I asked with a wide smile plastered on my face.

"Kamui Woods! The young and talented rising star!!" I exclaimed, clutching the strap of my yellow backpack tighter. The man with three sharp shuriken-shaped-like head chuckled, catching my attention. I turned to look at him in confusion.

"You were the one asking but you gave a perfect commentary, kid. You are a fangirl, aren't you?" He exclaimed, pointing his finger to me. "U-um, well.." I fidgeted a bit, smiling sheepishly as faint pink shades tinted on my face.

"Illegal use of powers during rush hour and rpbbery resulting in bodily injury. You are the incarnation of evil." Kamui Woods exclaimed before extending his wooden arms. "Oh, here it comes!!!" I yelled loudly, pointing to the new pro hero.

"Pre-emptive..." I muttered.

"Binding... Lacquered Chain Prison!!" We both yelled at the same time. Kamui Woods's arm extended into many branches, launched toward the monster villain to restrain him.

But...

"Canyon Cannon!!" A woman voice's exclaimed before a giant lady appeared and kicked the villain off of the rail. Everyone was dropped in shocked silent at her sudden appearance. "Huh?" Kamui Woods wad left frozen there in total confusion.

"Today is the day of my debut! My name is Mountain Lady. A pleasure to make your accquaintance~" Mountain Lady introduced herself, winking her eyes to the cheery crowds in a provocative way. I was pushed away by a group of men holding cameras to capture her pictures.

I only ignored the loud cheering from the crowds, digging my hans into my backpack to take out my notebook.

Along with the superpowers came an explosive increase in crime. As the country was stucked in the slow progress of drastic law reforms, courageous people started performing heroic acts out of comic books.

Heroes were soon accepted by thr public and it was established as an official position. Based on their performance, they are paid by the government and gain renown among the masses.

This is my dream job since I was little, the one I want to become, a hero! A hero who save people with a fearless smile! This is my dream that I won't ever give up on!

It's all because of that hero I admired for so long, ever since I was a kid, I aim myself to be a hero...

And also because of another person... Because of him...

Shiki-san, your words yesterday really encouraged me! I won't disappoint you!

"Gigantification, huh? She looks like she will be popular and it is an amazing Quirk, but thinking about the damage to the city that will go hand in hand with that, its use might be limited? No, but whether or not she can control the size..." I kept mumbling to myself, my right hand holding a pencil wrote down the notes of Mountain Lady's Quirk that I accquired today.

"Hey wait, you are taking notes? You want to be a hero? That is great! You can do it!" The same man who talked to me just now gave me a thumb-up, showing his support to me. I turned to look at him with sparkling eyes. "Yes! I will do my best!" I said, smiling widely at him.

Yeah, I will definitely become a hero...

Aldera Junior High,
Morning...

Third Person's POV

"Ehem, since you are all third years, it is time for you to think seriously about your future. I will pass out handouts for your future plans now, but..." The blonde teacher grabbed the stack of paper agressively as his students began activating their Quirks. "...you are all..." He continued, speaking in suspension.

"...pretty much planning to go into the hero course, right?" The adult man stated with a satisfying smile before throwing the papers in the air. "Yeaah!!!!!" All of the third-year teenagers cheered loudly, showing off their Quirks.

"Yes, yes, you all have wonderful Quirks! But using your powets at school is against the rules!" The teacher praised the energetic students but also reminded them of the school rules.

"Teach! Don't lump us all in the same group. I'm not gonna be stuck at the bottom with the rest of these rejects!" An ash blonde boy, known as Katsuki Bakugou exclaimed smugly, smirking mockingly at his classmates. His words really enraged them.

"That wad uncalled for, Katsuki!"

"Yeah, yeah!"

"You all should shut up like the extras you are!!!" Bakugou laughed in sarcastic tone. "Oh, if I remember correctly, you want to go to U.A. High, right, Bakugou?" The teacher said blankly, his eyes fixated on the students record files.

"U.A.? That national school?!"

"It was in the top 0.2% this year, you know!"

"Their acceptance rate is always low, too!"

The class was full of chattering of its students. They were all shocked by this news. Izuku Midoriya, the only dark green haired-girl in the class was the only one who stayed quiet, in fact, she was actually scared right now. She hung her head low and crossed her arms on her head protectively, not wanting to attract the bully's attention, because of a certain reason.

"That is exactlh why you guys are just extras!" Bakugou spoke up in cheeky tone before hopping onto his table. "I aced the mock test! I'm the only one at this school who could possibly get into U.A. I'll definitely surpass All Might and become the top hero!!!" The arrogant boy exclaimed shamelessly, raising his balled-fist in the air proudly.

"Oh yeah, Midoriya wanted to go to U.A. too, right?" The teacher interupted Bakugou, surprising the whole class with such a ridiculous fact. Midoriya flinched, burying her head deeper to the table while Bakugou already turned into a white statue.

The female greenette slowly lifted her head up cowardly, still trying to gather her courage to look up. Her classmates burst out into laughter.

"Huh? Midoriya?! No way!!" One of the boys mocked her.

"You can't get into the hero course just by studying!" His other friend joined too, making the class laughed louder at the poor green girl.

"Th-They got rid of that rule! There is just no precedent..." Midoriya immediately stood up to defend herself. Out of nowhere, Bakugou jumped toward her and exploded her desk. Midoriya lunged back and fell on the tiled floor, hissing in slight pain because of the impact.

"Hey, Deku! You are below the rejects! You are Quirkless! How can you even stand in the same ring as me?!" The sandy blonde male yelled, insulting the fallen female.

"N-no, wait, Kacchan!" Midoriya flinched in fear. "I-It's not like I'm trying to compete with you or anything! Believe me!" She scooted back far away from him until her back hit the wall, panic rose in her.

"It's just that... It has been my goal ever since I was little. And well... I won't know unless I try..." Midoriya timidly spoke her thoughts out, slowly darting her eyes to look up to her so called childhood friend.

"What do you mean, unless you try?! Are you taking the test for fun?! What the hell can you do? You are Quirkless!" Bakugou exclaimed in complete irritation, letting out smoke from his palms.

Midoriya looked down again, feeling very little and humiliated, clenching her palms into firm fists while her classmates kept laughing at her unrealistic dream.
