Third Person's POV

Izuku and the top two male yakuzas walked back into Kai's office, only to see a shaking Irinaka beside the empty couch-- the couch Nashiro used to sleep on. Seeing this sight, Izuku got a bad feeling in her stomach.

But worse, anger was building up within her.

Turning to the bird plush, a malicious expression darkened on her face. She asked, with husky and threatening voice,

"Excuse me, Mimic... Where is my daughter?" The villainess cracked a terrifying, dangerous smile. She clenched her palm into shaking fist, trying to hold back her madness.

Upon hearing her unusually husky voice, Irinaka felt shivers running down to his spines. He was completely wrong about the shadow leader of League of Villains all this time. No wonder she was feared by the heroes, and worshipped by the villains.
A true incarnation of evil.

Swallowing down the lump in his throat, the plushie dropped on his knees and groveled in front of Izuku. "Forgive me! I got distracted for a little and when I turned back, she was already gone! I don't know where she go off to!" He apologized in terror.

Izuku was silenced for a moment. Kai realized her drastic change and he knew this would not end up good. Never once he saw the calm, shy, kind-hearted woman got enraged. It was a very rare occurrence.

To see this side of her with his own eyes... He internally admitted, she was indeed fearful. She even managed to make Irinaka tremble in fear.

Gritting her teeth in anxiousness, Izuku's fist shook violently. Kai suddenly patted her shoulder in an attempt to calm down his partner. "I'm very certain Nashiro is still in this facility. Let's search for her together. I promise I won't stop looking until we find her..." Suggesting his idea, he stared at her worried face expectantly.

Izuku chewed on her quivering bottom lip. She obediently nodded her head, agreeing with his suggestion. "Very well.. Please do so." She responded, her jade eyes shot a death glare to the bird midget.

Like earlier, Irinaka felt chills all over his body. Her cold gaze froze his whole being as he was gradually consumed by more fear. He looked down, didn't dare to make eye contact with the daughter of All For One.

Izuku walked out of the office while Kai followed suit from behind. He gestured Hari and Irinaka to join in the search too, though the manager protested by stomping his little foot. The right-hand man complied with his boss' order and tailed his figure, leaving the angry bird alone.

".... Chrono will look around the residental area. We will search this underground facility together, considering how big it is." Kai began to organize a plan with the other two. Hari and Izuku silently nodded their heads, agreeing with whatever strategy he had come up with.

The silvernette strolled away from the two business partners alone. They started walking through the hallway that seemed endless in Izuku's eyes. Immense worry was obviously evident in her green gaze.

Kai also minded his own business, searching the facility as careful as he could, so he would not miss any useful clue. There was a moment of dead silence between them. "Nashiro! Nashiro!" The concerned mother yelled her missing daughter's name.

"Jeez, where did that girl go...? She is never like this  at home..." Izuku cupped her cheek and shook her head in complete turbulence. Her child's true colour was showing little by little.

Kai didn't remark to her this time. He just quietly listened to her while his eyes inspected his surrounding intently. Izuku was getting more and more impatient as minutes passed. God, if only she has X-ray-type Quirk, probably this search will not be this tough.

-- 30 minutes later --

After about half an hour looking for Nashiro, Izuku and Kai reached an unfamiliar room. Well, at least to Izuku. She had never reached this place before nor she had seen this room. The door was a giant metal door, with passwords locking it. Kai's eyes slightly widened when he realized they had arrived at the restricted area;

Eri's room.

This is a bad idea, Kai thought anxiously. All this time, he had hidden the existence of Eri from Izuku's knowledge. Hearing that the young woman was fond of children, he guessed it was... A bad idea to tell her the secret behind the making of the Quirk-Destroying bullets.

"Wait here, Midoriya. I will check on that room." Thinking fast of a way to stop her from finding the truth, Kai offered to investigate the room. Though he already knew the person staying in that room.

"It is okay. I don't want to trouble you more than I already did. I will check on the room." Izuku kindly turned him down, a soft smile plastered on her face. She started to make her way to the door of the room.

Sweat rolled down the side of Kai's face. His fingers traveled down to the rim of his glove when the last resort popped up in his mind. He knew he had to keep Eri's existence a secret no matter what. He had no other option left... The only thing he could do now was knock out Izuku.

Izuku sensed something suspicious from the young head. Using one of the Quirks she had, she unlocked the door with ease. Kai, who was behind her, was ready to implement his risky plan.

"Why are you taking off your glove, Overhaul?" The female greenette husked out as the door was slowly open. Her question halted Kai's action. "Well, I—"

The door opened revealing two young girls on a single-sized bed. One of the little girls -- the toddler they had beens searching for -- clapped her hands after seeing her mother.

"Mama!"

Nashiro giggled gleefully in the arms of Eri. Eri flinched at the sight of Kai and the unknown woman -- Izuku. She was shocked to see Eri in there. Never once, she had seen her around in the base for the past two years.

Eri's arms and legs that were bandaged, the fear vivid in her teary crimson irises, her trembling body... Izuku realized something was wrong.

".... Who is this little girl? I have never seen her before..."

"Ah, she... She is my..."

"You said you don't have a daughter nor other family member so don't you dare to tell me a lie, Overhaul."

"Midoriya, she is just a girl I was asked to take care of—"

"Then, why her body is all bandaged like that? Did you have ever hurt her before?"

".... I...."

"You there. Close your eyes and Nashiro's eyes."

Izuku turned around facing Kai back. The Yakuza leader was clearly panicking. Eyes were wide with horror, legs began to giving up to support him.

"For your information, using your Quirk on me is futile. You can't even use it anymore, Overhaul."

Izuku said with a small smile, eyes closing in delight. Kai, confused, was about to ask her a question...

But he was immediately blown to pieces. Thick scarlet liquid painted the wall, ceiling and ground.

"I took away your Quirk without you noticing. My apology but I won't cooperate with a child abuser like you anymore."

Izuku turned back to her daughter and the young girl. A rush of pity surged through her whole being. She stepped into the room and approached Eri.

Izuku reached out her hand to the little child and caressed her long gray hair. Feeling her gentle touch, Eri looked up at her. There was a glint of motherly love in her soft gaze.

"You don't have to worry anymore... I will bring you out of here and keep you safe. I promise..."

"R-really?"

Eri's voice was croaky when she spoke up. Tears began to flood her eyes once again. Izuku nodded her head while flashing a wide smile for her.

'Poor girl... I can't imagine what she has gone through..' Izuku thought sympathetically. She picked Nashiro up and Eri hopped off the bed, before they used Izuku's Invisiblity Quirk and left the Yakuza property secretly...
