Raqesh came to shamita's place, he knocked the doors and shamita let him in.

She was just panicking and walking here and there and not talking to him

Raqesh noticed her behaviour and knows that something is serious.

He stopped her by holding both her hands and looked straight in her eyes....

Raqesh - What happened shamita..... can you please tell me as you are freaking scaring me now....

Shamita looked in his eyes with her big nervous eyes, and they shared an eye lock for a minite, which made her emotional and her eyes got wet...

Watching tears in her eyes ..raqesh got confused...

Raqesh - Heyy.....I ..I am sorry....it's okay if you don't want to tell me anything...take your time ..I am right here..(he tries to calm her)

Shamita wiped her tears, she gained some strength to break the news to him.

Shamita - Raqesh, I.....I called you to tell you that ....that last week when I was at my shoot, I got fainted there. And next day I visited a doctor and got some tests done....and.....

Raqesh very patiently listening

Shamita - and I found out that ...that I....I....am.....

Raqesh - hmm I am listening ...

Shamita - I am....I am pregnant Raqesh.....(she closed her eyes as she said this, as she was not ready to face his reactions)

There was silence for sometime. Raqesh was surely in some shock. He thought he heard something wrong.

Raqesh - You what....???

Shamita opened her eyes and looked at him ....

Shamiat - I....I said I am pregnant. (she nervously repeated that to him)

She then went inside her room, opened a drawer and got her reports.

She came out in the hall and handed the reports to him in his hands...

Shamita - See this....

Raqesh go through the reports and found that she is telling the truth...she is pregnant.

Raqesh took a little step back as he was unable to process this news. He was neither happy nor sad...he was just in utter shock & disbelief.

Raqesh - How... how can this happen....

Shamita- Really? ....you don't know how this happened? .....I am sure you were not that drunk that you don't remember anything....

Raqesh - I..I mean I remember that....I am just asking howwww can we get pregnant...okay forget this....tell me did...did you tell anyone...Shilpa ...or anyone ....? Are they going to kill me ? (he joked in nervousness)

Shamita : Shut up.....not yet....I havent told them, as you should be the first person to know...

There was sudden silence after this......raqesh was just processing everything and shamita was silently waiting for his inputs. After some time when he was not responding anything....she asked him with emotional eyes...

Shamita- You....you don't want this baby ?
(she asked keeping a stone at her heart)

He was again silent looking deep into her eyes. And that made shamita think that he clearly don't want this baby...nor any relationship with her which will come with many big responsibilities now.

Shamita - Look I will not pressurize you ....I know it was...it was not your fault ....you were drunk....I was not. So technically it's my fault.

I ... I will deal with this on my own (she said and turned her face around, hiding her real emotions from him)

It's okay raqesh you don't have to think much..I just have to tell you this because... because you need to know this.....agar important na hota toh I would not have even bothered you....and I am sorry I should have stopped you that day.....I should have stopped both of us.....it's my fault.

Raqesh heard this, he went in front of her, held her shoulders gently, coming face to face to her and said.....

Raqesh - Why.....why are YOU saying sorry shamz....I should be one saying sorry. I dont know what happened to me that night.....it just happened and now YOU have to go through this.....it's my fault.

Shamita can see that he atleast cares about her.....but right now she was more concerned about whether he cares about the baby ? Whether he is feeling the same way she is feeling for their baby....?

She asked looking in his eyes....

Shamita - Are you...are you really not happy with this news Raqesh ?

Shamita knew he is not because he never wanted this.....but to her surprise he replied....

Raqesh - What ? Of course i am happy...why....why won't I be....it's just the biggest news one could ever get. Anyone would feel happy and excited....so am I. Yes i am little shocked right now, but also happy at the same time.

Shamita - But I thought you never like kids ..and you said once that you never wanted to have babies....

Raqesh - Oh come on baba....no bachelor man will ever say that he want kids, doesnt mean they never want one.

I must have said that in past, but I don't know it is happening now. ...and it's it's my baby....God shit, my my baby. It sounds so unreal shamita. This is crazy.

He looked at her, held her hands and said ~

" Look shamita , I... I may not have expressed this in a good way, because you know how bad I am at this...but trust me...I....I am happy. It's different kind of a feeling...I...I can't express...."

These words just brought a little ray of happiness on shamita's face. She was relieved  that he feels the same way she felt.

Shamita - ......so that means we...we have decided to keep this baby right?......there is no...no question of abort.....?

Raqesh - WHAT....no..never.....I mean thats not even an option.....it's a small human being and it's breathing right inside you shamita, so there is no question whether we want this or not ...it's already there right....so it is happening !
Okay Did you hear me....IT IS HAPPENING...THIS BABY IS OUR BABY AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT TOGETHER...!!!!!
he said and he cupped her face in his hands and they came more closer as his each word brings more smile on her face.

And this moment just changed everything. It was a feeling that never happened to them and they don't know how to express this. They were just living with that feeling.

They were looking in each other's eyes...and their eyes were doing the rest of the talking.

They always shared a special bond and their love was always pure. And now their love has blossoming into a little human being which they are ready to cherish with each other.

They may not know what their relationship will look like now.....whether they will be friends, bf gf, husband wife or just co parents........they don't know as of now ..
They just know that there is a baby...and it is their baby ...so they have a responsibility now and they are ready for that responsibility.
They are not thinking anything beyond that !

They both had a discussion after that and had lunch together at shamita's place.

After eating , shamita felt like puking. She suddenly got up went to the bathroom to puke...

Raqesh panicked and he ran after her...

"Hey are you okay ....should I come inside. "
He asked while standing outside the door

She came out after minute....but she has no energy to talk....she just went to bed and lay down.

Raqesh worried watching her condition and don't know what has happened to her...

Raqesh - Hey...u okay. Should I get water or....or should I call doctor....?

Shamita - I am okay raqesh.....this....this happens every day now. Whatever I eat I just throw it up. And then I am left with no energy....

He first gets the water from side table and make her drink with his own hands.

Raqesh - come sit.....have some water first.

Shamita felt tired and she lay back on bed and felt like sleeping for sometime.

Raqesh don't know anything about pregnancy but one thing he knows is that she needs him right now.

More than anything or anyone, she just needs him and he is ready to be with her !

He layed next to her, gently caresed her face and hairs.  Tired shamita just put her head on his shoulder, while her eyes being closed.

Raqesh pressed his one arm around her.....and made her more confartable to sleep.

He was looking at her when suddenly he looked down....... he slowly place his another arm over her belly and a sudden smile came on his face. He started caressing her belly imagining the presence of his baby in there.

He is feeling belonged...he is feeling responsible.....a different kind of happiness....it was something he never felt before.

Then he looked at shamita's face...which looked pale and fatigue. She looked more weak and fragile than she ever looked.

The smile turned into nervousness, He thought whether he would be able to take care of her...in such a delicate situation. And after sometime her phone rang...

In an attempt to avoid disturbing her sleep...instead of turning off, he picked up the phone in a hurry !

Doctor - Oh hi ..sorry shamita I could not take your call before....so tell me....you called to ask something regarding the baby....? Tell me i am free now....

Raqesh - umm...Hi....doctor ...this is raqesh...woh shamita is sleeping I can tell her to call you later....

Hearing the name raqesh....doctor immediately knew it isbRaqesh Bapat, as their love affair was not a secret from anyone. Everyone knows about them being in relationship and then breakup.

And this also made her knew that its none other than raqesh being the baby's father.

Doctor : Oh Sorry.....woh actually she called me to ask me about the.....the....

Raqesh - The baby ....he replied

Doctor - So she finally told you ?

Raqesh - Hmmm....I just got to know a few hours back ... (he said looking at shamita next to him).

Doctor - Finally...thank God she told someone atleast ... I told her to do so  as she is very weak right now. It's first trimester and she needs extra care. Aise me woh akeli rahegi..it's not good for her.

Raqesh - Doctor how is she otherwise...I mean any complications .....?

Doctor - Look raqesh...i will be frank with you.... I know such pregnancies are not easy for anyone. I mean raising a child being unmarried....I know how difficult it is. Pregnancy me already kaafi complications hoti hai ..and aise me mental stress just makes it worse.
Shamita is very weak both physical and mentally. She keeps on stressing about the baby abhi se hi....so I request you please tell her not to stress much .

Raqesh - I will....thank you doctor...and I will tell her to call you once she is up.

Hearing what doctors said raqesh knew what he has to do. He knew that shamuta will never ask but as a father it is his repoanitbitly too. He has to be there to take care of both of them.

Raqesh decided to shift to her place for some days.

Once shamita got up they had this discussion where raqesh told her that he has decided to move in with her.

Shamita questioned him why he is taking such a big step to which he replied that....

Raqesh - 'I can't leave you alone at this condition shamita....you can't stay alone. I just saw how weak and fragile you are...and you need someone to be with you all the time.

Shamita - But do you think it's the right decision .....?

Raqesh - I don't know what is right what is wrong ...all I know is that you are carrying a baby .....and that baby is mine so I have to stay with both of you..and I am not asking you...it's final.

Shamita went silent. Alot of emotions were running in her mind. On one side she was happy that he was doing so much for her...while on the other side she was confused.

She was having thoughts like....Are they going to live together? Does it mean they are dating again or is it just for baby..? Will he be going to marry her ? Or is he not thinking about marriage ?
Does he even love her anymore....? Or is he just fulfilling his responsibilities....?

She thought to ask him directly what has he thought about their future.....but she could not. Right now she don't want to ruin this beautiful moment by thinking about future. She decided to let it go with the flow and just enjoy this phase ...while she has him also now on this beautiful journey.

Raqesh got his stuff and finally got shifted to her home. They also sleeps in the same bedroom without having any awkwardness as Raqesh decided to be with her all the time and takes care of her from morning to night.

Its been two days of their arrangement, But one night she recieved a call.....
