Next Morning

Shamita was cozily wrapped in his big arms, her head on his bare chest, and a peaceful smile rests on her face.

She don't know the last time she had such an amazing sleep.

She woke up first with a smile on her face ....and looked at this handsome man sleeping next to her, who looks even more handsome early in the morning.

She kissed his cheeks but next second she came in senses .....back from her dreamy land and realised this man she just woke up with is no longer her boyfriend.

She silently got up making sure he doesnt wake up ,and straight went into the bathroom.

She had a shower, got ready and comes back to the room.

She looked at him as he was sleeping so comfortably in her bed......which he always used to when they were dating.

That scene was just picture perfect for her. It brought a sudden smile on her face.

She was about to leave the room when phoebee came inside and within blink of seconds she was on the bed tucked to raqesh's arm.

Shamita gets panick ' Oh no...phoebee....phoebee nooo...come back'

She don't want Raqesh to wake up as it will be awkward for them. She wanted to avoid this situation for some time atleast.

But hard luck....as Raqesh just woke up with phoebee's touch. He woke up with a smile....caressing phoebee and squishing her more into his arms. 'Hey phobeee....myyy babyyy....how are you naughty one ..'
He started playing with her and kissing her cheeks to her face.

Shamita was just watching them bond.

He sat on bed and had phoebee in his arms and was playing with her when he said...
'Look shamita.....she again has these big nails ...and it's hurting me while holding her..why don't you trim it '

He didn't realize the situation, and when he did he looked at her. It was the moment when he also came in senses out of his dreamy land ...realising that HE.... No longer owns this place....this cat...nor this woman.

And that moment as expected become awkward for both of them.

Shamita moved out of the room...just to give him space .

Raqesh got up , wore back his clothes and came out in the living room.

Raqesh - I am so sorry shamita, for the last night .....I came here in a drunk state...I don't know what all I have said ....must have said alot of things to you ....and...and I don't know I was in some zone .....hope you are fine......?

Shamita - Ya..it's ..it's okay Raqesh....I understand .

They both were not meeting eyes as they both knew that whatever happened was mutual ...and it was with both's concent. So technically they both still have feelings for each other but no one knows how to talk about it to each other.

Raqesh - I think I should just leave......

Shamita didn't say anything ...

Raqesh waited for a minute and then began to leave. He left .....and they both regretted as no one confessed their feelings to each other.

Soon after that day,they both got extremely busy in their lives. Raqesh began shooting for his next movie.

Shamita went to Kashmir for her next music video shoot.

They both just forgot about that night, considering it as a weak moment for both of them. No one talked about it after that.

But destiny is destiny. It doesn't work as per your plans...it has its own plans.

One day (after two months) shamita was on a shoot day...shooting in an outdoor location.

It was a dance sequence....which involves alot of retakes. She was giving her best in every shot.

But after two-three takes she started feeling tired and dizzy. She don't know why she was feeling so tired in just two three retakes.

Director - What happen shamita.....are you alright ?

Shamita - Ya...ya ya I am fine ......let's do one more take.

*And Action.....*

She did few steps with her partner....but after 5 minutes she just fainted. Out of nowhere....it was a sudden drop ....but thankfully she was in her partners arms...so he held her in place and protected her from falling.

Everyone on the set panicked...and someone took her into her vanity room

Her manager called the doctor

Doctor was examining her.....her manager was beside her all the time while everyone else were outside.

The doctor knew what happened...and it was visible from her face that it is something that can be a matter of concern for shamita. She decided to share it with shamita only.

She asked the manager to go out for sometime as she need to do further examination .

The manager went out, soon shamita regain her consciousness .....

Shamita - ahhh....ouch...'holding her head'

She opened her eyes...and was surprised to see a doctor in front of her. 'Wh....whhat.....what just happened.....did....did I fall down...?'

Doctor - Relax....you did not fall...you got unconscious but your co actor held you in place....so don't worry.

Shamita tried to sit.

She held her head and said ' Woh I did not ate anything in breakfast...and it was a hectic schedule....maybe I just over worked myself'

Doctor - it's not because of over work shamita...

This brings her serious attention towards the doctor's face.

Shamita - did ...did something happened to me?

Doctor - Yes.....I have to tell you this that....you are pregnant.

Shamita was unable to process....

Shamita - SORRY WH...WHHAT ?

Doctor - I know ....that's why I even made your manager move out of this vanity van coz I know maybe you would not want anyone to know this news before you . So I didn't told anyone... you can just relax for now and think positively .

Shamita was not in a mind to process this news.

Shamita : Wait...wait doctor are you serious...I mean ...I I mean there can be some mistake also ...did you checked it properly....do i need to do more tests?

Doctor - Shamita......I have checked properly and if you want to be double sure ...you can come to my clinic tomorrow and we can do the blood tests also . Okay...don't worry we will do the tests tomorrow .

Keeping an assuring hand on her face...she left.

The panicked manager visited her inside after doctor left.

Manager : Hey shamie....how are you feeling now ...are you alright...?

Shamita was not in a right state of mind to talk.

Shamita - I need to go home ...

She just went out , called her driver and went back home .

Next day she visited the doctor's clinic. She had her blood tests done.

Doctor - you will get the reports by tomorrow ..I will mail you the reports.

Shamita nodded...she got up and was about to leave.

Doctor : Ahhh shamita....I can see a visible fear on your face. I hope you know that....you can still get rid of this baby if you want. I mean I can understand it happens sometimes. You are not at fault ..so don't worry you have all the options with you.

This just clicks her mind.....and she for the first time thought it in a way that ...that this is her baby. Her.....and.... RAQESH'S BABY !!!

she just nodded and left the doctor's cabin.

The next day ....first thing in the morning she did was to check her emails....and she had her reports in it.

She very nervously opened the pdf....and read the first first line in bold which says ....

* PREGNANCY REPORT - POSITIVE *

The word positive confirms that SHE IS PREGNANT.

She got numb in that moment. She always dreamt of becoming a mother...but she didn't expected this will happen in such an unexpected way.

Automatically her hand reached her belly...and she slowly caresses her tummy...which now carries a small little baby of her own.

She shed tears of joy and happiness. But her happiness was for few minutes only as she realised that she is neither married ...nor she is in a relationship with the father of this baby.

Her first thought was to inform him before she takes any decision for this baby.

She took her phone and dialled RAQESH'S number.

But she cut the calls in second !

Shamz POV ~
'No shamita....you can't inform him. You know he never wanted a child..he never wanted marriage. He will never accept this baby. He will definately want me to.......No no whatever it is......you can't inform him.'

She decides not to inform him and herself take the decision. She still has not decided anything and her days went on.

After a week, she was sitting alone in her home....was eating her favourite food. Suddenly she felt like puking.....she hurried to the bathroom and thrown up.

She felt very weak after that and she just went to her bed and lay down. She thought she should visit the doctor again ..as she needs to know what all she can eat and what not.

She took the appoinment and visited doctor the next day.

In doctor's cabin

Doctor first examined her and then they both sat in her cabin.

Doctor : Everything looks fine shamita. I am prescribing some medicines & some vitamins which you need to start now.

Shamita - ...and can you also tell me what all I can't eat now....as I vomit out almost everything that I am eating these days.

Doctor smiled 'Its very normal in pregnancy shamita....you have to get used to these morning sickness as it will going to continue for first trimester.

Shamita : Oh ..ohkay....

She looked a bit confused but was very curiously listening to doctors advices and prescriptions

Doctor - Well Shamita....I am happy that you have decided to keep this baby. In most cases I have seen the single-actresses usually abort their child. I am sure you have your family support with you.

Shamita - Umm .....actually I haven't informed my family yet. Shilpa or mu mom doesnt know about this.

This worried the doctor.

Doctor (worried) - Shamita...look since I am your regular family doctor...I will suggest you should tell your family. Because if you have decided that you want this baby...then you should also know that first trimester is very risky. You have to be very very careful and take extra care of yourself. And for that you need a good support system. I hope you have atleast told the father of this baby.

Shamita remain silent and looked down which answer's the doctors question.

Doctor - Oh no shamita...please don't do this. You can't do this all by yourself. You have to tell someone atleast....

Shamita nodded 'i just need some time ...I will tell them soon'

Doctor sighed....She nodded and wished her best.

The next day shamita was in deep thoughts whether to inform raqesh or not.

She was in thoughts only when She recieved a call and surprisingly it was raqesh's call.

She widened her eyes...and picked the call in a hurry

Raqesh - Hey I just called to inform you that ...

Shamita - Raqesh can you come home right now ....?

She didn't let him finish and asked him to come which came as a shock to him.

He who just called to inform her that their music video has completed 20 million views and he wanted to share the happiness with her , got a shock when she invited him home.

But she sounded very nervous and this worried raqesh even more...

Raqesh - Hey....is everything fine...?

Shamita - just come.....i need to tell you something...

Raqesh - okay.....I am coming in 10 minutes .
