"See you later Amanda," Shelly called. She and Amanda were BFF's! Volley ball practice and just ended and Amanda was heading home.

"Mom, Dad anyone home!" Called Amanda. Her parents were scientists and often didn't come home till late. Buzz Buzz, Amanda's mom texted her.
Mom: hey honey, new experiment at the lab. Won't be home till late. Dinner is in the fridge! Don't stay up too late
Amanda: kk mom! What's the new experiment.
Mom: sry kiddo, it's classified.
Amanda: classified from me!
Mom: yep
Amanda: gimme a hint! Just one! Please please please
Mom: 😄.   Alright fine. It involves a test subject! No one you know! Have a nice night! 🌕
Amanda: night mom

Great another night home alone. I guess I'll just warm up dinner and watch The Conjuring.

Amanda pauses the movie to get more popcorn. What's that sound? The footsteps continue. Omg! I must've left the movie on. None still paused. Suddenly a cloth was held over her mouth, she knew it was drugged shed read enough book. Still one can only hold their breath for so long. As she was going limp she managed to glance at her attacker.
