Chapter One- Rain
(hey, author here, this chapter is gonna be a little dry, sorry owo)
POV: Xisumavoid
Being the admin for HermitCraft was hard and often very draining. I dont mind. It keeps me busy.
I rigged a firework and launched into the sky with my elytra, overlooking the newest part of my base. I liked it.
Satisfied, I flew over to the shopping district, seeing Mumbo zip by on his elytra. I knew Mumbo was probably just getting redstone.
I landed in front of Grians barge, grabbing a shulker of golden carrots and leaving after I payed. Ah, Grian. That little trickster. He was always glad he invited Grian to join them for Season 6. He spiced up the server.
Flying home, he realized night was falling. His base was quite a ways a way. "Why didnt i just take the never roof.." I mumbled, touching down on the main part of my base. Ducking inside, I started sorting my chests. I like sorting them.
Ive heard Scar has an out of control chest monster. I gave a small laugh, thinking of his snail, Larry. Rain started to pour down. Lets hope we get a thunder and lighting storm as well, I thought, moving towards my room. None of us slept. We all waited for any signs of lighting or thunder. Nothing, I thought, not even thunder.
POV: Mumbo
I shot past Xisuma, heading toward the shopping district. I needed andesite for my base. I found a place to buy some, pulling out some diamonds and leaving them where I took the andesite from. Pleased with my purchase, I shot off into the sky, heading back to my base. I hummed Mumbo AFK on the flight home through the nether, the song being stuck in my head for ages. Touching down on the build site for my base, I started mixing andesite in with the other stones.
Then it started to rain. Of course it had to happen right now. I waited out the rain in the storage system part of my base, waiting for any sign of lightning.
After a while it was pretty clear nothing was going to happen. "Theres never any real storms around here..." I grumbled, walking around my base and fixing up little errors I had made. I almost went out in the rain to continue my work, but I didnt really want to get wet at the moment. So I just sat on my bed and waited out the rain.
POV: Iskall
I always whistled while I worked. Pulling another few stacks of wood out of my shulkers, I once again started expanding the twigs and branched of my omega tree. It was slowly coming together, although it was taking a very long time. It had rained last night, so the branches of the tree were a bit slippery. I almost fell off multiple times.
I got bored after working on it for a few hours. And I only had a few stacks of wood left anyway. After using up my few stacks that were left, I headed over to sit on one of Scars giant trees. Of course, they were puny compared to mine, but they were still amazing. All of his builds were amazing.
His whimsical village blew everyone away with all the detail. I heard that Mumbo had come to get some ideas for his base. Eyes scanning the jungle, I stared at Grian's mansion. It was huge. I wondered how long it had taken him just to get it done. Probably very many. Of course, the back wasn't done. Grian had been putting it off for a long time. Nobody really knew it he would ever finish it.
Rigging up a rocket, I shot off back toward my base. I still had a long way to go before it was complete, but i was happy with the progress I made over the past few days. I ducked into my Nether portal and headed over to my new Piglin trading hall/farm and collected the loot. Stacks of gravel. A few soul speed boots, and much more. This farm was proving to be more useful than I thought it would be.
I hadn't really used the new wood variations yet. But I did like them. Joe used the new Nether blocks to amp up his winery, and Joe-rassic Bark. I laughed at the name. Even though Joe was dog-catcher, there were still dogs all over the place. He knew Joe would get around to it eventually.
I headed back to the omega tree (of doom), and a realization struck me. Scar hadnt been around for a week or two. He wondered why. He knew Doc hadnt been around because he was moving, but where was Scar?
