Taehyung's P.O.V

I'm actually really scared, like really really scared. His father controlled my body, making me fall on my knees without me being able to do anything about it. I couldn't even speak my thoughts as they just got shut down in an instant. I'm scared. What if he doesn't have mercy next time? What if he doesn't listen to Jungkook? What if we're alone next time?

I'm scared and I can't tell Jungkook because he's also freaking out, even though he doesn't show it. He's been acting strange ever since we became werewolves. Is it my fault he's acting like this? That his dad did this to me?

I groan and roll around on the bed. I need to clear my thoughts. And soon. A squirrel jumps from branch to branch next to my window and I get the doglike instinct to chase it.

Fuck it.

I shift into my wolf form and jump out of the window, landing on a thick branch only a few meters from the ground.

Come here little squirrel. I won't hurt you. The brown animal senses me and runs off with me behind its tail.

'Taehyung!'

I halt my steps and look around. What was that?

'Taehyung!? Where are you? Our link is getting weaker'

Ohhh it's Jungkook in my head.

'I may be or not be chasing squirrels'

I bet my voice sounds sheepish even with a wolf link.

'What!? Don't just go running off like that! Stay right there, I'm coming!'

I huff. I just wanted to take my mind off things, not be remembered of our problems. I can't even play in the woods without being lectured. If a wolf could pout I would be doing it.

Something shining in the distance draws my attention. Ooh what is that? My tail starts wagging and I feel even more like a dog. I quickly look around. Jungkook won't mind that I walk only a few meters farther... right? I start to walk into the shiny direction. What could that be? My pace quickens and I'm full on running now. When I see the object that shines in the sunlight, my heart sinks and I realize my mistake. Something big gets thrown over me, pulling me to the ground. A big net covers me and every attempt at biting it seems useless. The man who was flashing his knife in the sunlight smirks at me. I recognize him. He's the guy who threatened me with the other guy, making me step backwards until I fell into the lake.

"Well well, the little omega seems to recognize me", he slides the knife into his pocket.

I growl at him, showing off my fangs.

"Shut up omega", a voice rings out, making my voice disappear immediately.

An alpha?

A man dressed in all black smiles viciously at me. "You listen well little omega. That submissiveness can maybe save your life one day".

"What do we do with him now?", the first guy asks him. I watch them both with eyes full of hatred.

"We take him back to the boss", he says, "And then we'll get our reward".

"Killing Jungkook", the beta grins, "Best reward there is".

What? No! Nonono. Oh god why did I have to be so curious. You're such a fuckup Tae!

"Speaking of Jungkook, I think he's already coming for his omega. Let's get out of here. We don't want to face him when he still has his full strength", the alpha says and grabs the net with me inside. I try to bite him but his red stare makes me whimper and freeze in his arms.

"That's more like it"

Jungkook's P.O.V

I rush through the woods, following Taehyung's strong scent. I'm very worried. Why is his scent so strong and addicting? Even my father thought it. That shouldn't be normal. What happened to my Taehyung after the bite?

Taehyung's scent gets stronger and then suddenly disappears. What? I look around the place where he should be, the place where his scent was.

I try to link him but he doesn't answer once. It feels like the link is shut off. That only happens when the other wolf is asleep, unconscious or... dead.

I shake my head. No, don't think the worst thing first Jungkook. He's okay.

But I do have a bad feeling about this. Where's my omega? Where's my Tae?
