Taehyung

A voice sounded from the everlasting darkness surrounding the waking boy.

Am I dead? Taehyung thought to himself. He felt weird. Something was missing. He then realized that the usual pulse in his body wasn't there and he wasn't breathing. His body was see through like he had turned into a ghost. Was he floating? There was nothing underneath him except for the colour black.

"You were", a soothing voice boomed, "But I pulled you back into the world of the living. It's not your time to go yet. Your quest here hasn't been finished".

Taehyung tried to say something but his voice wasn't there either. He felt like an empty shell with only his thoughts and the woman's voice to keep him company.

A bright white lights appeared in front of his eyes. A beautiful woman with a white garb kneeled in front of him. "I am Mother Nature and I rescued you from death", she smiled warmly, the feeling of sunshine overwhelming him. When she touched his leg it felt like cherry blossoms tickling his skin.

'Why?", he asked himself. He was pretty sure the woman heard his thoughts as her blue eyes twinkled like a the waves of the ocean.

"I can't answer that question", her tone didn't change, "But I can give you one wish. I've taken a liking to you Kim Taehyung since the day you were born. I will now aid you in your quest so tell me, what is it that you desire the most?"

Taehyung furrowed his brows, his brain feeling mangled from the vague information. What did he want the most?

'Is Jungkook alive?', he asked her in his head and saw her nod.

'Could you make him back into an alpha?', he asked eagerly.

"Yes I can but is that really what you desire the most?" She spoke as if she knew a big secret and tried to remind Taehyung of it.

Taehyung seemed lost in thought for a while. There was something he had wanted for a while but he knew Jungkook wouldn't like the thought of it. Would he hate Taehyung if they'd become mates?

'I want Jungkook to become an alpha', Taehyung thought with certainty. He already had Jungkook and no stupid mate bond could make their love stronger.

"As you wish", the woman smiled and spread her arms, "Wake up Taehyung. Wake up".

Taehyung frowned. That didn't sound like the goddess.

Taehyung grabbed his head. The voices sounding stronger now like they tried fleeing from his head.

Wake up kitten!

Please wake up!!

It was as if he broke through a water surface, gulping for air as he coughed loudly, his breathing ragged and broken. His lungs felt as if they were released from a big pressure pressing down his chest. The pounding of his own heart boomed in his head like gong. He heard every single thing around him and warm blood flooded his veins. Taehyung knew in that moment that he wasn't fully human anymore.

Jungkook and Jimin released a breath they didn't know they were holding as they saw Taehyung breath heavily.

He was alive and Jungkook thought that Taehyung's heartbeat was the most beautiful thing he had ever listened to. He hadn't been able to hear the heartbeat for a good 10 minutes and Jimin had given up hope, thinking the bite had killed Taehyung. But now his heart sprung alive together with his breathing.

Taehyung opened his eyes slowly, adjusting them to the bright light coming in from the windows. The blurry figures leaning over his body became more sharper until he could make out their features. He heard gasps in the room and he wasn't sure if it was a good or a bad thing.

"W-what is it?", his voice sounded all raspy and raw.

"Your eyes", Jungkook pointed out, "They're blue".

"What does that mean?", Taehyung asked confused.

"It means you're an omega, a rare breed to be precise", Jimin mumbled in thought.

"It doesn't matter!", Jungkook grabbed the omega of the floor and pulled him into his embrace, "You're alive and that's all that matters!"

Taehyung unfroze and hugged the werewolf back, nuzzling his face in the crook his neck. They just stayed like that for a few minutes, enjoying each other's warmth and the feeling of each other's skin against them.

"A-are you a beta now?", Taehyung asked as he pulled back. He wanted to know if what he dreamt was real or just a figment of his imagination.

Jungkook smirked and showed his real eyes, a blood red glowing emerging from them. Taehyung gasped, "She was real".

"Who was?", Jungkook asked confused and it had seemed Jimin was also interested now.

"A woman, she called herself the mother of nature. She appeared while I was unconscious, saying she saved me and that she would grant me one wish", Taehyung explained to the two werewolves in front of them, their mouths hanging ajar.

"You met Mother Nature!?", Jimin shrieked, "I don't know if that's good or bad"

"She granted my wish so I don't care to be honest", Taehyung shrugged looking into Jungkook's dark eyes.

"You wished for me to be an alpha again?", Jungkook's voice broke from the strong emotions engulfing him, "I- I don't know what to say".

"You don't have to say anything. I was only doing what a good boyfriend would do", Taehyung grinned, remembering the promise they had made.

Jungkook looked lost for a moment until the memory sprang alive in his head. He smiled widely and pulled Taehyung into a bone crushing hug. "I love you so much"

"I love you too", Taehyung mumbled against his boyfriend's rockhard chest.

What a pity they didn't realize that this was only a ray of sunshine in the middle of a storm.
