TO THE PEOPLE of Riverdale, twins Astrid and Archie Andrews were like sugar and salt. Both looked the same, but the tastes of the two were very different. Astrid happened to be the sugar of the two, the sweet and perfect one. Archie wasn't hated, but his twin sister was definitely preferred over him, especially to the girls. Girls would always go to Astrid for advice (like she had any clue how to work out their problems), and somehow always seemed to finish off their conversations with a small question or comment about her hot brother. The girls would think they were being subtle, but in reality, Astrid caught on to everything.

Including Betty Coopers crush on Archie too. Astrid was well aware of the look Betty had on her face every time Archie came around, and while the little Andrews was sick of it, she would never say anything to Archie about it. If Betty wanted to tell anyone about her crush, it was up to Betty and not Astrid.

Astrid always rooted for her best friend since birth and fellow River Vixen to take a shot at Archie, even if Beatriz doesn't like him all that much (well, that's what Astrid thinks), but all Beatriz does is laugh and shrug it off, Beatriz has her hands busy with keeping up in AP classes and writing her novel in spare time. Astrid laughs and makes fun of Beatriz for loving the hobby so much, to which Beatriz always flips her off.

Astrid Jules Andrews wasn't perfect, despite what the people of Riverdale saw. Maybe she was perfect because those Andrews genes made her hot, maybe she was perfect because she was smart and cared enough to have good grades (she did after all want to get out of Riverdale). But most of all, she must've been perfect when she became one half of Riverdale Highs perfect couple. A bulldog and a river vixen, it was a perfect fit. 

She met her boyfriend —
who unfortunately had the name of an animal — 
her freshman year and they've been off and on since.
First, it started with flirting, then it escalated to more.

Moose was not Astrid's ideal partner. He liked a lot of things Astrid didn't care for, but he was her boyfriend nonetheless so she put up with him and his childish acts. Sometimes Astrid would act the same way, getting ridiculously drunk at a party or laughing when someone made fun of someone like Ethel Muggs. When Moose insists they need a break (it's him, not her of course), it only makes sense Astrid attends the party they meant to attend together and drunkenly sleeps with someone else.

It was stupid, but Astrid used them whenever she and Moose had a fallout since that break they took lasted a little longer than intended. Just when Astrid swears off boys, a new mystery rolls into town, and Astrid has to get off her high horse and return back to reality when she discovers in the town where nothing bad was ever supposed to happen, it did.

And she and her friends will stop at nothing to find the truth.

OLD AUTHORS NOTE︱heyo! i'm aware half the gifs i'm
about to use show kat with more of a blonde color to
her hair color but idc just imagine them with red hair
like archie's. other than that, enjoy the story! just a
month ago i had a surgery, now here i am — rewriting my
most famous book to make it more badass and greater than ever.

NEW AUTHORS NOTE︱it has been almost a year since
that surgery, and a year since i published this book and
introduced astrid andrews (known then as sophie andrews)
to the world. i have struggled like hell with this book, but i
have finally decided on a story i like.

NEWER AUTHORS NOTE︱this is perhaps the MESSIEST
layout ever known to grace this website. but i needed to
make clear that i took down Axel's former faceclaim because
e+++ m++++++ is guilty as hell and doesn't deserve a platform
amongst my books. however, he is not my creation, he belongs
to my friend whom is no longer active so i cannot dictate who
gets to play him anymore. use ur imagination it's not that serious.
