"Ryyyyy" you whine while cuddling your boyfriend in bed.

"Yeah?" He asked scrolling on his phone.

"I wanna get a cat." You ask cutely and Ryland giggles.

"We won't have time to take care of it baby, we both work during the day" Ryland says and you pout.

"Ryland, cats practically take care of them selves." You state and Ryland sighs.

"Well I'm not paying for it." He says and you gasp.

"Does that mean we can get one?!" You exclaim moving so you were now straddling him. He smiles and puts his phone down and places his hands on your thighs.

"Yeah we can get one." He says and you cheer before kissing him sweetly. You get off of him and grab your shoes.

"Come on!" You exclaim, and Ryland groans.

"Now, why not tomrrow?" Ryland asks, you pout and grab his wrist pulling him off the bed and he stumbles to his feet.

"Because I want one now!" You say and Ryland giggles and throws on some pants and shoes.
(A/N: oof, why'd I make him/her bitchy?)

"Alright whatever, lets go." He says in a playful annoyed tone. You giggle and run out of your shared apartment to your car and jumped in and started it up with Ryland close on your tail. He gets in and you pull out of the driveway and towards the animal shelter, once you arrive you get out of the car and run to Ryland's side opening the door for him. He smiles and gets out wrapping an arm around your waist as you walk into the shelter. You smile at all the cats you saw, walking to each cage looking at them.

"I want them all! can we get two?" You ask and Ryland shakes his head.

"Absolutely not." He says and you pout, but that pout disappeared when you saw a little brown kitten with green eyes who was staring at you. You gasp and walk up to the cage, you read the information about this cat. It was a boy, he was 10 weeks old, and they found him abandoned on the side the of road. You look at Ryland and he was captivated with the cats cuteness.

"I want this one Ry, its a baby." You say and one of the workers let you hold him. You giggle at the little fluffy kitty in your hands, he was purring and licking your hand. Ryland pets him and the kitty purrs even louder, Ryland really wanted this cat, he was in love. You two decided to get the kitty, once you payed the adoption fee you both left and Ryland drove so you could love on the cat.

"What should we name him?" You ask as Ryland drives to the pet shop.

"Bear, because he looks like a little bear." He says but you shake your head.

"no that's not cute enough. How about Taco?" You say with a giggle, Ryland laughs and shrugs pulling into a PetSmart parking spot.

"Sure why not." He says and you smile getting out of the car while holding the curious Taco kitty. You both walk in and Ryland grabs a cart getting the essentials for having a cat; litter box, food, collar, toys, ect. Ryland pays while the cashier swoons over the kitty, you grab the items and head back out to the car. You start the journey back home letting Taco explore the car and wander around, once you get home you take him inside and let him explore his new home as Ryland sets up a litter box and a food and water situation. The cute cat sniffed around and jumped on top of things before settling on the couch where he started to lick himself clean. You smile and walk over to Ryland who was grabbing a sparkling water and wrap your arms around him.

"You're the best. Thank you for letting me get a kitty" you say smiling into his chest as his arms wrapped around you.

"No you're the best, I love you so much. I'm happy that you're happy." he says with so much joy for you and the new furry family member.
