Akima's POV

It's time to give Ben the cookie. But I've been talking to Jay and he agrees with me, this place isn't so bad. So we decided to talk to Mal before she gives Ben the cookie. "Are you feeling kind of weird about this?" I ask her.

"What's trying to say. It's not so bad here, you know" Jay states. I nod my head in agreement.

"Are you both insane? Long live evil" she tells us. "You both are mean! Awful! You both are bad news! Snap out of it" she states snapping her fingers.

"Thanks, Mal. I needed that" Jay tells her. He goes to talk to some girls. Mal had done their hair for them.

"Yeah, long live evil" I mutter sighing in defeat.

"Hey, Bennyboo!" Mal says smiling at Ben once Audrey left him and Cassim. They both greet us. As Mal holds up a zip lock bag with a single cookie inside. "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" she asks him.

"They were quiet good" I add.

"Oh, I, uh, I've got a big game. I don't eat before a big game. But thank you so, so much. Thank you. Next time" Ben tells Mal.

"No, yeah. I completely understand" she says fawning sadness. "Be careful of treats offered by kids of villains" she says.

"No" Ben tells her.

"No, I'm sure every kid in Auradon knows that" Mal tells him.

"No, that's not it. No, no, no, I... I really do" Ben tells her as she takes the cookie out of the bag.

"No, I get it. You're cautious. That's smart. Oh, well, more for me, I guess" Mal states and goes to ate the cookie. But Ben takes it from her and takes a big bite out of it.

"Hey... see that? Totally trust you. Totally" he assures her.

"How are they?" Mal asks him.

"They're good. They're great" he states.

"I wish there was one for me" Cassim tells me.

"Maybe we could bake some after the game" I suggest.

"I mean, uh, you know, the... The chocolate... The... the chocolate... The chocolate chips are... I'm sorry. Um... Uh, they're... They're warm and soft. And they're sweet... Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" Ben asks as Mal takes the cookie back. Jay comes up behind him.

"How you feeling, bro?" Jay asks him.

" I feel... I feel like... Like singing your name. Mal" Ben sings and Mal covers his mouth.

"You ok Ben?" Cassim asks him confused.

"Never better" Ben tells him smiling brightly.

"Ok, anyway you girls can sit with Lonnie and I during the game" Cassim tells Mal and I. We nod our heads. We all go to the tourney field. Evie joins us with Lonnie. We all sit down and watched the game. When the game finished Ben grabbed the microphone.

"Excuse me. Excuse me. Can I have your attention, please? There's something I'd like to say" Ben states. "Give me a M" he says.

"M!" everyone says.

"Give me an A" he says.#

"A!" everyone repeats.

"Give me a L" Ben says.

"L!" they all say.

"What does that spell?" Ben asks us.

"Mal!" they say loudly.

"Come on, I can't hear you" he states.

"MAL!" they say louder.

"I love you, Mal! Did I mention that?" Ben asks. "Give me a beat! Whoo!" he shouts.

"Uno, dos, tres, quatro!" Doug shouts. The band begins to play some music.

"What was in that cookie?" Mal asks Evie and I. We shrug. As I try not to laugh at the look on Mal's face.

♫ C'mon now! ♫" Ben and the other tourney players sing. He's now next to Mal, who is holding his jersey. That he had thrown to her. "I love you, Mal! Did I mention that?" Ben asks her.

Audrey appears with Chad. "Chad's my boyfriend now!" she states and gives him a peck "And I'm going to the coronation with him. So I don't need your pity date" she tells Ben.

"Whoa!" everyone says surprised.

"Mal! Will you go to the coronation with me?" Ben asks handing her the mike.

"Yes" she says into it.

"She said yes!" he cheers.

"Let's go, Ben. The whole team's waiting for you" Jay tells him.

"Yeah" Ben says.

"Bye" Mal says and Ben rejoined his team.

"I don't what you guys did, but I'm grateful and so is Ben" Cassim tells me.

"Why?" I ask him confused.

"He's been trying to dump Audrey for weeks. He finally got the courage to do so, thanks you Mal" he states. "By the way, I have a question for you" he tells me.

"Oh, what sort of question?" I ask him curious. While Mal gives Evie a peep talk.

"It's about coronation" he tells me. "I was wondering if you'd go with me?" he asks.

"Oh, I" I say unsure how to feel. Lonnie gives me a nod from behind his head. "A sure, but can my friends sit with us?" I ask him.

"Of course" he tells me smiling. "Well Mal will be with Ben and his family. But the other three can sit with us" he states.

"Thank you" I say as Jay was made the most valuable player. We all cheered. And there was a party that night celebrating our school's victory over the other team.
