My thoughts keep me company until three am until they finally let me go. I drift into restless sleep only to wake to a world that's ending. Rush out of the door and throw my breakfast in the trash and sit at a desk and watch hours pass. I stare at pages and watch the words drift in and out of focus and wake up with marks from my jacket printed on my skin. Trying my hardest but it's just not enough trying to smile as I watch him laugh. My head is fogged and screaming at me. How could you be so stupid and actually believe. Laying in bed with salty streams on my cheeks my hand over my mouth to stop the sounds. Untill restless sleep pulls at my body and tells me it's time to do it again.
