Never say Never

Next day came around, and Lee-diot was still in his usual pissy teen mood. Obviously, I mean he's not gonna let my slip-up go that easily.

But I honestly did not give a shit about it.

I have no clue what Nick and Chris did last night, maybe they stuttered some flustered stupid sentences to each other, blushed like high school girls and called it a day.

But I knew how today was gonna go.

We were gonna go rob a bank again.

You most likely don't know this since I haven't mentioned it last chapter, but we go bank robbing every Monday and Friday.

We picked Monday because everyone hates that day and banks are sloppy as heck, so many sleep-deprived and annoyed people leading it. I know this from experience.

And we also go on Friday, simply because it's such a casual day, people relax too much and never expect a thing.

I hopped out of bed, put some clothes on that matched my stunning personality and looks and practically slid down the stairs.

Lee was already down, in the kitchen, making his coffee because he's a total wimp and can't wake up otherwise.

I always say this, but if you drink coffee every morning and even in the afternoon or something, there's something seriously wrong with you. Especially if you drink it with MILK.

Learn to coffee properly! Make it black like my soul!

No, I take that back, my soul is colorful and bright like my wonderful self! So make it black like Lee's hair.

I don't care if he says it's "dark brown", it's fucking black, smartass. Don't you dare argue with me about colors. I might be slightly color blind but that doesn't mean I'm dumb with colors!

I glanced at the living room and saw my partner-in-crime friend number two -the polite one- sitting on the couch, reading a daily newspaper. As far as I'm aware, I thought that's something you do on the toilet.

I looked around again but didn't see Nick anywhere. He was probably taking a shower, that neat freak.

I plopped down at the table in the kitchen, deciding to annoy Lee, like usual. He looked up from making his stupid drowned-in-milk coffee on the counter and straight into my eyes. My beautiful hazel eyes, not the boring brown like Lee's, not mud green like Nick's, nor the stupid sky blue which Christofer has.

"The hell you want?" he spoke up and I snapped out of my eye color ranting, a smirk growing on my expression as I rested my head in my hand.

"Just your moral obedience, my dude." I grinned and he simply scoffed.

Doing his usual Lee-scoff again. I'm used to it.

"In your dreams," he grumbled, turning back to making his wimp drink.

Ha! Wimp drink. I like that, I'm gonna use that from now on. I'm so smart.

"I actually prefer dreaming about all the bankers dropping down to their knees in front of me to beg for me to spear their money," I responded casually, fixing my hair. Oh how I hate sleep, it fucks up my gorgeous hair.

"That's not gonna happen. All the bankers are busy trying to get your ass in prison." Lee responded in his typical moody tone.

I hummed. "You and I both know they're not even close to figuring out who I am. Just like any of you. My masks are too great." I flipped my hair.

"Speaking of masks," another voice started, and I looked up to see Mr. Goody-two-shoes in the doorway, his posture neat as usual and his voice monotone. "I'd like to bring up the option to maybe change the...design of my mask? It's only an idea, boss," he spoke firmly.

I hummed again, this time cocking a brow. "You mean you don't like it?"

"Not exactly, sir," he responded, no falter in his voice whatsoever.

Lee grumbled something under his breath as he finally finished making his wimp drink and went to sit at the table, making sure to pick the seat farthest away from me.

"How come, Chris? I thought you were satisfied and content with everything I do for you." I said, putting both my elbows on the table and resting my face on the back of my hands.

"Well-"

"I thought you never had problems involving things like this." I cut him off temptingly, curious if Chris would snap or not.

I underestimated him big time.

He cleared his throat, letting out an exhale to relax. "That is all true, sir. I just thought maybe it'd be time for some... change? I've always been patient with you, and I understand if I'm not worth your time."

Goddammit, I almost felt bad for him. Almost. But then I saw Lee's stupid face again and my attitude went back from pitiful to normal.

"What's your problem with the mask?" I inquired, and while I asked, Nick walked in the kitchen without a word, listening to our conversation shyly but curiously.

"Well, I simply think it might just be too... how do I put it..." he trailed off.

"Girly?" Lee tilted his head, guessing what he was hinting at, and the other just nodded in confirmation.

"It's too girly for you?" I shook my head, acting like I was disappointed. "You know how long and much it took me to get a mask like that?"

Chris gritted his teeth in panic. "Yes, of course! I'm sorry I asked, sir." he put his head down in shame.

I just smirked, which Lee noticed and glared at me for making Christofer ashamed.

"It is kinda girly..." he whispered to himself while stirring his stupid coffee. I just rolled my eyes.

"Do you also have a problem with your mask, Nick?" I glanced at the other boy in expectation, raising a brow.

The boy jolted up at the sudden call and stammered, shaking his head almost violently. "N-no sir!" he stuttered, scared. "I-I would never!"

"Never say never." I cooed before standing up from the table, walking out of the room.

I had enough of these morons.
