005 | Darkness

"The good news is, Ruby finally woke up." Weiss' supervisor spoke, making Weiss' eyes widen, and have her spit out her tea. She narrowed her eyes and looked over at her supervisor, who sweatdropped in return.
"Why was I not informed the minute she woke up, like I asked?" She asked in a dark tone, making the supervisor sigh. He waved it off, and stood up, excusing himself with a bow. Weiss just nodded, quickly finished her tea and stood up, tucking in her chair before she ran to her room, getting out of her clothes and into her daily outfit and running to the executive hospital room Weiss had ordered Ruby to be placed in.
​​​​​"Ms Schnee! Please, no running!"
"I JUST MISSED MY GIRLFRIEND WAKING UP, I WILL RUN IF I WANT TO." Weiss declared angrily, skidding to a halt at Ruby's door and pushing it open.
"Weiss!" Ruby smiled at her girlfriend as she entered the room. Weiss just stood in a shocked, emotional silence that her little rose had awoken, before charging forward and hugging her close.
Now Ruby Rose was safe, in her arms.

It took five months. Five months for Yang to forgive herself for Blake's doing. Everything she had dreamed about doing with Blake gone in an instant. Five months to stare at the ribbon in her hands and realize Blake wasn't a Faunus.
She was a monster.
And Yang hated her. Every inch of her being, every small and beautiful detail, every imperfection.
But nothing could stop her breaking down over the Faunus she had always loved.
In all honesty, Yang just wanted it to be over. She wanted to wake up from this nightmare. She wanted to hold Blake in her arms, to see Ruby with Weiss without a scar, but the only memories of Blake were those ones. The ones Yang would never let die, because those were the only ones.
She wanted Blake Belladonna to be safe, in her arms.

Blake had a burning desire to be safe. The nightmares always followed her. The ones of Ruby's innocent, terrified face.
Even as she curled up in the chair in the home she lived in now, the darkness tormented her. Telling her she had killed Ruby Rose. Telling her she was a villain, just like all Faunus.
But even I can't stop these demons, it's in the Shadow Defect. I'm cursed for life.
Even as the tears fell down her face, she would not stop the nightmares.
Ruby... Weiss... Yang...
the memories.
They were her's. And she wanted them to stay, even if they tourmented her.
