Raphna: Age 5
Zancrow: Age 8

  "EVIL DEMON!!!!" A little girl yelled as she push a smaller girl down.
  "IM NOT A DEMON!!!! IM A SHADOW GOD SLAYER!!!!!" The little girl yelled back.

  "SAME THING!!" The other girl snapped back.
  "ITS A KIND OF MAGIC!!! IM NOT EVIL!!!!" The white haired girl yelled.
   "BUT IT KILLS GODS AND SHADOWS ARE EVIL!!! THAT MAKES YOU EVIL!!!!" The black haired girl yelled.
  "I-I...uh..."the white haired girl stuttered.
  "AND YOU WERE BORN WITH THAT WEIRD WHITE HAIR AND PURPLE EYES!!!!"
  The girl was silent. Crying to herself. "I-I'm not evil."
  "HEY!!! LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!" A boy yelled. He ran to the white haired girl cradling her.

"Awww look. Someone actually cares for this evil witch." The black hair girl teased.
"Raphna isn't evil! It isn't her fault she was born with this power!! If being a God Slayer means your evil then so am I!!!" The boy yelled glaring at the black haired girl through his dirty, messy, blonde hair with his red eyes.
"You guys are perfect together. Why don't you guys just go off together!" The girl scoffed.
  "ONE DAY WE WILL AND ONE DAY I WILL MARRY HER JUST TO KEEP HER SAFE!!!" The boy yelled.
  "Zancrow..." the white haired girl, Raphna called.
  "Ewww. You would marry a girl like her and keep her safe? You are stupid! She's evil and needs to die."
  "SHES AN AMAZING GIRL AND SHE DOESNT DESERVE TO BE TREATED THE EAY SHE IS!!! NOW SAY SORRY BEFORE I MAKE YOU PAY!!!" The boy, Zancrow yelled.
"Make me!" The girl yelled.
Zancrow stood up and black flames arrises from his body. The girl starts getting scared and backed into a wall.
Raphna stood up and hugged Zancrow from behind. "Zan, please calm down. I'm fine. Leave her alone." She whispered in his ear.
"But Raph I-"
"Please Zan, for me?" She begged.
The boy sighed glancing back at the girl. "Fine. For you Raph, I'll let her live."
"Thanks Zan." She smiled nuzzling into his neck.
"Whatever. Let's just go. Ms.Rosalee wanted to talk with us anyways." Zancrow sighed and turned to Raphna.
Raphna nodded and grabbed Zancrow's hand. They both walked hand in hand to the orphanage and their care taker told them they were both being adopted. They both ran to their rooms and started packing their things.
"OH MY GOD SLAYER!!!! ZANCROW WE'RE BEING ADOPTED!!!" Raphna yelled.
"I KNOW ITS SO EXCITING!!!" Zancrow yelled back.
"I can't believe it...we're finally going to have a home." Raphna said longingly.
"I know. Don't worry though. No matter who adopts us, I'm still marring you when we grow up even if the person makes us call each other brother and sister." He smiled.
She smiled back. "But wouldn't that be weird? I mean legally you would be my brother...how would that work?"
The boy shrugged. "I'll find a way!"
Raphna giggled. "Yeah yeah. I can't wait to met them! Do you think they will be nice? WAIT! What if they think we're monsters because we're God Slayers?"
"It doesn't matter. If they do then we'll run away. But no matter what I'm going to be right by your side." Zancrow smiled.
"Thanks Zan!" Raphna shot him a bright, large smile.

A few days later a rather tall, muscular, blonde male came to pick up the two. He introduced himself as Precht Gaebolg.
(Obviously the one to the left. Or the younger one.)

 
  After a few years, Zancrow and Raphna have been trained to use their magic to their advantage.

Raphna: Age 10
Zancrow: Age 13

  "RAPHNA!!!! WAKE UP!!!!" A familiar male voice yelled jumping on my bed.
  "Zan~ let me sleep~" I moaned covering my face with my comforter.
  "NO!!! COME ON!! WE'RE GONNA HAVE FUN TODAY!!!" Zan yelled
  I whined. "Zan!!!!"
  "Raph~ come on~" Zan purred in my ear.
  "Zan~ get away." I moaned again.
  "But Raph~ I said we were gonna have fun today~" He continued to purr in my ear.
  "I call sexual harassment." I groaned.
  Zan laughed. "How was that sexual harassment?"
  "That sounded wrong." I giggled.
  "Shut up! Just get up!!!" Zan yelled as he jumped on my bed.
  "Dude your 13 stop jumping on my bed." I whined.
  "No! Get up!!" Zan yelled as he sat on me.
  "Boy. Get off me." I said emotionlessly starring back at him.
  "No. You gotta make me." He said confidently.
  "You don't want that Zan. Remember the last time you said that?" I asked.
  "Whatever. I'm stronger now so I can take it!"
  "Whatever you say dumb dumb." I smirked. "Shadow God's arm!"
  My shadow turned into an arm and pushed Zan against the wall.
  He groaned and slid down the wall. "Good one Raph."
  I giggled and sat up. "Alright stupid. I'm up."
  "Good now go get dressed." Zan said standing up.
  "Well you need to get out first." I giggled.
  "It's not like I haven't seen you like that before." Zan winked.
  I scoffed. "Perv."
  "HEY!!! I GREW UP WITH YOU SO CUT ME SOME SLACK!!!" He yelled a bit flustered.
  I giggled again. "Sure~"
  "SHUT UP!!"
  "Now can you get out so I can get dressed?" I asked getting up and stretching. I was wearing one of Master's, or Hades aka Precht's, button up shirts that were to small for him. I was too lazy and nervous to ask him for other pajamas. It was actually pretty comfortable so I wasn't complaining.
  "Nah." Zan smirked.
  "Ok then. Shadow God's Scythe!!" I yelled as my shadow turned into a scythe and I hit him as my shadow opened the door for him to fly out.
  He again hit the wall and groaned in pain. "Fine. I'm out. You win."
  I smirked. "I always win!" My shadow closed the door and I sighed. I whistled and my shadow came back. I smiled lightly looking down at my shadow and waved to it. It waved back. I started unbuttoning the shirt. While I unbuttoned the shirt I walked over to my dresser and picked out a gray hoodie and black jeans. I got dressed and walked out.
  "ZAN!!! IM OUT!!!" I called.
  "RAPH!!!" Zane waved. He was sitting at the table as Master was making breakfast. I smiled and sat next to him.
  "Good morning Raphna." Master smiled.
  "Morning Master." I said nodding my head as a way of bowing.
  "So are you ready to train today?" Master asked.
  "Yes sir!" I smiled.
  "Oh now your excited?!? How come you weren't excited when I came to wake you up?!?" Zan
asked.
  "Because I was tired!" I pouted.
  "Enough kids. Time to eat." Master said giving a plate with eggs and bacon on it.
  "Arigato." We both said putting our left fist in he palm of our right hands and bowed our heads.
  Master bowed his head in return and left the room. We started eating and when we were finished we washed our dishes.
  "What do you think we are going to learn today?" Zan asked.
  "I don't know. OH I HOPE WE LEARN OUR BELLOW!!!" I exclaimed.
  "Oh yeah! God's Bellow. Yeah maybe!" Zan smiled.
  "CHILDREN!!! LETS GET STARTED!!!" Master yelled and we ran to the training room. We stood side by side and straight up.
  "Today you two are learning your Bellows." Master announced.
  "YES!!!" I yelled. Master looked at me confused. "Gomen."
  "Anyways, are you two ready?" Master asked shrugging off my sudden out burst.
  "Yes Master." We said in unison bowing.
  "Alright. Now, Raphna, get a big bite of my shadow. Zancrow, go get my torch." Master commanded.
  "Hai Sensei." We both said and did as commanded. I inhaled Masters shadow but it immediately came back. Zancrow came back with Master's torch and Master shot the torch with his magic and lit it. Zancrow began eating the fire.
  "Alright. Now, Raphna, take a deep breath and hold your magic energy in your stomach. Concentrate then blow." Master explained.
  Raphna took a deep breath and focused her magic energy in her stomach. "Shadow God's Bellow!" I yelled as I held my hands to my mouth and blew through them. A small trail of shadows came from my hands. I sighed.
  "Try again." Master commanded.
  I nodded and tried again. "Shadow God's BELLOW!" I yelled and blew through my hands. A big ball of shadows came from my hands pushing Master back. "MASTER I DID IT!!!"
  "Good job Raph. Your turn Zan." Master nodded.

  All day we trained. After we finished we were commanded to go to our rooms and go to bed. Zancrow went to his room and I decided to go get a snack before I leave. I heard Master talking to someone.
  "Look the Fire God Slayer is doing perfect as planned. Now the Shadow God Slayer on the other hand...she's a bit slow. She got the Bellow on the second try as usual. The Fire God Slayer gets it on the first try......yes. I see. I can't get ride of her. She's still useful." Master said to someone in the room. I didn't care who it was. (The person he's talking to is not important to the story.)
  I ran to my room crying, and started packing my things. I'm sorry Zan. I'm not as powerful as you so I have to go. I hope you understand. I thought.
  There was a knock on my door.
  "C-Come in." I stuttered.
  "Raph? Are you ok?" Zancrow asked.
  "Kinda. I have to go." I said sadly as I put my clothes in my backpack.
  "Why? I thought we were having fun! I thought we finally had a good thing going on. Why would you want to leave?" Zan asked gently pushing me on the bed to sit down.
  "Because I heard Master say I'm not as powerful as you. He was told to get rid of me but he said I'm still useful." I said looking down.
  "Because you are! I don't care what anyone says. You still my little Raph and I'm not letting you go." He said holding my hand.
  "I'm not little anymore Zan. I can't stay. I'm just going to cause trouble. I hope you understand." I said sliding my hand from his and grabbing my backpack. He grabbed my wrist.
  "Please dot leave Raph. You'll all I have left. If you leave then I'm going to be all alone." Zancrow cried.
  I smiled slightly. I put a hand on his cheek and kissed his other cheek in a friendly way. "I don't want to hold you down. Promise me that one day everyone is going to know your name. That you're going to do something amazing."
  "I promise. Now you have to make me a promise." Zan said blushing a bit.
  "Anything." I smiled.
  "Promise me you will stay safe and one day we are going to see each other again. And when we do see each other, you're going to have a family and friends and a house and heathy." Zan said softly.
  "I promise. Remember to keep standing up for what's right ok?"
  "No problem Raph. Take care alright." Zan said kissing my head and smiled at me. I nodded and turned into a shadow and walked through the window.
