As the eons passed, the presence only grew stronger.

When the first child was born Grey, we knew that the Colour of mortal souls was no longer enough to hold the silence at bay. We knew that they would need to harness a second tool, a tool that could directly combat the silence, yet no matter how we sang, their souls could not hear us.

They would need something more: an anchor, a physical embodiment of our essence.

We could not allow one of the Titan's greatest enemies to escape from the prison we had helped to create.
