(Shard's Third Person POV)
Shard stiffened as he heard Flower and Draco suddenly stop talking, and their paw steps got louder. "Well well well, you seem scared Shard." Flower purred, a glint in her eyes. "Afraid we'll rip your eyes out, like Mooneye did to Black?" Draco whispered tauntingly on his left side, inbetween Amber and Shard. Shard screwed his eyes shut, gripping the twig in between his claws. He heard movement from one of the cages to his left. "Hello, brother. Why do rude?" Crescent's deep voice meowed. Shard opened his eyes and blinked in surprise. Draco scowled and shot a glare at Crescent. "Shut up mouse brain. After all, you're the one that betrayed his own family. You're number three on sister's kill list." He retorted silkily. The black Tom got on his paws, a glint in his eyes. "Tell Mooneye to shove her head in fox dung." He spat. Shard widened his eyes in surprise, and Amber rose to her paws, almost making the cage fall over. "You're her brother?" Shard roared in outrage, seething. Amber snarled at Shard. "He's good! He's been my friend, and he hates Mooneye." She growled defensively. Shard huffed and turned away. "Eeeeek!" Silk squeaked as Flower circled her cage. Crescent bared his teeth at Draco. Amber looked at Shard as if saying 'do it!'. Shard turned away from them as Amber and Crescent hissed and growled, clawing the wire. Shard held the twig in his muzzle and poked it out again, adjusting it so the larger side hit the 'lock'. He picked at it and suddenly the cage swung open. Crescent, Silk, and Amber growled louder, hiding the noise. Shard held the cage door shut with his claws as Draco and Flower turned to stare at him. "Mooneye will speak with you tomorrow." Flower growled, grinning widely. And with that, the two rogues turned and padded away. Silk sighed in relief as they left. Shard pushed the door open and clambered out, fluffing out his fur. He went over to Amber's cage first and clawed at the lock. It sprung open and the brown she cat jumped out, grinning gratefully. They moved over to the other cats and forced the cages open.

(Black's Third Person POV)
Black paced the camp, Mouse hot on her tail, worry clouding her gaze. Shard hasn't been back all day. Did he get kidnapped? Black fretted. At that moment Shade burst into camp with Red and Scar following. "There was no scent trail." Shade said worriedly, her gaze flicking back to the camp entrance. "I hope he's okay." Red murmured. Scar blinked at her and turned away quickly. Black looked down at her paws. "Is it my fault he left? Is he still mad at me?" She whispered. Shade shook her head. "It's not your fault." She meowed, resting her tail on the worried she- cat's back.

(Shard's Third Person POV)
Shard raced along the Twoleg streets with Crescent and Amber. Silk was slowing down, her long fur fluffed out in fear. "What if they find out? They're faster than all of us! What will we do? Slow down!" Silk wailed. The three cats slowed down. Amber snarled and paced around as Silk skittered over to them. "Let's just walk, we can't leave eachother behind." Amber growled, stopping to claw at her collar. Shard came over and tugged at the collar, and eventually it snapped. The brown she cat looked up at him, grinning. "Thanks." She purred. "That thing itches." She added. Shard nodded, amusement in his eyes. The four cats trotted along, watching monsters running along the Thunderpath. I hope Black and the others are okay. They probably are, now that I'm gone, he thought bitterly. Amber's fur brushed against Shard and he stiffened slightly. "Uh..." Shard murmured, glancing over at her. Crescent snorted in amusement and Silk happily looked around. "We're here!" The white she cat exclaimed, hurtling at full speed towards a Twoleg nest. Shard, Amber, and Crescent stood back as a Twoleg opened the door, yowling in surprise and joy. It scooped Silk up in it's pale paws and stroked her. Silk purred and looked over at her friends. "Thanks you guys!" She squeaked as the Twoleg carried her into the nest. Shard looked at Crescent and Amber. Now what? Shard thought.
