(Black's Third Person POV)
Shade reared up and slammed her paws down, barely missing Black's back. Black spun around and lunged at Shade, throwing weak blows. Shade swerved, avoiding a heavier blow, and tackled Black to the ground. Grabbing her scruff softly, she pinned the younger cat down. "Good job, Black. You're getting better." She meowed. "Thanks, but I don't think that. I still think I'm not that good because I have one eye that's partly scratched." She grumbled. Shade rolled her eyes. "I'm not listening to you talk bad about yourself. Go get something to eat." She meowed, releasing Black. The younger cat got up, shaking out her fur, and trotted deeper into the forest. She felt like someone was watching her and looked up into a tree. In the tree sat a handsome- He's not handsome! Black thought quickly, flustered. -black Tom with gray paws and a gray tail. "Heya Squirrel!" She yelled teasingly. The Tom smirked and leapt down, landing next to Black. He quickly tackled her, pinning the she cat down. "I don't think a squirrel could take down a cat." He shot back, releasing her. Black looked down. "It's possible, for me. After all, I lost my eye not too long ago." She murmured. The tom's eyes softened a bit. "Oh, I'm sorry." He said quickly. "By the way, my name is Mouse," He added. Black got up, looking Mouse up and down. "I'm Black. Funny how my pelt is white, and I'm named after my black tail." She joked. Mouse laughed softly. "Well, nice meeting you. I'll see you around." He said, walking away and leaping back up the tree. Black followed him up. "W- Wait! I could use some company, I'm bored of my friends." She squeaked. Mouse looked back, eyes filled with amusement. "Fine. Only if you agree to keep this a secret." He said quietly, eyes glimmering with mischief. Black nodded eagerly. "Okay!" She agreed happily, sitting down next to the Tom. She stiffened slightly as Mouse scooted closer, their fur brushing. "It's weird for me to say this since we just met, but I like you." He confessed. Black looked up at him, heart pounding. Mouse looked out of the tree, watching the wildlife. The silence was broken by a yowl. "Black! Where are you!" She heard Scar yowl. Black jumped to her paws. "I gotta go! Meet me here tomorrow?" She asked the surprised Tom. He nodded and waved his tail in farewell as the she cat leapt down, tripping slightly, and bounded away. Black stopped and scented a mouse. I should catch it so they don't get suspicious, She thought. She quickly caught it and trotted into the small clearing.

Meh, I felt a bit lazy with this chapter. Good thing I got it done, I forgot to update yesterday. I can imagine LizzieLou102  is fangirling right now because I brought her OC Mouse in. Anywho, BAIIII! LURV CHU ALL!
