Chapter 19: The Fall of Solis Prime

Elara and the rebels waited at a safe distance, hearts pounding as they watched Solis Prime from afar. The power grid flickered, lights blinking on and off as Kade navigated through the station.

Then, a blinding flash lit up the sky as the explosives went off in sequence, one after another. The sound of shattering glass and crumbling steel filled the air as the city's infrastructure began to collapse.

For a brief moment, Elara saw Kade's silhouette against the flames, standing tall as the explosions engulfed the station. Then, he was gone, lost to the chaos.

Solis Prime descended into darkness, its towering spires falling one by one as the entire city crumbled from within. The rebels watched in awe and sorrow as the Ascendants' stronghold, the symbol of their oppression, was brought to ruin.

The Ascendants' guards, disoriented and unprepared, scattered in panic, while the Echoes who had been enslaved seized the moment to rise. The city was no longer theirs; it belonged to the people.
