With their numbers diminished, the rebels grew more determined. Raya called an emergency meeting in the heart of the wilderness, outlining her boldest plan yet: an infiltration of the Ascendants' main city, Solis Prime, to strike directly at the heart of their government.

As Raya detailed the mission, Elara's stomach churned. Solis Prime was heavily fortified, a labyrinth of towering steel walls, drones, and soldiers. No Echo had ever breached it and survived. But Elara knew this was their only chance to shift the balance.

"Kade and I will take the east entry point," Elara volunteered, voice steady, though her hands were trembling. Kade shot her a reassuring look.
