-Zeref P. O. V.-

After I proposed to Mavis, she fainted after saying yes. I smiled and picked her up and put her in our bed. I slept next to her, happy that I will have a happy life, now and forever.

Nothing can ruin this.

-The Next Morning-

I woke up and Mavis wasn't in bed. I figured she had run ahead to tell Warrod and the others about our engagement. I put my cloak back on, put my hood up, and left the apartment.

I walked along the street, admiring the bright morning. I thought about our future. Maybe I could find a way to make Mavis immortal too so we could live together forev-

"Ivan!"

I hear Yury's voice and I look ahead to see him and Precht waiting for me.

"You couldn't wait until I get to the guild?" I ask with a smirk.

"Yeah. We needed to tell you congratulations before the entire guild celebrates!"

"Excuse me?" The entire guild? Do they know about my true identity?

"Yes. Master Mavis told everyone that she is marrying her true love 'Ivan,' the man who helped with the birth of Fairy Tail. You are a very lucky pair." Precht said with his sincere smile.

I calmed down a bit and turned to Yury. "I told you we wouldn't get married before you."

I shot him a smirk as he let out a chuckle. "Yeah, yeah. Now let's get to the guild! We got partying to do!"

The three of us walked to the guild, talking about other things. Mostly the engagement and my future with Mavis. It was nice to have good friends.

-At the guild-

As we opened the doors, every head turned towards us. It was dead quiet. Warrod wasn't even cracking any jokes. Yury spoke up after a second.

"Is this a party or a funeral? Let's celebrate my good friend Ivan here, guys!"

No-one moved. Everyone just sat there, staring as if waiting for something. Suddenly, I was tackled by something. I looked up and saw...

Mavis

"We're going to get married!"

That's when everybody cheered. Everybody got up and started cheering us. People were drinking at the bar, patting us on the back, congratulating us, and clapping. Warrod was laughing, Yury was smirking, and Mavis couldn't stop smiling.

Neither could I.

-Hours later, late at night.-

I woke up on the floor of the guild. I looked around the guild and saw everyone passed out.

Warrod was laughing in his sleep, Yury was cuddling with a barrel, and Precht was lying on a table. Those guys sure are fun. I looked around and Mavis was nowhere to be seen. She must've gone home already. Neither was Rita and Makarov. (A/N: Yury told him about his name on the way to the guild, earlier.) Can't blame her. I wouldn't want a baby to spend a night with a bunch of drunken fools, either. Best not to leave Mavis waiting. I got up and headed home.

-Another time skip to the apartment. About 20 minutes.-

I walked upstairs and saw Mavis reading a book.

"Hello, Mavis." She put down the book and jumped into my arms immediately.

"Hello Zeref. Welcome home."

I took my cloak off and sat down next to her on the bed. "So, what are you reading?"

She showed me the cover of the book. "It's this romantic novel about an adventurer who goes after a lost treasure with his best friends. They get kidnapped and have to find a way to escape the city with help from another group of kidnapped people, who are led by this badass swordfighter girl who is the love interest of the guy." She looked real happy. "I'm at the end where the two got married and live together! I think they are about to do... you know what..."

She blushed a bright red, as did I. "O-oh... that's n-nice..."

She tapped her fingers. "Say, Z-Zeref... d-do you think... w-we'll ever..."

"W-what do you m-mean, M-Mavis?"

I had an idea of what she meant, but I was a bit nervous.

"Do you think w-we'll... ever do... t-that...?"

I nodded slowly. "S-someday... if we want k-kids... Though, since I'm immortal, I'm already at l-legal age to... we just have to w-wait for you..."

Mavis blushed brighter. Oh wait... Oh yeah... "Oh yeah... you ARE at the l-legal age now... after t-those 11 y-years..."

We sat in silence for a few moments. She broke the silence. "D-do... you w-want... to do it... n-now?"

We both blushed to our ears.

I slowly nodded.

We lied back in the bed and pulled the covers over us. We slowly took off our clothes and pushed them out from under the covers.

We scooted closer to each other and cuddled. After a few moments, I rolled on top of her and we began. We did it.

We did what lovers do best.
