Josie Saltzman sat at a lunch table alone, waiting for Hope Mikaelson to join her, when someone sat in the seat across from her. "Someone's actually sitting-" She looked up to see Justin Foley. "What the fuck do you want."

"Just wanted to ask how Lizzie took the list?"

"Why do you care. You wrote her name down anyways."

Justin shook his head before scratching the back of his neck. "It wasn't me. It was actually Bryce."

"Holy fuck." Josie furrowed her eyebrows. "Really?"

"Yeah." He looked around the cafeteria before making eye contact with Josie again. "I put you down."

Josie scoffed. "Yeah, okay. I know Zach was the one to do it."

"Nah. It was me."

"I don't know if I believe you, but okay, we'll go with that." Josie looked down at the salad in front of her. "Did Zach happen to say anything to you today about me?"

"Why?" Justin questioned Josie. "Did you two finally fuck?"

Josie's eyes widened before she shook her head rapidly. "No. No." She scrunched up her nose, feeling a bit awkward talking about the situation. "He told me he liked me last night, and I kind of told him I liked him back."

"Fuck." Justin sighed. "I owe Monty and Bryce twenty bucks."

"What?"

"They thought you were totally into him, but I didn't think so." Justin shrugged as he leaned back in his seat. "He just doesn't seem like the kind of guy you'd be into."

Josie laughed at the boy. "How do you know what I'm into? I've never even had a fucking boyfriend. I don't even know what I'm into."

Justin smirked. "I can just tell these things about girls."
