"Do you actually think he's going to show up?" Jessica Davis giggled as looked over Josie Saltzman's mustard bottle costume.

Josie nodded, trying to put her backpack over her back, but she failed. "He promised me he would be here."

"And I don't break the promises I make to Josie."

The two girls turned around to see Justin Foley in a ketchup bottle costume, and Jessica began to laugh hysterically. Justin frowned, sending Josie a glare. She was trying her hardest to contain her laughter, but it all came out. "I hate you." Justin crossed his arms over his chest.

"If you hated me you wouldn't have showed up." Josie sent the boy a wink. "It's going to be great, okay. Hope and I win every year, so I know what wins and what doesn't win. And this-" She motioned to herself and Justin, "this is a shoo-in."

Justin rolled his eyes. "I can't believe you actually got him to do it!" Jessica was still laughing at Justin's costume. "I'm sorry, Justin, but this kind of seems like a costume Josie would wear, so it's not as funny seeing her in it. You, on the other hand...."

"Yeah, I get it. It's funny." Justin snapped at her.

Josie sent Justin a warm smile. "Don't listen to her, okay. I think this was a great idea, and I'm really happy that you showed up."

Justin's frown turned in a smile as he wrapped his arm around Josie, hugging her. She let out a tiny grunt when their costumes clashed together. "Holy shit!" Josie looked to see Hope Mikaelson standing in her Hogwarts robes. "Josie, I'm actually really happy we didn't pair up this year, because this is absolutely priceless." Hope took out her phone and snapped a picture of the two.
