13.0 I Think I Just Ate A Frog
"What are you doing in here?" Justin Foley questioned Josie Saltzman as he stood up from the bed he had been sitting on.
Josie crinkled her nose. "I thought this was the bathroom."
"This isn't the bathroom."
"I know that now." The girl giggled. "What are you doing here?"
Justin shrugged, looking around the room. "I just thought I needed to take a little break from the party, so I came in here." He looked back at Josie. "Are you having fun?"
Josie nodded. "I lost at suck and blow."
"Shit. Who'd you kiss?"
"I almost kissed Jessica."
Justin chuckled, looking the girl up and down. "I meant what I said earlier. You do look good tonight."
Josie frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. "Why is everyone saying that to me?"
"Who else said it?"
"Zach."
The boy's expression dropped as he nodded. "So, are you two really going to get back together?"
"I don't really know anymore." Josie spoke, looking down at the ground. "He hasn't talked to me all summer." She sat down on the bed.
"That's a dick move." Justin scoffed, running his fingers through his hair. "He doesn't deserve you." He moved to sit down next to her.
Josie chuckled. "That's not true."
Justin shook his head, looking down at his hands. "I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but he had sex this summer."
"What?"
"Yeah, uh- he was talking to me earlier this summer and was asking questions about the right way to go around things." Justin looked back up at Josie and instantly regretted telling her. She looked as if she were about to start crying. "I thought he was meaning you, and that you had gotten back together. I guess not."
Josie nodded, staring down at her hands. "I mean, we're broken up, so I shouldn't be upset, right?"
"Jo, you have every right to be upset." Justin moved closer to the girl, placing his arm around her and bringing her closer to his body. "I'm so sorry."
"Whatever." Josie let out a sigh, sitting up. "He's not my boyfriend anymore."
"I remember you telling me that you really didn't even like him." The girl's eyebrows furrowed as she looked up at Justin. "After the dance, you were still pretty drunk, and it just kind of popped out." Josie nodded, looking down at the ground. "You shouldn't waste your life being with someone you don't actually like."
A smile appeared across Josie's lips. "You're right." She looked back up at Justin.
"I am?" He chuckled, glancing down at Josie's lips. "You're so fucking pretty." Josie giggled in response, causing Justin's eyes to widen. "Did I just say that?"
"Yeah, you did." She brushed a piece of hair behind her ear.
Justin nodded, standing up from the bed. "I'm going to get back to the party." With his back to Josie, he walked to the door, and she stood up from the bed.
"So, you're not going to kiss me or anything?"
Justin stopped walking as soon as he heard her speak. He turned around, smirking, before making his way back to the girl in front of him. "Fuck, you don't know how long I've wanted to do this." Justin spoke before pressing his lips against Josie's. She felt him smirk as she kissed him back, his hands landing on her waist. The girl smiled, her arms wrapping around his neck. She let out a soft moan as his lips moved down to her neck, immediately finding a soft spot to suck on. "Fuck." She let out a gasp, pulling on his hair softly.
Justin pulled away and looked down at Josie. "Fuck, you're beautiful." He spoke before she kissed him once again, pulling at the hem on his shirt. Justin pulled away only to take off his shirt, and returned to kissing her immediately. Josie felt his hands move around her thighs, and he picked her up. Her legs wrapped around his waist as she kissed him.

The brunette girl smiled, slipping her shirt back over her body. She let out a giggle as she felt Justin wrap his arms around her from behind. She felt her phone buzz, and she glanced down to see a text from Jessica Davis.
'Where the fuck are you?'
"Shit." Josie sighed, standing up. "I got to get back to Jess."
Justin stood up from the bed, picking his shirt up. "Yeah." He nodded, throwing his shirt on.
Josie smiled, turning to the boy. She felt her cheeks heat up as she looked down at the ground. "That was- uh- my first time." Josie shifted her weight awkwardly as she spoke.
"Really?" Josie nodded, looking back up at Justin. "Do you regret that it was me?"
The girl let out out a chuckle, shaking her head. "No." He pressed his lips against Josie's, smiling as he felt her melt against her body.

Josie made her way back into the bulk of the people at the party, spotting Jessica sitting on the couch, taking shots. She walked quickly to her friend, helping her up the couch. "Jo, you're back!" Jessica spotted a mark on Josie's neck, and furrowed her eyebrows. "Did you get punched in the throat?"
"What?" Josie's eyes widened in realization. "No. I- uh- fell."
"Okay." Jessica nodded. "I'm really sleepy."
Josie wrapped her arms around her best friend, helping her towards her bedroom. She sat Jessica on the bed, and she flopped down, falling asleep. Josie chuckled as she stood up, moving to the doorway. She smiled when she saw Justin standing in the doorway. "Hi." He smirked, walking towards the girl.
"I have to get Jessica some water."
"Come on, just kiss me some more." Justin whined, reaching Josie. His hands landed on her waist.
Josie giggled, raising an eyebrow. "You're lucky you're cute."
"I am lucky I'm cute." Justin smiled, pressing his lips against Josie's. She kissed him back, running her fingers through his hair. Josie felt his hands move down her body until they landed on her butt.
Josie pulled away from the kiss when she felt her phone begin to buzz. She saw Hope's contact and picked up. "What's up?"
"I think I just ate a frog."
"What?"
"I think I just ate a frog."
The girl shook her head. "I heard you. I'm just confused. How did you eat a frog?"
"I saw it, and I thought it was one of the chocolate frogs from Harry Potter, so I ate it."
Josie let out a sigh, looking down at Jessica, who was still passed out on the bed. "Are you in Jessica's backyard?"
"Mmhmm."
"I'll be right there." Josie hung up her phone, glancing up at Justin.
"She ate a frog?" Justin questioned Josie, and she nodded in response, moving past him. He grabbed onto her hand. "I'll see you soon?"
"You bet." The girl sent him a smile, before she opened the door. "Can you make sure that no one comes in?" Justin nodded, and Josie exited the room, seeing Bryce at the other end of the hallway. She rolled her eyes as she walked past him and into the party. She made her way through the house and out into Jessica's backyard, where she saw Hope laying on the ground, staring up at the night sky. "Are you okay, Hope?"
Hope nodded, continuing to stare at the sky. "Monty gave me a cookie and said have a good night."
"Fuck." Josie let out a sigh. She glanced down at the ground and noticed a frog sitting next to Hope. "Is that the frog you said you ate."
Hope sat straight up, looking down at the frog before bursting into laughter. "Yeah, it is. I think I'll call him Dumbledore."
Josie shook her head, helping Hope up from the ground. "Let's get you home."
"Can I bring Dumbledore?"
"No."
