(Jake's perspective)

Jake slams down his hands on his desk.
"That bloody fool Mortem is going to ruin my chances with Night!"He shouts.
Jake picks up a small glass of demonized poison.
"But dear brother, that won't happen now will it."He murmurs.
He puts the small glass into the pocket of his trousers.

Jake always was the least appreciated brother,the one always getting into trouble, the one who had to be rescued by Mortem.Jake looked into the mirror, he was wearing a red hoodie with black trousers, he had a clean shaven face with rusty blonde hair.Even though he was always getting into trouble ,he had good looks, he is basically the popular kid in every book ever.
"It's party time."He mumbles.

Jake arrives at the party, he sets up the music, food, and drinks.He doesn't pour the poison into one of the drinks in case someone else drinks it.He may be a troublemaker but he wasn't stupid.He waits for people to arrive.

(Mortem's perspective)

"Do we really have to go?"Groans Mortem.
"Yes, Jake will get upset if we don't."Says Night dragging Mortem off the couch.
Mortem looks up, Night was wearing a dress, this was a rare sight.It wasnt anything special, just an average dress, but Mortem thought she looked beautiful.
"Okay I'll go on one condition...you have to dance with me."Says Mortem grinning.
"Well I guess I owe you for buying this apartment,sure."Says Night grumbling.
Mortem and Night head for the party.

(Jake's perspective)

What is taking her so long? Mortem probably convinced her not to come,that bastard.

Mortem and Night walk into the doors, Jake instantly rushes over and grabs Nights hand pulling her away from Mortem.
"Wanna dance?"He asks.
"Sorry, I promised Mortem a dance."She chuckles.
Jake glares daggers at the now smiling Mortem.
"I don't care."Jake pulls Night into the crowd.
"Hey!"Mortem shouts after them.
Jake dances with Night, doing dips and twirls.Mortem could only glare in anger.Mortem grabs Night away from Jake, dancing.Angry and frustrated,Jake walks over to the drinks and pours the poison in one and picks it up, he carries it over to Mortem.
"Hey brother, how about a drink."He says, hiding his jealousy.
Just as Mortem is about to take the drink ,Night takes it and drinks it in one gulp.Jake stares in utter shock and horror.
"Jake why are you looking at me like th......I don't.....feel so well."She stutters.
Night falls to the ground.

"JAKE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Mortem shouts.
