Night and Mortem arrived in the realm of demons.Night puked, she wasn't quite used to the dimension jumping yet.
"You okay?"Asks Mortem bending down to help Night stand up.
"Yeah I'm fine."Mumbles Night as she shakes off Mortem hand from her arm.
As much as Mortem wanted to help Night, he knew that she would only get angry if he thought she was weak and couldn't help herself.
"So where are we headed?" asks Night.
Mortem points to a massive leafless tree.
"How did I not notice that? " grumbles Night

Mortem and Night hike toward the massive tree.Mortem took this time to study Night's appearance.She had light brown hair and was rather skinny, but her face was beautiful, she looked prepared for anything. Mortem tried to shake that thought out of his mind.

Stop being stupid and pay attention to the mission,get Night's inner demon under control. He thought.

Night noticed Mortem staring.
"What?"She asked.
"Nothing." He said looking away.
Mortem hoped Night didn't see him blush.

"Oh look we're here." said Night
Night and Mortem walked through the corridors of the huge tree.These tunnels always reminded Mortem of a book he read.Mortem leads Night through the tunnels into a room full of books, in the corner of the room there was a guy with blonde hair and a blue tie.Night stared in shock, Mortem wondered why.
"New guy?" She mumbled.
"Please, just call me Jake."He said softly.
"Wait, you know this guy?"Mortem asked Night.
"Yes, we worked together in the station."says Night
"I must say, you are much prettier when you aren't shouting at me for shredding your papers."Says Jake.
A shard of jealousy stabs Mortem in the chest.Jake sees the hurt in Mortem's eyes and smiles.
"Uh thanks..I guess."Says Night.
"This way m'lady."Says Jake taking Night's hand.
Mortem follows glaring at Jake the whole time.

The three of them arrive in a room filled with dark potions.Jake hands Night one of the potions.
"This will help with your inner demon."Says Jake.
"Thanks, we'll be going now."grumbles Mortem.
"Hold up, Night, would you like to come to my party on Saturday?"Jake says grinning.
"Sure....is Mortem allowed to come with me?"asks Night.
"Of course, he's your best friend, right?"Says Jake.
"Well I wouldn't say be...." Night looks at Mortem."Yeah best friend."
Mortem felt a little better.
"Great, it's settled then."says Jake.
"Bye!"Says Night excitedly.
Mortem grabs Night's hand, and glares at Jake.He smiles.

With a soft poof, the two dissappeared again.
