Twenty-two chapters already? Wow, thanks to the people who have read this far :3

"So this is Hell?"

Those were the first words spoken as soon as the gang came to the entrance to a tall office building.
"No, don't be stupid." Lucifer rolled his eyes. "Hell is much more grand than this rusty shack."

Amare, Tesla and his friends had stayed behind, leaving just Night, Lucifer, Jake, Terra, Johnny, and the paralyzed Mortem. (Don't worry, that won't be the last you'll be seeing them *wink wink*). They walked through the rusty doors, creaky and covered in cobwebs.
"What a dump." Jake murmured.
"I heard that." An old woman's voice echoed down the hall.
"Crazy old bat." Murmured Jake again.
"You are a very rude young man"
Luci grinned, "Bertha, nice to see you're still standing. "But I see time has turned you bitter"
"Only a freak could stay as handsome as you after all these years, I've known you since I was 11, you haven't aged a day." Bertha smiled a toothless smile.
"Oh, I almost forgot." Luci called Terra over, he put Mortem gently down on the ground.
"Oh dear, paralysis." Bertha muttered. "By who?"
Everyone looked at John, who shrugged.
"Alright, you and you come with me." Bertha pointed to Lucifer and John, then continued to pick up Mortem (she was strong for an old bat) and they left into one of the rooms.

Jake, Terra, and Night wait patiently for Mortem to be un-paralyzed.
"So, you may be wondering why we killed The Angel." Jake cleared his throat. "Well, she killed my and Mortem's parents."
Night looked at Jake, surprised. "Why?"
"We don't know...."

An eerie silence swept over the room.

"You don't really love that fool do you?" Jake glared in the direction that Bertha took Mortem.
Night didn't answer, Jake inched closer.
"He wanted to kill you, if you ask me that's not a way to treat a loved one."
"You tried to kill Mortem."
"Babe, it's in the past."
Night got up, pushing Jake away, she stormed out of the building, Jake following shortly after.
Night ran up to a nearby car and smashed the window, she unlocked the car door, hopped in and drove away.
"Well shit." Mortem, Luci,and John came running out of the building.
"You idiot!" They all shouted at once.
