chapter 16:It always gets worse
(Amare's perspective)
Amare paced slowly along the wall where the four companions were chained, she just couldn't understand why they cared so much about each other. It always leads them to their doom. They looked so peaceful, sleeping against the wall, she had to put Terra in the dragon cage (which is being very heavily guarded).
Mortem started to open one eye, slowly yawning, he looked up.
"You crazy bitch, you can't do this."Mortem says.
"Why not?"Amare's voice was calm and steady.
"Why don't you just tell us why you want us here?"
"I will.....as soon as the others wake up."Amare was nervous now.
"Just kill me if it means you can let the others go."
"Now why would I do that?"Amare purred.
Amare walked over to Mortem, who stood up and was on high alert, and brushed a hand on his face.
"I thought they said Jake was the pretty one?"
Mortem tried to shake her hand off but it was no good.
(Mortem's perspective)
That manipulative bitch, she could be trapped in a house fire and I couldn't care less. She is beautiful, though her eyes are cold and dead, like a dream that got destroyed.
Mortem realised he was staring and blushed.
"You could come with me you know?" Amare purred yet again.
"I don't want to."
"Your pulse jumped, you're lying."Amare was starting to get on his nerves.
Mortem couldn't help but admit that he kinda did want to go with Amare. She started to lean closer to him, Mortem was frightened, she kissed him, it hurt him a lot, he could feel a pain in his chest, guilt maybe. Mortem heard a crying noise and wrenched away from the kiss to see Night staring at him, breaking down, he felt terrible. Amare had left the room, it was her falt, Mortem screamed out in betrayal, Night curled up into a ball sobbing.
The weird thing was, Mortem wanted to kiss her again, he felt guilty for thinking that, but it was true.
