(Night's perspective)

Night was always good at solving problems but she couldn't quite place her finger on this one.She was tied to a wall with rope, and Jake was talking to a woman who called herself Amara, hmmm strange, she thought she had heard that name somewhere before. Night's expression was stone cold hatred, and whenever Jake looked over at her she would just glare daggers at him.
"I doubt she would join us after you basically sent Mortem to die."Night overhears Amara say.
"Oh I can be VERY convincing."Jake says while glancing over at Night, she was still glaring.
"Very well, if you fail then we have no use for you, so we'll feed you to the demon fox too."Amara says impatiently.
"Hey that wasn't part of the deal!"Jake shouts.
"Well you better not fail then."Amara says walking away smiling.

Jake unties Night, she immediately grabs his throat and throws him to the ground.
"Traitor!"Night scowls.
"I swear there is a reasonable explanation for this."Jake winces in pain.
"Yeah right."Night says sarcastically.
Wings spread from Night's shoulders, they looked like angel wings but blood red.Jake stares in awe, Night soars up into the air then dissappears.

(Meanwhile in Mortem's perspective)

"You're going to do what?!"says Mortem.
"I told you already, we are going to blow up the floor under us."He says calmly while placing the egg on a very weak point on the floor.
"Aaannd how will you do that?"asks Mortem suspiciously.
"Did you not pay attention in dragonology class, when a deathreaper egg hatches it explodes with acid, obviously non-toxic to us demon types."Tesla was now measuring the blast radius.
"Okaaay, when will it hatch?"Mortem asks.
Tesla counts on his paws.
"Thirty seconds."he concludes.
"Say w-"BOOM! The egg exploded splashing acid all around them, the floor shattered and they started to fall, they used their wings to slow down.The pair slowly descended down into a corridor.

Tesla lands gracefully,Mortem slips and falls on his landing.Tesla laughed, but then Mortem remembered something and grinned, a baby dragon came plummeting down and landed on Tesla's back knocking him over.This time Mortem laughed, the baby dragon was black with a white stripe running down his back.It's horns were red and it's teeth were sharp.
"Awww he's cute, what should we name him."says Tesla.
"How about Terra?"Suggests Mortem.
"I like it, now how do we get out of here?"asks Tesla.
"Wait, we are forgetting Night."Mortem says concerned.
"Don't worry, my contacts have confirmed that she has left the area."Tesla rushes out through the hallways, Mortem follows behind.
"Contacts? How?"Mortem asks panting, trying to keep up with Tesla.
"I'll explain later."he says.
Mortem sees an exit, the two of them rush out.Forgetting one person, the traitor.
