Yoshiki's end

Celeste turned, looking to the other three. "You're doing good " the queen said simply. Jax nodded "yeah, and if you could, can you try to be quick? It's not exactly fantastic being with these two" . Celeste smiled softly "I'll try" "thanks". Celeste moved to the door on the far right. She eased open the door, looking in.

The door slammed behind her harshly. She looked around the room calmly. It looked like a very simple operation room. Celeste looked at everything in confusion. Who would be...?

She looked to the table in the center. She had noticed that there was a reaccuring pattern of young boys behind the doors. This one layed flately on the table, staring at a small widow on the other side of the room. A blanket rested over his legs and stiches covered his upper body. Out of all of it though, two things caught Celeste's attention. The boys hair, and his left arm. More specifically, his red hair, and his missing left arm. His arm was cuffed down to the table, as well as his legs. Despite all this, he sat calmly, smiling at the birds songs.

Celeste came up to him. "Yoshiki? " the boy didn't respond in the slightest, seemingly not hearing her. His smile quickly faded as two men walked in. He didn't give them a glare, but he didn't look happy to see them either. If anything, his expression looked almost afraid.

The two talked with eachother quietly. "What are we doing today?" One asked. The other handed him a set of papers. "With what?" "Satir" "thats not one you hear very much". The other shrugged "orders are orders" he said simply. It simply took the man to set his hand on Yoshiki's chest before he started to panic. Yoshiki thrashed, kicking and protesting even when he was aware that his position was unchangeable. The man glared, hitting Yoshiki violently. "Stop that. We've done this enough. Get used to it" "never!" Shot back the ever daring Yoshiki. The man picked up a scapal. At the sight of it Yoshiki backed down, cowering slightly. "That's better" "Are we knocking him out this time?" The other finally spoke up. The man with the scapal shook his head. "No, no. I think he can handle this one". Yoshiki shook his head, thrashing again. "No, p-please!". The man cut him with the scapal. "Stop your whining already. It's bad enough we have to work with a child in general. You're insistent whining doesn't help" . Yoshiki glared at him "and who's fault is it that I do this?". Yoshiki winced as he cut again, going deeper. "If you just let me go.." "for the last time, no!". Yoshiki started to cry as they worked, cutting open his chest. They made a whole big enough for them to see and reach inside. Celeste almost reached at the sight. The scene changed as Yoshiki faded from consciousness

She was in a small town . People bustled around with their work, and found herself in an alley. A group of younger adults stood together, talking and betting on some fight. Celeste came up to them, watching the fight. She was once again surprised to find a familiar face in the fight, Yoshiki.

He fought hard, but he looked utterly exhausted. The crowd cheered and voted for the other man in the fight. Yoshiki punched the man with his left hand. The man suddenly toppled over, groaning in pain. "Holy shit, he broke Leon's jaw!" One of the people shouted out. The group suddenly turned outraged, and the directed all their aggression towards Yoshiki. Who stood meekly in the group. "Guys, please calm down! I just fought to keep my head on. Please calm down.." he was spoken over by several others. Who threw nasty insults and even worse names, some of which Celeste wasn't even familiar with. Yoshiki cowarded and whimpered quietly, looking for any way to get away from the situation.

Celeste stepped up to them all. She cleared her throat "oi!". The group went quiet, looking to her. "The boy was just protecting himself. That guy could have killed him if he didn't stand up. " Yoshiki stared at her in amazement. One man, particularly taller and beefier than the rest, stepped up to her. He looked at her in a condescending manner. "Look doll, I don't know who you are, but back the fuck off". Celeste smiled "crumble" she ordered calmly. The man suddenly cried out in pain and fell to his knees. Celeste grabbed his hair, making him look at her. "First of all, you need to learn to shut your mouth, second, let it go. Yoshiki was just protecting himself. Third, don't call me doll" she threw him aside. "Unless any of you have further statments to give to Yoshiki, may I burrow you?" Celeste looked to him holding out a hand. He smiled and gladly walked over the man with confidence  to Celeste. The man's group just watched in a mixture of horror and amazement as the two quickly walked off

"That was amazing! How'd you even do that? How did you know my name? Where you there the whole time? How did-" . Celeste put up a hand, silencing him. "Yoshiki, calm down. I came to ask you questions, not the other way around. ". Yoshiki laughed lightly "right, sorry". Celeste could barely tell the difference between the current Yoshiki and this one. They were so alike in almost every way. "First off, who were those guys back there? What were you doing with them?". "That's the nodgers , they're a gang here that runs a lot of town. Their boss let me in a while ago. Not many of them like me though..." . Celeste furrowed her brow "Why are you part of a gang?". Celeste wouldn't even have guessed something like that to happen to Yoshiki, let alone expect it. "Well...the boss and I share kind of a common goal. We both want to overthrow the queen here. But I'm not sure if that really true. Plus, they keep me safer than if I was alone" . Celeste sighed. It was almost storybook.

"I think you should leave them. Trust me, you're better off with a different group" . Yoshiki looked confused "what? "Answer me this, do you know anyone by the name Makoto or Satoshi? " Yoshiki thought for a moment. "No, I don't even know a group that has people with those names. People don't really name their kids things like that anymore. They're not very popular, like mine!" He giggled at his own little exspense. Celeste sighed "that explains a lot. We'll, in the future, you're going to be really well equated with them. ". Yoshiki looked at her confused "can you tell you furture?" He gasped dramatically "are you from the future?!". Celeste sighed "yes and no". Yoshiki looked a little disappointed with that answer, but he still smiled happily. "I have something to ask you" Celeste blurted out suddenly. Yoshiki raised a brow "what is it?" "How long did they hurt you?" . Yoshiki's expression suddenly changed. He backed away slightly. He looked at her in fear. "W-what are you talking about?" "The experiments. That's what they were, weren't they"

They scene changed once more. Once again, she wasn't a solid form. She could only see and move. She was in a kitchen. Somehow she felt as though she knew the place, like she had been there before. At the cast iron stove stood Yoshiki and Satoshi. The two were talking calmly. "I'm going to leave today" Satoshi said calmly. "What, why?" Yoshiki asked him. "Please don't leave " Celeste heard his voice, yet he wasn't talking. "Why do you care?" Satoshi asked calmly. "Because I love you! You're one of the few good things that's happened to me! I can't handle doing this again!" Celeste heard his thoughts. Some how she always thought that was the case. "I enjoy being around you! Plus, you don't have anywhere to go if you leave!" Yoshiki protested to him. The two argued over him leaving. "And why do you care about me so much? It's not like I'm anything special. I'm just some stranger you found" Satoshi retorted at him.

Celeste was confused. Satoshi didn't really act like this towards Yoshiki. "I care because" Yoshiki paused. I love you. Celeste winced at that phrase. She understood why it seemed different now. "Because I can tell you have a terrible life. I want to try and help you have a better one, at least for a while". Satoshi stared at Yoshiki for a long time. Just as Yoshiki opened his mouth, Satoshi jetted out of the house.

Yoshiki stood up, then chased after him. Celeste saw black then opened her eyes to a new scenery. Another little town, seemingly in the middle no where too. Stars twinkled brightly in the sky and a warm, gentle breeze embraced her. It was a beautiful place, but she couldn't help but feel hesitant towards finding Yoshiki.

She ended up not needing to find him, seeing how he practically ran through her. She tried to hear his thoughts, but there wasn't anything to hear. Rather, she saw that scene again. She saw Satoshi running away. Then she saw something else, felt something more. She felt a warmth that could only be identified as love, affection, infatuation. She saw Satoshi and him, talking. She saw Yoshiki rest his hand on Satoshi's knee and rub it in a comforting way. As if to silently tell him that it'll be okay.

She was suddenly ripped away from these thoughts and felt nothing but fear, panic actually. She quickly went to Yoshiki, who was looking around in a dazzed state. He had no idea where he was. He had just kept running, and praying. Praying that it would be okay, that he'd find him and they'd be alright. Yeah, everything would be okay, that is until Satoshi would yell at him and abandon him. Leave him there to rot away. Maybe he actually would, after all. What was there to live for at this point he-

The two gasped as a hand suddenly grasped Yoshiki's shoulder, startling them both. "H-hey, do you need help?" A frail voice asked. Celeste turned with wide eyes to the boy. God, he was just a baby too. This couldn't have been long before Kaname ruined him. He barely even looked ten yet and his life was destroyed.

"W-what?" Yoshiki's voice quivered, shaking under the power of all his emotions. "Do you want to come inside? You.. you look really sick and scared" "yes.. thank you" "No problem.. here" he supported Yoshiki, guiding him back towards a run down house

"Because I don't deserve him. I knew it was a matter of time before he let me go too" Yoshiki explained calmly, staring at his tea. He had lost all apatite for it, but Makoto had insisted. Makoto scoffed "I don't think you're giving yourself justice.." "Makoto, do you have parents?" Yoshiki questioned suddenly, leaning towards the boy. "Wha... well, I did... I live here with my uncle now though...". Yoshiki shrunk away, guilt knawing at him thanks to Makoto's sad expression. "I'm sorry I asked" "No no, its... fine. Why did you ask?".

"Well... nevermind. You wouldn't want to hear my sob story of a life" "Yoshiki" Makoto set a hand on his knee. "If you need to say something, please do. Don't hold back". Yoshiki looked at him with wide eyes. He knew those words well, he usually heard them differently though. Saying them like that was like asking him to break some elaborate rule. Was it even that east to just say what you feel? Makoto was either unaware at how human communication works, or crazy for trying to tell someone something like that.

Celeste came back to the empty room again. Yoshiki smiled at her weakly. "Hey Celeste..." Celeste looked to him. "Yoshiki, do you feel alone? Are you scared?". Yoshiki softly sniffled letting his smile go. He looked down to his feet, then to Celeste. "I'm terrified, I'm not sure how long I can last.." Celeste nodded, holding his hands. "We'll find you, I promise, and Yoshiki?" . Yoshiki raised his brows. "We're not going to leave you. We're family, and family means no body gets left behind or forgotten" Celeste gently interlocked their hands. Yoshiki tried to form words, only resulting in several odd expressions.

"There's no way you thought of that on you're own" Yoshiki teased, making Celeste glare. "I'm being serious Yoshiki" "so am I! " "No you're not. You're avoiding what I'm saying. Say what you feel Yoshiki. What you really think". Celeste slackened as Yoshiki's hands shook and quivered. "I-I don't know.." "Yoshiki..." "I don't know! I don't know how I feel! I don't know how I'm supposed to feel. All I know is I don't deserve a family like you. Why do you think they abandoned me? I've never deserved any of this..". His voice cracked as he admitted, for the second time in his life, what he really felt.

"Yoshiki, everyone deserves a family, happiness. Especially the people in this family. You've all been through so much turmoil, so much pain. Please Yoshiki." "I'm scared Celeste.." "why?" "I'm scared of... me. I'm scared of myself so I end up hating myself. I have so much power, I could end it all whenever I please. I could destroy everything I've worked so hard for in the blink of an eye, and I'm scared I will. I'm scared one day I'll wake up and decide that it's time to drop the act and be what I am. Nothing. Nothing but a depressing, useless, good for nothing piece of waste that everyone uses until they find something better. And they always find something better Celeste. It's not hard. Everything is better than I am. That's why you came here. They'll forget about me eventually and I'll just be... thrown out"

Yoshiki felt tears prick at his eyes as his hands stung. "Yoshiki, I know why you're thinking like this, and I can't change the trauma that made you like this, but i can tell you it will be okay. If I have to have everyone tell you that, I will. You need to know we love and need you. This group would be so much sadder without you're smile there to soothe the pain, without you, it's not the same family anymore. It's just a group of people. Plus" Celeste smiled at him "who would have come up with the idea of saving a whole country with a ex criminal and chief if you weren't with us?".

Yoshiki let out a light-hearted giggle, seeming to lift the weight from his shoulders. "Thank you Celeste" "no, thank you Yoshiki. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you" "yeah, I guess so..."

Once again she stood alone in the room. Celeste kept her soft smile on, moving to the next door.
