"Sir, are you sure you can trust me with this?" Finny questioned nervously, handing Jax his bag. Jax scoffed "of course I can! You'll be fine. I'll only be gone for a mounth " "e-exactly sir! What if something happens?! You're going to be gone so long that everything might be destroyed by the time you get back..". Jax rested his hands on Finny's shoulders "Finny, it'll be fine, trust me. Now, keep watch of everything, read things before you sign, and don't have to much fun without me" Jax smirked, heading for the small portal. "Goodbye sir!" Finny waved before Jax walked through it.

Jax rubbed his eyes. God damn it was bright... He looked around the small neighborhood. The houses were all different from the next, with different paint to different deceratio placed upon the lawns. The last thing Jax had expected was for it to be snowing. It was the middle of summer for Pete's sake! Jax grabbed a cloak out of his back and wrapped it around himself. He looked as he saw a man running down the street. He carried a large black bag with him. Jax gasped when he relized who it was "Makoto!". The man looked to Jax, then his jaw dropped "Jax?!". Jax ran over to Makoto. "What are you doing here? How'd you get here?". Jax furrowed his brow, staring at Makoto in confusion. "What?" Makoto shook his head "right, sorry. What are you doing here?" He reapeted in Kreilan. "I came to see you guys! Where are the others? ". "They're inside, hold on" Makoto threw the garbage bag into the dumpster. "Come on" Jax Followed Makoto to Celeste's house. Makoto chuckled "I take it you weren't prepared for snow?" "No! I thought it was summer!". Makoto laughed "nope, it's the middle of winter right now. In fact, it's almost Christmas ". Jax frowned "What's "Christmas"?" "We'll explain later"

Satoshi sat on the couch calmly with his legs crossed, reading. Yoshiki and Celeste remained in the kitchen, dancing and cooking together. In the cone of the room stood a large green tree. Yoshiki had insisted they all decorated it together. So now it practically glowed in the living room, covered in ornaments and tinsel. Yoshiki giggled as he and Celeste danced. It was Yoshiki's turn to cook, but he wanted to Celeste to help. Satoshi let them go ahead, considering there was barely enough room in that kitchen for one person, let alone two. Makoto came into the house, shedding his coat. "Guess who I found" "is it Grey?" Yoshiki guessed, looking into the living room. Jax walked into the living room "guess again". Yoshiki gasped. He ran up to Jax and hugged him tightly "we haven't seen you in forever! How did you get here?" "Portal". Celeste came into the living room and hugged Jax lightly. "It's great to see you Jax" "you too. And don't act like I can't see you Satoshi! " . Jax grinned, looking to him. Satoshi sighed and came over, joining the crowd that surrounded the door. "Welcome to our new house Jax" "thanks. And What's With The tree?". Jax pointed to the twinkling Christmas tree. "It's a holiday tradition here. After tomorrow we put gifts under it. It's called Christmas " Celeste explained easily. Yoshiki nodded "mhm! And you came just in time for it". Jax nodded "I guess so. I can't wait to join the party"

The five sat on the couch, eating the pineapple chicken that Yoshiki and Celeste made. "So how's the royal life so far?" Makoto asked. Jax shrugged "it's not as fabulous as you'd think, but it's got it's ups. What's it like being here?". The boys exchanged looks "it's alright " "great!" "Fantastic" they all answered at once. Satoshi in a sarcastic manner, Yoshiki happily, and Makoto honestly. Jax chuckled "I take it you all see it differently? ". Makoto chuckled "yeah. Satoshi really didn't like it at first. Yoshiki is just Yoshiki" Jax laughed lightly. "They all hated having to learn English " Celeste added. Jax frowned "What's "English"? " . Celeste chuckled "thats exactly what they said. ". Satoshi rolled his eyes, going back to reading his book. "I wanted to ask, did you catch Kaname yet?" Makoto asked, hopping it was a yes. Jax shook her head "I wish. That bastard is way to good at hiding, but don't worry Makoto. We'll find him".

Celeste had learned after she woke up that Kaname had been the one to do it. He had shot her back when she wasn't looking. Kaname made it do she wouldn't notice at first. Jax and Makoto had actually tried to catch him before they left, but apparently they still hadn't. Jax said he had been looking for Kaname ever since the four left him. He was determined to get revenge for all he had done to Makoto, Celeste, Satoshi, Yoshiki, and every other person he ever hurt.

"So, how's the couple's domestic lives?" Jax asked, smirking at the four. Makoto blushed and gave Jax a weak glare. Celeste and Yoshiki both laughed at the question. "Well , Celeste and Makoto got together after she woke up in the hospital" Yoshiki explained. "You mean they weren't together before that?" Jax raised a brow. "And Yoshiki and Satoshi are mostly the same as always" "We did walk in on them one time" Makoto added, smirking. Satoshi glared at him "I told you not to mention that" "it wasn't even that far when you guys walked in though" Yoshiki mumbled. Jax laughed, almost falling out of his seat. Satoshi hit Yoshiki's arm, glaring. Yoshiki pouted "but it's true! It would have been way worse if they walked in and we were already- mmf mf" Satoshi covered Yoshiki's mouth. "Some things never change" Jax joked, wiping away the tears he had from his laughter.

People crowded the home on the cold afternoon. The group decided to let their friends over for Christmas. Jax blended in just fine. Celeste had actually learnt how to make it so there understood Kreilan. Yoshiki and her had practiced magic here. Somehow they were able too, though not as strong as before.

Jax came up to Satoshi "how do you feel about getting drunk?" . Satoshi frowned "why would I do that?" "Why not?" "You just want to see what I act like when I do, don't you?" "Maybe" . Satoshi rolled his eyes "I'm not getting drunk. I don't want to act like an imbacile ". Jax huffed "fine, but I better see it some day".

Celeste sat on the couch, talking with Yoshiki's friend Grey. "Now, I'm not going to say you won't love your present, but if you dont, no refunds" Grey went into the next room and dragged out Makoto. Celeste couldn't hold back a laugh as she saw him. Grey had tied a strand of misltoe to Makoto's ahonge and a red ribbon around his neck. Makoto glared at him "why do you do this?" "Merry Christmas Celeste ". Grey handed Makoto over to her, walking off to find Yoshiki. Celeste smiled sweetly as Makoto blushed shamefully. "This is ridiculous. ." He mumbled. Celeste kissed him lightly "I think it's cute, but don't let the others kiss you" Celeste joked, laughing. Makoto rooted his eyes, chuckling "what makes you think I'd kiss anyone but you?". Celeste giggled "I know you wouldn't. But I don't know about them" they both laughed.

Yoshiki happily stole some of Satoshi's cake. Satoshi sighed, not even disgruntled by it at this point. Yoshiki had eaten most of it for him anyway... "Hey Satoshi? " "what?" "What did you get me?" Yoshiki asked curiously. Satoshi shook his head "I'm not going to tell you" "why?" Yoshiki whined. "Because you'll freak out like last time"

Once it had reached Yoshiki's birthday, which they found to be on the 9th of December, Satoshi had gotten him a gift. After persuading Makoto to let it stay, Satoshi had gotten Yoshiki a cat. It was older with black and Grey fur. Once Yoshiki saw it he over reacted "just a bit" in his words. Yoshiki tackled Satoshi when he found out that the cat was from him. After he had finally calmed down, Yoshiki named the cat Coffee, one of Satoshi's new favorite drinks since they came here. Said cat now sat on the window sill, being loved on by Celeste's cousins Ren, Kaito, and Peko.

Yoshiki hit him with his sweater sleeve, pouting. He was always wearing sweaters, most of which were soft pastel colors. Satoshi sighed and pet Yoshiki's head "calm down. You'll find out tomorrow. I know you at least have some patience " . Yoshiki pouted "fine... but I didn't freak out that bad" "you tackled me to the ground in a hug and wouldn't stop saying thank you and kissing ne" Satoshi replied. "That's not that bad" Satoshi shook his head "you're ridiculous " "I know".

Jax came up behind them and shoved Yoshiki into Satoshi, making Satoshi catch him. Grey joined Jax and held up the stick. The stick had misltoe upon it. Satoshi looked at it "I swear to god Jax". Makoto burst into laughter, seeing what was going on "classic". Celeste smiled, giggling. "Jax, Makoto's got one too" . Jax grinned "oh my god. This is perfect". The other came over too, some giggling at the situation. Satoshi and Makoto glared, blushing. Yoshiki sighed "Let's just sped this process up". Celeste nodded. Yoshiki grabbed Satoshi's face and pulled him down. He kissed him happily. Grey snapped a picture quickly. "Makoto, you're bright red" "shut up..". Celeste smiled and leaned down. She kissed him lightly . "There, it wasn't that bad". "Yes it was" Satoshi and Makoto said in unison. The others all laughed. Jax smiled "we haven't changed a bit"
