The next few months went by too slow for Bella and the group. In classes they continued working on defensive charms as well as the patronus charm. Everyone also started noticing Selene was starting to act as if she was ill. She was pale all the time and constantly running out of the class room. Rumors about her started flying all over the place as she continued to get worse.

Melino seemed to migrate into the group with ease. they were so used to her presence that they didn't even question it anymore. Atem, Christine, and Bakura seemed to be the only ones who really knew who she was. 

When ever Christine was out her and Melino seemed to be the best of friends talking about all sorts of subjects. 

Marik and Bakura seemed to have the hardest time with that spell. In transfiguration, They worked on controlling their animangas forms as well as how to turn inanimate objects into moving objects. 

Bella accidentally turned Yugi into a squirrel one day in class. It took them thirty minutes to catch him and calm him down in order for Minerva to turn him back. Marik and Bakura had a field day with that. They had also taken photos to show Melino who had been in the hospital wing for hurting her wrist. 

Jewels was growing like a weed. She was already 2 1/2 ft tall in her wolf form. Zorro spent most of his time with her. 

In potions, Bella turned Draco into a pink ferret for running his mouth about Harry. Snape even had to fight a laugh as he changed the disgruntled Malfoy heir back to a human. Bella found her self acing Runes class.  

It was now December and everyone was either packing up and leaving the castle for the holidays or lazing around. 

Bella was currently laying back in a seat on the airplane. They group had decided that they were going to spend the holidays in Japan. Harry and Ron had disappeared to Sirius's house. Ron's father had been attacked by Nagini. Harry saw it in a vision and they all left in the middle of the night a couple days ago. 

She had contacted Voldemort that night to see what was going on. He had told her that he had not seen Nagini at all that day. which in it's self was odd. 

"Passengers please sit in your seat and buckle for landing. We will be landing at Domino city airport in ten minutes" someone over the com spoke. 

Everyone sat up their seats and buckled up. 

"i dont think this is safe, i dont like airplanes" Melino commented from her seat looking nervous. 

"lets just hope there is not soul snatching this time around" Bella commented as she prepared for the landing. honestly she had wanted to go home and check in with Derek and the rest of her team, but she agreed to coming to Japan so that she could get used to being there. Also she needed to get things ready for the move. Bella sighed as she looked out the window. Yes, she was going to move to Japan. 

she felt sick as the plane began to descend to the ground. Her head hit the back of the seat when the plane touched down. Come on Bella, you've done this a million times, she thought to her self as she let out a slow breath. 

When the plane came to a full stop the pilot came over the com. 

"welcome to domino city," Bella blocked out the rest of what he was saying as everyone unbuckled their seat belts and stood up. grabbing their bags that they brought on board they all walked off the plane and into the airport. 

"thankfully we have those bags you made us" Yugi commented. 

"yeah we don't have to tote around all that stuff" Marik said as they continued walking through the airport. They stopped suddenly hearing someone yell out Yugi's name. They turned and looked to see Joey, Tristan, Mokuba, Yugi's grandfather, Mariks sister and Odion standing there along with. And the dreaded Tea Gardner.

"What the fuck is Mana doing alive?" Melino asked blinking. 

Christine laughed hearing what she had said.  

"Christian!" Christine took control and ran over to Christian tackling him into a tight hug. Christian wrapped his arms around her twirling her in a circle. 

"who?" Melino asked tilting her head. 

"what are you doing here?" Christine asked as he sat her down. 

"Well someone needed to take care of the creatures you had moved into the house. And i help out at Mr. Moto's shop." Christian explained. 

Christine looked over at Melino. "this is my son Christian." 

Melino stared at her stunned. "y-you had a kid?" She asked glancing to Yugi hesitantly. 

"oh no" Christine says quickly. "not him" she added. 

Melino then became even more stunned and confused. "then who?" she asked. 

"Mahad" Christine replied. Melino looked as though she was about to pass out as she heard Christine. 

"y-you" Melino stuttered as she stared at Christine. 

"hi Grampa, Tristian, joey, tea, mokuba" Yugi said in greeting.

"Hi sister, Odion" Marik hugged his sister. 

"what is she doing here?" Tea asked giving Christine a glare. 

What about Sam?" Christine asked as Zorro and Jewel's whined from their carrier. 

"he came over with me" Christian said as he took the pet carrier from Bakura who was more than happy to hand it over. 

Christine then turned to mokuba who tackled her. 

"brother is out side waiting with the limo" Mokuba explained. 

"Kiba is here?" Yugi asked looking at Mokuba surprised. 

"yeah he wanted to be there when mom sees her house that he bought her" Mokuba explained. 

"then lets not keep him waiting" Christine said as Bella took back control. 

"come on!" Bakura high tailed it out of the airport. Everyone followed him out to where the limo was at waiting. 

"so you are actually moving here?" Tristan asked. 

"yup" Bella replied. 

"Why?" Tea asked with a scowl.

"why do you care?" Melino asked. 

"Who are you?" Tea asked as though she just saw her. 

Melino growled. 

"Mel it's ok" Bella says calmly. 

"at least the pharaoh wont be sulking any more" Joey said teasingly. Bella laughed at his words. 

"Christine was just as bad" Bella said as they all got into the limo. 

"Im not calling you father" Seto commented randomly. Melino stared at him shocked and then looked at Bella and Atem with a 'Tell me!!!!' look. 

"ill catch you up later" Bella says promisingly. Melino only sat back looking as though she was going to explode with questions. 

Everyone looked over at him unsure what to think about his comment. Bella choked out a laugh. 

"I missed you too seto" Bella said sitting back in her seat as she unconsciously leaned against Yugi. 

"so what are you two like dating now?" tea asked. her face was red with jealously and anger. 

"we keep trying to push them together," Bakura said. 

"but they are just so stubborn" Marik added. 

"its completely obvious those two are into each other" They both said. Bella and Yugi reddened. 

"oh shut up" Bella and Yugi said looking away from each other. 

"come on now Yugi im not getting any younger" Solomon said. 

"Grampa!" yugi squeaked. 

Christian laughed. Bella looked out the window and watched as the scenery passed by them. when they finally arrived at a house. everyone got out. 

"Holey crap who is all living here?" Joey asked. 

"oh um" Bella started to say as she bit her lip nervously. "just...well there is me...Christian if he is staying...the animals...um...you guys in you want to" She explained as they walked into the house. Bakura fell over onto the couch. "oh and Harry" Bella added. 

Melino looked over at her, but didn't say anything. She faintly wondered if that invitation was extended to her or if it was just towards the other people.  

"Who is Harry?" Joey asked. 

"oh that reminds me" Yugi said as he opened his back. His niffler, Jinks, popped its head out and then scurried out of the bag and down to the floor. Immediately he started looking around the place. 

Bakura moved his jacket and let out Salazar. 

"what is that?" Tea shrieked seeing the snake like creature. Christian set the pet carrier down and opened it. 

Zorro, Jewels and Elina came out of the carrier. Elina went to the curtains where there was some other Doxies playing around. 

Jinx walked over to Solomon and sniffed his hand as the elder man knelt down to him. Salazar curled up on Bakura and closed it's eyes. Zorro jumped up onto the back of the couch and laid down. 

Sam came running up and jumped up onto Bella. "hi Sam!" she said petting him enthusiastically. 

"so how was your trip to the magical world" Solomon asked looking excited to hear about their adventures. 

"oh it's been a real hoot" Marik said as they all sat around the living room. 

"a hoot?" Melino asked looking at Marik with a raised eyebrow. 

"what is it like there?" Mokuba asked. 

"oh i for got to ask, are we allowed to use our animangus" Marik asked.

"yes, it is not considered underage magic. and everyone here knows about magic. The japan ministry has different laws than Britian so you are ok, in fact im sure that their underage laws dont apply here. I will have to check with the prime minister" Bella explained. 

"so we can show off what we learned?" Bakura asked. 

"yup" bella replied. 

"can we show them our animangus forms then?" Marik asked eagerly. 

"have at it" Bella replied sitting back in her chair. 

"what is an animangus form?" Mokuba asked looking puzzled. 

Marik jumped up. "let me show you. be prepared to be amazed" He said as he turned into his animangus form. 

Bakura then turned into his. Tea shrieked seeing Bakuras form. 

"AH SNAKE!" joey yelped. Bakura and marik changed back laughing at their reactions. Seto just rolled his eyes. 

"Fits" Christian said. Melino nods looking impressed. 

"wow! you can turn into animals!!" Mokuba exclaimed in aw. 

"that is impressive" Odion said as Marik sat back down beside them. 

everyone turned and looked at Yugi expectantly. "oh uh...Ok" yugi said gulping a little. He closed his eyes and concentration on his animangus form and suddenly turned into a thunder bird. Those who didn't already know what his form was gasped out in awe. 

Solomon's eyes were wide as he stared in awe at his grand son.

Melino's eyes widened a little. She felt her jaw drop. She had heard about it...but had not actually seen it herself. 

"A thunder bird" Christian said in surprise as Yugi changed back to his human side. 

"can you turn into an animal mom" Mokuba asked. 

"yes i can" Bella replied. 

"can we see?" Mokuba asked. 

"Not in here!!!" Yugi, Marik, and Bakura yelped. Everyone looked at them puzzled. 

"why not?" Seto asked looking curious. 

"Kiba you would love it" Yugi said shaking his head. 

Bella bit back her laughter as she thought back to the students reactions to her animangus form. She had to admit, it would not do good to transform in her new home. or anywhere near it. The transfiguration room took three days to fix after she transformed. 

"i will show you another time" Bella said promisingly. Mokuba pouted. 

They turned to Melino. "what about you?" Soloman asked. 

Melino looked hesitant but she got up and transformed into a wolf. 

Bella's eyes widened a little as she stared at Melino. She felt a sudden ache come through from Christine. 

"what's wrong?" mokuba asked seeing Bella's reasction.

"Wolves travel in packs. They are very loyal" Bella explained. "all canines are loyal to a fault" She says and sighs as she faintly thought back to Sirius. 

"joey and Tristan would love the meals there" Yugi said looking over to his friends. "They have huge feasts with all you can eat food" he explained as Melino changed back and sat down. 

"I thought some guy was trying to use the shadows or something like that" Joey asked looking at them questioningly. 

Everyone's expressions grew grim. Melino tensed up again and glanced over at Bella. 

"we have had several problems with that" Bakura said as he looked over at Bella. Bella looked down at the ground sadly. 

"I just made things worse" She mumbled. 

"you didn't know" Yugi said trying to be reassuring.

"If voldemort wasn't the one who made the deal, Then what does he want with the shadows?" Bakura asked as the thought struck him. 

"I know he is doing it for someone. He seems really worried about this person. He thinks that harnessing the shadows will help them" Bella replied looking over at Bakura. "i know that their element is dark. So perhaps that is why he thinks the shadows will help. But This new power has struck interest in his followers. Lucius to be exact. Lucius wants to over throw Him" she explained. 

Melino growled. 

"so take out this Lucius guy" Joey said as if it was obvious. 

"It's not that simple Joey. He has made a pact with the shadows. it is going to be difficult to defeat him. Messing with the shadows has weakened me I can only do so much" Bella explained. 

"A good bullet to the brain should do the trick" Seto said as though it was nothing. 

"im tempted to try that" Bella commented blankly. 

"Why haven't you?" Melino asked looking at her. 

"Pharaoh has a problem with me killing in cold blood" Bella replied with a scowl. Atem appeared in spirit form as he rolled his eyes. 

"let this Voldemort guy kill him or something. you do enough killing as it is" Atem says. 

Bella looked at him blankly and then nods. "you are right. I am killing this out fit right now" She says checking her self out. 

"wait. as long as you are safe, he cant be over thrown. you said it your self" Marik said. "you know with the...soul issue" he said.

"yes...as long as Zorc doesn't take control of me. who knows what would happen. I don't want to chance that, if you guys have to put me down in order to take out Zorc." she trailed off. 

"Let's not think about that" Yugi said. "We know the patronus charm. we can use that until we can think of something more...permanent" he said. 

"you lost us" Tristan commented. 

"found you" Bella said with a smirk. She felt so relieved to be around people that could joke around with out turning it into an argument. She felt relaxed around Joey and Tristan. 

She looked up at Christian walked around the room and over towards the kitchen. She could smell food cooking and felt her stomach growl in a painful manner. 

"Not to be a bitch...But that doesn't belong to you" Bella said sending Jinx a glare as he tried to smuggle a necklace out of Bella's bag. 

Yugi picked up Jinx and pets him with a slight laugh. "he gets into a lot of things" he said. 

"Nifflers like shiny objects" Bella said with a shrug. "I'm not mad." she added as she pets jinx. Jinx looked as if he was happy hearing that she wasn't mad as it wiggled around happily. 

"what is that?" Tea asked picking up the locket. Bella snatched it away from her as she stood up. 

"a very important item" Bella said as she put it around her neck. The piece of soul latched on to the locket hummed as it made contact with her skin. 

"is that a heart beat?" Mokuba asked hearing something coming from the necklace. 

"there is a dark feeling about that necklace." Isizhu said gravely. 

"is that one of those horcrux things?" Yugi asked looking it over and noticed Melino seemed to be entranced by the dark necklace. Almost as if it was calling to her. 

"yes" Bella replied. 

"how many of those things did he make?" Marik said with wide eyes. 

Bella sighed a little, "8" she replied. She rubbed her eyes tiredly. Christine took control. 

"Pharaoh. I have been thinking" Christine said looking at Yugi. Atem materialized beside yugi with a questioning look. 

"Hogwarts is a place full of magic" Christine said. 

"yeah what about it?" Marik asked. 

"well...It might be possible to syphon the magic" Christine said. 

"what are you going on about?" Joey asked. 

"The other night, when Bella was having a night mare. I was able to leave my necklace." Christine explained. "It wasn't for very long...but i was able to pick up things, move things." she said. 

Yugi and Bakura's eyes widened in surprise. 

"how long did it last?" Yugi asked. 

"Not long...about 5 minutes. I was forced back into the necklace when i tried to leave the room" she explained. "i mean we've done it before....it lasted about 3 hours...but neither one of us can remember how we did it" she explained. 

"wait are you saying this magical place could make it possible for us to see you and the pharaoh with out yall taking over yugi and Bella?" Tristan asked. 

"I dont know for sure. It might have been a fluke...but...it was so real, I have been thinking about it ever since" Christine explained. 

"well i mean that is a good thing right!" Tea says 

Melino snapped her eyes away from the necklace and growled at her. 

"We can ask Professor Mcgonagall or Dumbledore about it when we go back" Bakura suggested. Christine cried out in pain as her hand went to her necklace as she felt a pull. The necklace flashed and Bella was once again back in control. 

"The depends on if we have that much time" Bella said looking as if she was in pain. 

Once everyone migrated into their own directions, Melino turned to Bella who allowed Christine to take over. 

Christine sat back and looked at Melino expectantly. "Yes?" she asked. 

Melino looks at her with a 'you are joking right?' look as she crossed her arms in front of her. 

Christine sighed a little. "alright alright. You know pharaoh and i argued all the time. It was no secrete" She says. 

"but Mahad?! He was his best friend...and one of the priests!!!" Melino exclaimed. "how did they not kill you!!!! Or him!" 

"Well no one found out. The pharaoh only found out last year" Christine replied with a shrug. "there was a lot of things that we talked about. Cleared the air between us. besides...its not Egypt and we are....a long time into the future...things have changed" She explained. 

"and...he's just...ok with it?" Melino asked. 

"We...agreed that the past is the past...I got drunk, it happened, shit hit the fan. No...Im sure he is not ok with it, but...it happened. there was millions of things that was involved" Christine says with a sigh while running a hand through her hair. 

Melino looked around. "well...Bakura....what's...whats going on with him?" She asked inching closer to Christine. 

"Besides being an brat and getting his soul snatched ever so often" Christine mumbled. 

"wait what?" Melino asked looking alarmed as she stared at Christine stunned. 

"well...after you..." christine trailed off. "wait" Something struck her and she looked over at her. "how are you even alive?" She asked looking over at Melino. 

Melino stared at her stunned. "wh-what?" She asked. 

Christine stood up "how are you alive?" She growled. "You died. I remember." Christine says shakily. "not long after I set you free." She says. 

Melino stared at Christine hesitantly. "Chris...." She started to say. 

"what happened Mel!? Do you have any idea how many people Bakura killed when he found you?!" Christine exclaimed. 

Tears prickled at Melino's eyes as she thought back to what happened that day. "I dont know!" She says standing up suddenly. Almost as if automatic, Christine stood up as well. 

"I dont know why im alive" Melino says. "i..I guess...My dad?" she asked. "i mean..." She was finding it difficult to speak and to breath. "I remember waking up. a large cut on my stomach and my baby gone!" Melino exclaimed as she felt the emotions bottling up inside her. 

Christine felt her self tensing up as she stared at the distraught girl in front of her. "wait...your...father?" She asked hesitantly. 

Melino slowly turned and looked at Christine. She looked nervous about something. 

"Aidoneus" Melino replied carefully. 

Christine had a sudden light of realization as she relaxed a little and put herhands on her hips with a sudden laugh. 

Melino's frown intensified. She turned away and teared up. 

"Hades" Christine says shaking her head. "Hades is your father" She says thoughtfully. 

"look, I get it...its not" Melino started to say. 

"You are the daughter of the fucker that Bella babysits for?" Christine says looking at Melino with a scowl. "and you didnt think to tell me about this?" She asked. 

Melino flinched a little. "i...I...People normally tend to stay away from me when they find out who my dad is" she explained. 

"Gods damn it mel! You know my past! I wouldnt do that!" Christine exclaimed as she let her hands drop to her side. 

"i didnt know!' Mel snapped. "I didnt know if you would or not! I was in a bad place!" 

"I know" Christine says. 

"Do you?!" Mel snapped with tears streaming down her face. 

"Yes Mel i do." Christine says with a sigh. "You know how they treated me" 

"that's different" Mel says in denial. 

"No, Mel." Christine sighed. "It isn't. Where i come from...It wasn't just because pharaoh married a slave. They did it because who i am...where i come from. Kul Elna was...a basic taboo to them" She says with a sigh. 

Melino stared at her confused. "K-Kul Elna?" She was shocked at hearing the name of the village that had been destroyed so long ago. 

"Kura and i were the only Survivors"
