Hope is a funny thing.
Everyone has it for everything,
Yet it's destroyed so easily.

People are hopeful they'll win the lottery
Or that they'll marry well.
But what if you don't?

Hope is a funny thing
It's so easy to have, for simple things.
But it can go away in the blink of an eye.

For me, I'm hopeful for a lot of things.
Well, i was.
Now I have no hope.
And I constantly ask why I'm still alive.
