You were having a slightly loud discussion with one of Raphael's advisors, who was talking about how dirty and awful werewolves were. You knew it wasn't true what he was saying, so you fought back, viciously.

"First, you dogs get us killed by the soul-sword and now you're getting us killed by manipulating our leader!" he raised his voice at you, poison dripping down from them.

Your wicked eyes stared at him, anger spilling from your words as you told him to shut up. Now wasn't the time to fight. You came here for your lover, not some stupid vampire who thought he was better than you.

"More than half of my pack died! Do you honestly think I don't care about what happened that night, vamp?!"

"Dogs don't care about other dogs. Good for you that half your pack got buried. Less for me to kill," he smirked.

That's when you lashed out. You could feel your eyes turn a venomous green as you ran towards him, your nails appearing and hair growing on your arms and legs. Your teeth grew as you were ready to bite him.

He looked scared to death, although he had already died once he appeared like he would be dead any moment now. You were almost on top of him when he lashed out at you with a silver ring on his finger.

You screamed brutally as it slit through your fur. It wouldn't leave a scar, but that didn't stop it from hurting. You scratched his arm, making him step back. Now cornered you came closer, still on two legs as you wanted him to see that you weren't a dog, but a human, an actual person.

Suddenly, two strong arms wrapped around you and tried to stop you from biting the vampire who so rudely insulted you. You knew who it was, but you screamed for him to let you go.

"Y/N! Stop!" Raphael said.

You looked into those deep, brown eyes and felt yourself calm down enough to stop the transformation. He hugged you tight while your teeth shrunk, as did your claws and hair. You were slowly turning into a complete person again.

The vampire who you were about to hurt badly, ran away, fear painted over his face.

You growled at him once more when he made sure to get away from you as soon as he could. He almost tripped going down the hallway, but you didn't care.

Raphael continued hugging you until you were 100% human again, his cold kin against yours, cooling you down. You lay your face against his shoulder blade as he kissed your forehead.

"Don't get irritated by those stupid undead, mi amor," he assured you.

"They're making it really hard not to," you joked. He kissed you softly, as you wrapped your arms around him.
