FIRST I LOVE YOU (Sebastian)
This one's for you.
"Y/N?" Sebastian asked, hearing his own voice shake with fear and his hands tremble because of how nervous he was. He didn't dare to look at his girlfriend, afraid that once he stared into those deep, loving eyes, he'd forget how to speak and his plan would be ruined.
"Yes?"
You turned your head, your big E/C orbs staring at his beautiful face, sculpted to reach perfection. You really cared about Sebastian, though when you heard his voice, low and unsure, you feared the worst.
"I-I prepared a speech, and it's horrible but please just bear with me," he confessed, cheeks flashing red with his heart pumping blood too fast for him to compensate. He didn't know how to continue and had almost given up for he had even begun. But she reassured him, like she always did, a soft "I will," coming from her lips.
He started playing with his hands, his eyes to the floor, not sure if he could even say those words with her piercing glance pointed at him. He swallowed down the words he was about to say to get him out of this situation, not wanting to make a fool out of himself.
Fighting, using a dagger or slicing someone to smithereens was easy, he did it without thinking, without blinking, yet confessing his feelings, any feelings except hate, sadness and anger were hard for him to do. He guessed that's how he was raised, the perfect warrior, the flawed human.
He, shaking, took a piece of paper out of his pocket, his speech written on it because he couldn't remember it, the blue ink becoming see-through because of the daylight, blinding him.
"Dear Y/N," he read, sighing loudly "I can't do this."
He gave up, like he always did. He had spent the last hours in his bedroom, practising this speech and no he had no idea how to say it, his tongue turning limp and his lips sealed.
"Yes, you can," Y/N told him, holding his hands which held the paper. She knew how hard this was for him, and for that she lovedhim, for trying, for making an effort to be the best he could be, and that was more than she could have ever asked for.
"I-I, but-" Sebastian stuttered, but was interrupted by his girlfriend.
"No buts. You're going to do this, and you're going to do this perfectly. I believe in you," she told him, eyes twinkling lovingly. He smiled his half smile, not because he was happy, but for a reason he had never been granted before, a feeling which he had forgotten all about.
He felt loved.
"I love you," he whispered, his blond hair messy from all the times he had ran his hand through it the last hour, nervous and stressed. Her cheeks flashing redder than his, her pale skin illuminated by the yellow light.
"I," she lost her words. Yet she knew he couldn't leave him without any. She loved him, deeply, she had just never told him so. And now he had taken the next step, one she was waiting for. And she had nothing left to say except those words, Those powerful, cruel words.
"I love you too,"
