A Jonathan situation:

Jocelyn left her son and Valentine behind in the original version. But what if there is another child?

It's the sibling of Jonathan (so also Clary's) but the protagonist was in Edom with Jonathan and they have a strong bond.

They can either work together to reunite their family and get Clary or the more dramatic version: Jonathan gets killed by Clary and the protagonist destroys the world.
