It finally feels great seeing my life falling perfectly how I always wanted as a kid.

A multi-billion company which consists of houses and hotel suites in different parts of the world, my own mansion and cars, three friends turned brothers and of course, the icing on it all, my beautiful girlfriend, Halle. What more could a man want?

These were the definition of happiness and peace of mind for me.

I smile to my driver, Eric, as I got into my car, not forgetting to thank him for opening the door, appreciating people does not kill, you know.

Immediately I stepped into the office building, Martha, the receptionist flashed me a seductive smile which I just shook my head to, women these days are not the shy ones anylonger.

She never fails to indicate her interest in me, its something everyone knows since she started her work here but she does not seem to care.

I motioned for my guard to take his leave then headed to my office.

"Good morning, Mr. Dumont" Celine, my secretary greeted.

"Hello, Celine. Good morning, how are the kids?" Her face lit up instantly.

"They are great, Sir. Thanks for asking."
She replied.

"Please call me André" Yeah, she was old enough to be my mom. Though she still would not change it, it's something I constantly request but she refuses.

"Okay, but I'll do that when its right. For now, its a No." She smiled warmly and passed fresh set of cookies to me.

"Have them, Sir. I baked them earlier today."

"Thank you." I took a piece and tasted it.

"Divine. This takes heavenly. Thanks once more. Please come to my office in ten minutes to give me a run down of the plans for today."

"Okay, Sir.  She said, and got back to work."

Five minutes into my stay in the office and my door got opened, revealing my three friends; Nicholas, Fabian and Lucas.

"You all have businesses to run, get off mine" I joked.

"That's how you greet your lifesavers, huh?" Lucas replies putting on a very serious face before laughing like a mad man.

"You've always been crazy" Now, that was Nick replying him.

"When you all are done girling around, lets discuss" Fab, the all serious one a.k.a the 'husband' spoke.

"How's the wife?" Nick teased.

"She has a name, Asshole." Fab grins and replies "She's doing great, we are expecting. "

"Congrats, man."

A knock sounds on the door and Celine walks in.

"I'll call you in later. Let me have some time with them." I instruct and she leaves.

We talk for thirty minutes and they take their leave for their companies, it always feels good having them around. We are brothers from different mothers.

Our friendship actually dates back to High School. Almost 20 years of friendship, we have had our bad days but we've always stayed strong.

Understanding, love and respect for one another has been the back bone of our friendship, I could kill for them.

Celine comes in and we discuss more into the day's events. It was not really a stressful day.

It's already 6pm and I always make it a note to be the last to leave the building; my staff well-being is of major concern to me.

Today is exciting as Halle just got back from Spain, from one of her modelling shows. We have a dinner date planned for 8:30pm.

"Sweetheart." I speak into the phone, while entering the car.

"Heyy, its refreshing to be back. I'm home already, it was one long flight." She sighs and I hear her crack her neck.

"Easy, babe. Should we shift dinner till tommorrow? It's clear you're not in a good shape."

"No, no. It's okay. Tonight is perfect."

"You sure? I could come over instead. "

"No, I'm perfectly okay." She replies.

"Okay, then. See you later. Rest for a while."

"I've heared you, love. Take care." She laughs and ends the call.
