After the party, it was time for bed. Shadow began to rise the Moon as you make the Sun set. Starlight was in her bed with Sonic.

"Did you have a good birthday?" I sure did!"

"That's good."

"Thanks Uncle Faker." Starlight said with a small laugh.

"Can you please call me Sonic? Just once at least?"

"Alright Uncle Sonic."

"Thank you." Sonic turned his head and saw you and Shadow walking towards them.

"Looks like your mommy and daddy are here to say good night."

"Good night Uncle Sonic."

"Good night Starlight." Sonic got up and walked towards the door.

"Good night Sonic."

"Night Y/N. Night Shadow."

"Night." Sonic left the room as you and Shadow sat on Starlight's bed.

"Did you have a good birthday?" Y/N asked.

"I did mom. Thank you."

"You're welcome." Starlight began to think for a minute and then looks at you and Shadow.

"Mommy? Daddy? Do you think I'll make a good Queen one day?"

"Of course you will Starlight." Y/N said.

"You will make a great Queen." Shadow said. Starlight smiled a little.

"Thanks mommy and daddy."

"You're welcome. Good night."

"Good night." You both gave Starlight a goodnight kiss and left her room and went to bed.

A few weeks later, Starlight was becoming bored so she decided to go see what her parents were up to. 

Starlight walked towards the throne room and saw you and Shadow talking to a few people. Starlight walked towards the both of you slowly.

"Mommy? Daddy?" You both looked at Starlight.

"Please give us a minute." Shadow said as the man nodded and waited patiently.

"What is it sweetie?"

"Can we do something together?"

"I wish we could but we are a little busy today."

"You said that last time."

"I know but we have a lot of things to do. Running a Kingdom is not easy." Starlight lowered her ears sadly.

"We'll play later. Ok?"

"Ok..." Starlight walked away sadly. Starlight kept looking down as she walked towards her room. Suddenly, Tails said hi to her.

"Hi Starlight."

"Hey..."

"What's wrong? You seem upset."

"I was bored and I wanted to hang out mommy and daddy but they're busy again."

"Well they are the King and Queen after all. You can hang out with me and Cream."

"No thanks." Starlight continued to walk away sadly.

Tails lowered his ears a little, feeling bad for her so he decided to go talk to you and Shadow. Tails walked in the throne room and looked at you and Shadow.

"Y/N? Shadow? Can we talk?"

"Sure Tails. What's up?" Y/N asked.

"Starlight seems to be feeling down since you two aren't getting enough time for her."

"We know but we don't have a choice. We have a Kingdom to run." Shadow said.

"Well...maybe you can take a day off tomorrow and we'll help you out."

"You sure?"

"Yeah. We'll make sure everything is ok."

"Thanks Tails." Y/N said.

"You're welcome." The next day, you and Shadow walked towards Starlight's room and woke her up gently.

"Starlight?"

"Hmm?"

"Wanna have some family time? Just the three of us?" Shadow asked.

"But aren't you busy?"

"Uncle Tails talked to us and told us what was happening so he and our friends will take our place for the day so we can spend time with you." Y/N said.

"Uncle Tails did that for me?"

"He sure did. So what do you say?"

"Yes please!" Starlight hugged you both tight as you both hugged back and now you three began to spend the whole day as a loving family.
