A few years later, Starlight has grown into a beautiful hedgehog just like her mother but she also had her dad's personality. She's more of a tomboy because she likes mostly black and purple and she doesn't like to wear dresses even though she has to.

She likes loud rock and roll music and she's more into the dark side than light. She was wearing the necklace that Rouge gave her for her 5th birthday. She also had a special bracelet from her parents at the age of 9.

Even though she doesn't like jewelry that much anymore, she still wears the ones that mean to her a lot. She was listening to rock music when suddenly, a guard walked in.

"Your highness. Your parents are expecting you." Starlight rolled her eyes.

"Give me five minutes." The guard nodded as he closed the door.

A few minutes later, Starlight came to the throne room with a beautiful dress on. She was not happy about it but she had no choice anyway.

When she saw her parents, you looked at her and smiled as you stood up and hugged her.

"You look so beautiful dear." Starlight hugged back gently.

"Thanks mom." Shadow saw this and smiled as he got up and hugged her too.

"Starlight? You know that we love you right?" Shadow asked.

"How could I forget? You tell me everyday." Starlight said.

"And you know that your time as Queen is almost here and you will be known as the most rarest Queens in history!"

"And?"

"And you'll need a King but we will let you choose who you want."

"Well don't be expecting anything because it's not gonna happen."

"You're gonna have to at some point sweetie but we won't rush you."

"Not gonna happen. I told you this last time. I shouldn't have to tell you again." Starlight said as she walked away. Shadow sighed softly as you watched her leave.

"Let's give her a while. She was just like us when we were her age." Y/N said.

"Yeah but I want to at least let her be happy with the one she loves. When she finds one at least."

"I know but she will when she's ready."

"Whatever happened to our happy little girl." You felt bad for Shadow as you hugged him gently while he hugged back.

Starlight was heading towards outside when suddenly, Sonic saw her and smiled.

"Hey Starlight."

"Need something?"

"Just wanted to say hi."

"Ok?" Starlight just walked away leaving Sonic confused.
