You: How could you just stand there and let him call you that?!?

Shadow: Its no big deal, really.

Sonic: If you know him well then you would think the same.

You: If he's a freak then I guess I am one too, Shadow thanks for the drink but I can't stand to see you being made fun of and not being able to do anything about it.

You leave.
Shadow follows you. You both sit down on the couch.

You: If your gonna follow me then you might as well tell me how you can stand being humiliated without standing up for yourself.

Shadow: Its because I'm used to it ok! You think I haven't tried before?!?! I've been called that my whole life and you think I haven't even tried to stand up for myself, I can't help what I am!

You: I'm sorry, I didn't know.

Shadow: It's ok I'm sorry I snapped. Im just not used to having friends.

You: I can tell.

You see Jeannette talking to Silver, your gonna be here for a while. You might as well start a conversation to pass the time.

You: So Shadow how come you came to this party if you had no intention of having fun?
