Lucy had a look of awe in her face, but her eyes seemed to droop. Athena's normal light only seemed to grow into a candlelight or lantern light. Of course Athena crawled into her corner and slept, but this time I couldn't blame her for being lazy, because we were all tired.

The sun was setting after all, meaning we could get some rest. I really didn't like missing the night and all of its glory, but tonight, I simply had to.

Lucy flopped to the floor, and layed down putting her head on her paws. Her eyes slowly shut, and soon she was fast asleep.

I layed down as well, but before I went to bed, I needed to do something. "Sorry, Luna.. Tonight, I had to miss out." I say in a whisper. I then let the darkness of my eyes shutting take over, slowly, drifting off into a sleep.

I awoke with a startle. I sat upwards looking around to find both Lucy and Athena still sleeping. Was something wrong? My senses would never act up like that... I thought.

Quietly and quickly getting up, I followed my senses. My hearing, vision, and paw stepping were on their edges. I could feel, hear, and see just about everything perfectly... Too perfect. Someone or something had something off about it. I quickly trotted to the door and opened it, slowly walking out and shutting it behind me. If this did become a problem, I didn't want to have Lucy and Athena put in danger. I didn't want them hurt yet again from an adventure caused by me.

I realized it was still night time, about midnight or so, though it still looked like dusk.

Cautiously I began padding over to the middle of the patch of built up grass and moss that was outside of my doorway.

There were tiny footsteps inching nearer and nearer, it felt like they were running against gravity... I kept looking down onto the patch of grass... Of course it meant something.. Right?

In a brisk split second, I saw a blur of a tiny figure running away from something just as they missed my paw..
